Chapter 1

I do not own any of the characters of the world of Stephanie Meyer. I am just a fanfiction writer who is trying something new. This is a Leah ClearwaterXReneesmee Cullen fanfiction. SMUT of course. Hope you enjoy it!

"It's been ten long years, and today we're all here to remember the people who lost their lives in the tragic storm of 2008. I want everyone to lower their heads in silence for just a moment. To remember the people, you may have lost". Leah Clearwater looked out her tiny window in sorrow. The small television that was propped using a chair showed a mousy looking woman, speaking about the "accident" that happened nearly ten years ago. Today was the anniversary of that day, the day that Leah Clearwater's life completely changed. Sighing, Leah listened to the hum of the woman's voice as she spoke about the events of the day. Both towns, La Push and Forks were supposed to be holding a candlelight vigil at their respected local cemeteries. Leah tried to remember the last time she visited anyone there. Was it three years ago? Maybe five? At this point Leah couldn't care less. Nothing was bringing those people back, so what was the point of remembering? Only to hurt her heart even more. Another rough sigh escaped the young women as she listened to the silence of her home. Turning towards the t.v she wondered about that day. The screams of those people, flesh being ripped. Her mind racing, body running as she tried to help. If she just ran a little faster, if her ears worked a little better . . . maybe. Leah couldn't help but think about all the what ifs. Even though it happened so long ago, Leah could never stop thinking about everything she lost. Again she tried to rid her mind of these thoughts, switching off the television she decided to go for a run. Hopefully the cool La Push air would take her mind off today.

Before her feet hit the ground her entire body started to shift. At this point turning was like breathing to her. Her bones started to break as her body turned into what she hated most. Her paws hit the ground in a loud thud as she sprinted towards the forest, only her shredding clothes left behind. Running through the forest her ears picked up hundreds of different animals. Leah's anger melted away as she listened to all the families of the forest. She did her best not to disturb them as her wolf form weaved and slid through the tree's. The farther she was away from La Push the easier it was for her to think. As her paws hit the ground she could feel herself getting closer to the border, and the stench getting stronger. Knock Knock, I wonder if the leeches are home? Leah thought, finally making it to the border she traced her paw over it.

"Leah's looking for a death wish"

"Maybe the leeches will take her in"

"You think the leeches would want her? We don't even want her"

Leah tried to ignore the pumping of thoughts that were now invading her mind. Even though there were some good aspects to being a wolf, this one was not one of them. Over the course of these ten years she could never get used to the invasion of privacy that was always inflicted on her when she changed. "Would you all just shut up?!" She thought, huffing in annoyance. By now the entire pack had shifted. Leah considered shifting back into her human form, but before she had a chance to think it over, someone chimed in. "Leah really does want to be a leech. You hear this guys?!". This 'whoever his face' ,was really getting on Leah's nerves. She believed the thoughts belonged to a new wolf. For some reason all the new pups felt like they could protect La Push better than their elders. Even though most of them have never even seen a vampire before. It amused her though that he decided to speak up. Growling, Leah turned her thoughts to him. "How would you know what I was doing anyways? If a leech was right in front of you we all know that you would run with your tail between your legs. All you pups have never gone through what we have so in that case you can shut your fucking mouth! I hope a leech sneaks into your home and shuts that fat fucking mouth of yours". And with that Leah shifted back into her human form in anger. She knew that pup didn't deserve what she just said, but it's hard to keep her anger at bay when all those assholes that she shares a mind with always have something to say. Ever since Sam left with Emily and the baby, things have been crazy around here. Since there's no alpha, the pups feel like they can just trample on the veterans. Especially Leah, since at this point she couldn't care less about the pack. Everyone thought she was some kind of leech lover since she was the one to suggest that all of them try to get along with the remaining bloodsuckers that were still around. But because of the accident, they lost half of their pack. Half of their people were killed. And for what? Some blood sucking half vampire bitch.

