lucas and i had finished setting up the house for the fake-birthday party. it was perfect because my brother is living in the basement while we get the attic. in our 'party zone' as mom calls it, we have blankets, pillows, blow up mattresses, chairs and a couch we never use as well as my television so we can watch movies. it's perfect.

lucas, penny, harriet, reagan, jaeden, wyatt, finn, jeremy, chosen, jack, and i were all sitting around a bowl of popcorn as we talked. there were a million conversations going on all at once, it was very overwhelming. lucas sat across from me so the announcement later tonight would be more dramatic.

"okay, while you hooligans scream your lungs out, i think we should play truth or dare." penny said as she ate a single piece of popcorn.

"brilliant idea!" jeremy beamed, smiling at penny. everyone had agreed to penny's suggestion and now we played the game.

"clementine because it's your fake birthday i think that you should go first." jaeden crossed his legs and propped his head upon his hands.

i glanced around the room and smiled. "lucas," i said happily, "truth or dare?"

"lementine." regan coughed not so nonchalantly.

"dare." he said unsure of his answer.

"i dare you to go order us a pizza." i said proudly.

"fine, i'll go get the phone." he said standing up and going downstairs. "penny you can take my turn!" he called back up to us.

"great!" penny smiled looking around the room. "harriet, my dear, dear friend, truth or dare?"

"dare." harriet smiled confidently.

"wonderful! i dare you to go sit in the wardrobe and come out and scare lucas once he gets back." penny explained.

"easy," harriet scoffed as she stood up and walked towards the wardrobe that hadn't been cleaned in years. she then closed the doors and yelled, "jack! truth or dare?"

"truth!" he responded as he laid on a pillow.

"have you ever gotten high or drunk?" harriet asked.

"yes." he responded nervously.

"too which one?" harriet asked.

"yes."

"well shit." reagan said scratching the back of her head. "jack blazer is real."

"jeremy, truth or dare?" jack asked, changing the topic as fast as possible.

"truth." he spoke confidently.

"who is the prettiest girl in the room?" jack asked him.

jeremy let out a dry cough. "umm... penny is." he spoke quietly, penny was looking around the room, watching everything but jeremy. he frowned nervously.

"okay, wyatt," jeremy said coughing a little, "truth or-"

"dare." wyatt said. "you can't handle the truth."

"damn okay then. i dare you to switch clothes with reagan." jeremy looked between the two evilly. he knew something.

"come on olaf." reagan said dragging wyatt to his feet.

"don't call me that." wyatt mumbled as they left the room to get changed.

"no funny business!" jaeden yelled to the two.

"what did i miss?" lucas asked running up the stairs.

"awkwardness." jack said simply.

"where's harri-ET!" lucas screamed after the short blonde girl jumped out of the wardrobe, shaking and screaming like pennywise.

"queen of horror right here, ladies and gentle-fruits." i applauded as lucas held his hand over his heart.

"that was fun." harriet smiled and jumped over to me, sitting down.

"no it wasn't." lucas heaved as he sat down next to jaeden. "i'm mortified."

"boo you whore." jaeden said.

"we haven't watched mean girls in over a week!" jeremy yelled shaking his head before sighing.

"it's just his new catchphrase." penny said to the group.

the game continued on for a while. reagan and wyatt returned wearing the opposites clothing and more secrets were revealed. as well as embarrassing stunts performed. and nearly an hour later the pizza arrived. well two pizzas, one was a large meat lovers, and the other was a medium vegans.

"who wants the first slice?" i asked as i put the boxes in the centre.

"i think penny deserves it." lucas smiled happily at his friend.

"if you say so." penny smiled and opened the box. when she did her eyes went wide and mouth fell open. penny was frozen. soon her ajar mouth turned into a grand smile. "HOLY MOTHER OF MIKE WHEELER! HOLY SHIT! I WAS RIGHT! OH MY SCHNAPP! THIS BETTER NOT BE A LIE OR IM SLAUGHTERING EVERYONE IN THE ROOM!"

"jesus i knew pizza was great but how great can this pizza be?" wyatt asked grabbing the pizza box and turning it to face him and i.

on the inside of the box a message was written.

"lementine is canon"

i looked over to lucas who was smiling like an idiot. but so was i.

"i guess the truth is coming out now." i smiled widely and walked over to lucas, kissing his cheek.

"i hate you." reagan said from next to wyatt. "how could you not tell me?"

"because we needed to see everyone's reactions." lucas smiled at the group.

all of them had similar reactions, bright smiles and multiple profanities. it was fantastic. i was happy now, lucas and i were official with our friends and that's all i've ever wanted.

so my friends, i have one more chapter after this. it will be short but it's the end of part one! crazy right? so for probably the next week i'll be editing part one, because there are dozens of errors and things that need sprucing up. if i change anything important i'll tell you guys in an authors note. i love all of you very much. [btw in part two you should be expecting more relationships *wink wonk* ;) ]
