it was english class today at the end before the final bell would ring. taehyung hated english, partly because he always thought he sounded funny and seemed to go blank whenever it was his turn to recite something. everyone was lucky today since they walked in and saw the substitute, knowing very well they would be watching some video that actually meant this would be a free period.

taehyung sat in the back and texted his best friend, the two of them making plans at the shorter ones house. they were going to watch all the high school musicals with a bag of twizzlers for the two of them. jimin had already ran down to the gas station during lunch to buy the snacks.

they met up outside in the courtyard once the final bell rang, walking together to the parking lot. "my mom said she made fresh lemonade for us." jimin said, shoving his phone back into his pocket after sending a text back to his mother. "i love her." taehyung said and the two giggled on their way out the school gates.

the plan was to walk to the shorter males house, it was about the same distance but in the opposite direction of taehyungs. they didn't even make it out of the parking lot before a familiar car came zooming up to them and stopping with a squeal of the brakes. the window on the passenger side of the car rolled down and jungkook leaned over a bit to look at the boys standing their on the curb. that wicked smile of his made an appearance.

"get in his car." jimin said while elbowing his friend beside him. taehyung just scoffed and looked at him, "dude we have plans. troy bolton is waiting."

jimin rolled his eyes and pushed the boy to the car. "if you come to my house instead of getting in that car i will beat you up." jimin said it quietly with a smile so only his friend could hear. he smiled at the dark haired male inside the car and waved as the door was pulled open and his friend got in.

"what are you doing here?" taehyung asked once the door shut and the two of them were alone. jungkooks hand was on his thigh while the other rested on the wheel. "did you eat?" he answered with a question instead.

taehyung nodded and leaned back in the nice leather seat that felt warm against his skin. "at lunch i had a bit." he said. jungkook just nodded and they left the lot quickly, pulling out and going into the city. "what are you in the mood for?" he asked now.

"whatever you want." taehyung said. he leaned his head back against the headrest of the seat, feeling the older man rub his thumb back and forth on his thigh as they drove. jungkook picked a fast food place and ordered a few burgers and some cartons of fries to go with it. taehyung looked at the amount of burgers he got, definitely more than what he thought the two of them would eat. he rose an eyebrow and jungkook just shrugged, "it's a cheat day." he defended his appetite.

jungkook pulled forward to the next window after he paid, and he took the bags of food and handed them across the console to taehyung. it didn't take long before he opened the bag and snuck some fries, the greasy food tasting so good after a long day of lectures. jungkook just chuckled at the way he ate well and smiled in content with each bite, his hand returning to the boys thigh.

they drove some more, not in a direction taehyung was familiar with but he didn't quite care as he filled his mouth and felt the warmth go down his throat and to his stomach. jungkook kept driving, and in fifteen minutes and coasting over the speed limit to make it there sooner, he pulled off the road and started driving through the grass of an open area. the city had ended, now there were more houses and open spaces with parks and ponds.

the younger held onto the food as they bumped across the grass and dirt, up a hill and under a huge tree hay was ideal for climbing. "come on baby." jungkook said as he got out of the car and waited for the boy to follow. taehyung brought the bags of fast food and got out of the car as well, and his jaw dropped a little at the simple view.

they were on top of a hill, overlooking a small field with various wildflowers decorating the green like rainbow freckles. the large tree next to the car cast a shadow over them, shading them from the sun and keeping the hood of the car cool. jungkook still grabbed a blanket from the back and laid it across, and he helped the younger climb up with him.

he sat between those muscular thighs, leaning back against an equally toned torso and tattooed arms holding him in place. taehyung felt his cheeks turn pink and he was glad the older couldn't see from the position they were sitting in. taehyung took out two burgers, one for the each of them and he received a thanks in return. "why'd you wanna come here." taehyung asked between bites of his burger.

"i wanted to spend time with you." jungkook said, he set the burger down on the blanket beside him, bringing his arms up to wrap around him tighter, burying his nose in the boys neck. "somewhere that wasn't a smelly gym or with your family."

"you wanted to be alone with me?" taehyung leaned his head back against the males shoulder to look up at him. a smile graced his lips, and one always seemed to do so when he was with the older. "you remember how we alone yesterday."

jungkook chuckled and left a kiss to his neck, "of course i remember." he said. "you make it very difficult for me to forget."

taehyung smiled at that, proud of himself at the subtle praise hidden within those words. he liked this moment more, there was no intense making out or lewd thoughts that had to keep them busy when they were together. jungkook wanted to spend time with him, he wasn't to sit and eat bad food and just be together. it didn't have to be sexual all the time with him. all that only made taehyung feel more special.

"i'm full." he said, putting what was left of his burger back in the fast food bag. taehyung pushed it aside and sat up on the hood, turning a bit to face the older. "was it good." jungkook asked, his hand was still trailing lazily up and down the youngers back, one leg straight out while the other was bent at the knee.

taehyung nodded and he smiled now, climbing off the car and out of the others reach. it was his turn to pull jungkook along, "come on." he said, and the tattooed boy just chuckled and let himself be pulled off the hood of his car.

they walked down the small hill through the grass, hands together and bodies washed in golden light from the rays of sun shining over them. grass brushed their ankles and flowers stood up high in a pretty array. taehyung only let go of his hand to pick some flowers, a few that grew in abundance. he left the ones that were only few in number, the special ones.

jungkook copied him, looking around the field at all the flowers blossoming in warmer weather. it was too nice out to not take advantage of, and soon they were sitting in the grass surrounded by the blades of grass and colors of petals. both were criss cross, knees touching as they faced one another.

a daisy was growing beside jungkooks right thigh, looking pretty and bright amongst all the rainbow colored ones. he picked the daisy, and broke off the excess end of the stem.

the breeze was blowing taehyungs hair back from his face and just revealing more pretty features. jungkook couldn't help but stare for a moment at the way the light made his skin glow more golden, he twirled the flower between his fingers before leaning forward and tucking it behind the youngers ear.

"pretty." jungkook said, leaning back now to just stare at him, and taehyung simply soared, feeling his body leave the mold sitting there in the grass and flying up into the sky to get lost in the cotton candy clouds and keep going until he landed in the stars. it was unreal, the warmth in his chest and the way his insides turned to mush just when jungkook looked at him like that. taehyung blushed, and his cheeks resembled the petals of flowers surrounding the two boys — two souls sitting in a field that started to feel like a world of their own, where they lived in a garden growing for only them.