Leah swayed from side to side as her body hovered over the border. She wondered whether to cross it or not. For a while things have been pretty peaceful for the town. No mysterious deaths or bodies being drained of blood. Come to think of it, Leah could only remember one accident, over three years ago, that the council had to cover up. This had nothing to do with the Cullen's though, just some rough vampire stepping on our land. With the large amount of time on her hands, Leah decided to practice her human running. Sucking in a long breath and readying her feet, she was off. Her legs were moving a mile a minute as she pushed herself to go even faster. Her naked body blurring passed the trees as she picked up speed. As she ran Leah started to remember the good times, when her and Jacob would run through this forest when they were kids. She missed her best friend . . . not being able to see him because of the whole "imprint on a half leech" thing. It wasn't that she didn't approve of his imprint, it just freaked her out. To think that wolves were able to imprint on vampires, what would that mean for imprinting as a whole? No one really understood imprinting, but because of the journals that our ancestors kept, we got a better understanding of it. Ephraim Black, Jacobs great grand-father stated in one of his journals that he believed imprinting was a way for our wolves to keep the bloodline strong and pure. At the time he only noticed his pack was imprinting on women in the village, and whenever they had kids those wolves would turn out to be very strong. Since then we've had to throw out that idea completely. Because of Jacob and his imprint on Renesmee we were right where we left off with imprinting, no where. The pack rarely wanted to bring it up though since Jacob wasn't in the pack anymore. Deciding to go along with Ephraim's idea of imprinting, there was nothing to freak out over. Leah thought otherwise though. She always wondered what it was like to imprint. The idea that you're no longer bound to the earth by gravity, but by a person. This completely terrified Leah, because she saw first hand how imprints can ruin a relationship, even tear families apart.

Closing her eyes, Leah tried to stop her heart from beating out of her chest. She wanted to continue running, but her body wouldn't let her. Emotions rushed through her like a waterfall, and the tears flowed down. She wanted nothing more than to get over everything that happened. She was happy for Emily and Sam, even went to their wedding. She stopped being this bitter person, and instead turned into a numb one. Stopping suddenly she searched her surroundings. She had been running next to the border line the entire time, making sure not to go over it. Her body was on fire as she tried to catch her breath while also wiping the tears away. She couldn't understand why her thoughts were bringing up things that she's been gotten over. "You're a very fast runner for a human". Leah froze, her body on high alert. She wondered how someone was able to sneak up on her? Her hearing was better than anyone else's in the pack, but somehow this human was able to catch her by surprise. By the sound of his voice and the small movement from his shoes Leah was able to pinpoint exactly where he was. She considered turning around and giving this guy a show, but then decided against it, seeing as that would have been very creepy. "Thank you". She stated, clearing her throat. She was feeling a little uncomfortable, knowing that meeting someone in the forest was not an ideal way to go. She wondered what this guy was doing here, and what he wanted with her. "Why are you naked?" He asked. His voice sounded like melted chocolate and velvet all wrapped in one. Leah's body was compelled to turn around, to look at him. Leah was shocked that she felt like she had no will power. Why was her wolf so eager to want to see what this person looked like. It was like she was trying to pull Leah towards this man, which only made her want to stand her ground even more. "Running naked helps me feel free" Leah caught herself saying. She would have never revealed that information to a stranger, and she wondered why she did it so willingly. This person was starting to freak her out though. She realized that he hasn't moved since he started this weird conversation with her. You may think it's not weird for a human to move, but science has actually proved that because of the rotation of the earth, humans have to stay in balance, and in order for that to happen they have to move.

Slowly bending down, Leah retrieved a few clothing items from a nearby bush. As fast as she could she slipped on both items, a raggedy old shirt that was too large for her and some short shorts. Deciding that she was over feeling freaked out she turned around. The boy looked to be no more than eighteen, even though his demeanor made him look much older. The way his head hung low and his shoulders leaned told a story of a man who had a long and hard life. Leah had a strange desire to hug this man, to let him know that she was here for him. What the fuck!? Leah thought, snapping back into reality. "You're starting to freak me out". Leah announced, ready for whatever this man had up his sleeve. "I wasn't trying to make you feel uncomfortable, to be honest my gift brought me to you". Leah didn't like the fact that he wouldn't lift up his head. She was feeling very uneasy about this whole situation. Leah thought back to one of those stupid meetings the pack would always have whenever we learned something new about a vampire. In that particular meeting Sam had used the words ''special ability" and "gift" whenever he was talking about things that certain vampires could do. Leah didn't understand why her body was feeling like running away, but her wolf was jumping for joy. She never experienced this pull before. The thought of her wolf getting this giddy over a stranger confused her, and she wanted no part of it. "What the hell are you talking about?" Leah asked, getting more frustrated by the minute. "I guess I have to show you". Leah heard him whisper, and before she knew what was happening, all she could see was red.
