No one mess this up. We are literally almost at the end of the year and I swear to gods, if the Dreamers mess this up, I will just... I actually don't know what I would do. I haven't really decided where I wanted to go just yet. Maybe I should take a year off.

"Is that really what you want to do?" Blackout asked as he laid on my bed.

"I am not sure. College is a big choice to make. I don't even know if I want to go and learn for the next four years" I told him.

I forgot my guardian is this tiny dragon of destruction and darkness. I wonder who thought this was a good idea.

"For now, why don't focus on your homework. There is no use thinking about something without having an idea about it" Blackout stated as he closed his eyes and prepared to take a nap.

"How do you know I have homework?" I asked him annoyed.

"I talked with the rest of the guardians. They each talk about how much homework and finals they have. You should do your homework or else!" he threatened in a low voice.

"Alright! Alright!" I said tiredly as I rummaged through my bag to find my homework and finish it.

I wonder what I should do for my future? This is a question I will be thinking about for a while I have a feeling. I was walking to lunch as Blackout was carrying my bag.

"Still thinking about it?" Blackout asked bluntly.

"Next year will be my senior year. That should be the year where I should know what I should do with my life, yet I just don't have the answer. I am very worried about this" I retorted to him.

"Can't you just go a college you like and figure it out from there?" Blackout asked.

I stopped for a moment. Can I do that? Because if I can do that, that would help me out a lot. I would be able to focus on my studies as well as think about the career I want to have!

"I see you didn't have trouble thinking about that possibility" Blackout said as he entered the cafeteria and placed my bag on the ground, "Summon me if you need anyone to talk sense into you"

He disappeared in a black hole as I just glared at him. How can he just give advice and be rude about it? Whatever. I've got to eat and then focus on my classes for the day. I really don't like Mondays.

"Axel!" Jimmy greeted cheerfully as he ran towards me with a bag of food.

"Hi Jimmy" I greeted tiredly.

Well, let's grind through this week and figure out what I want to do. As I sat with my friends, I mostly listened to everyone's conversation. They were talking about sports and other popular news that I was thinking about my future.

"Hey, are you ok?" Jimmy asked curiously.

"Yeah. I am just thinking" I answered him.

"About?" he egged on.

"My future" I told him.

Jimmy leaned back on his chair. I don't think he'll give me a good response. Jimmy is probably going to make some kind of joke about my situation.

"Just do what you love" he stated as if it was the simplest solution to my problem

I started at him dumbfounded. I don't know if that is the right answer.

"That's the best way to go through your life. Find what you want to do and go for it" Jimmy answered strongly.

Huh, that was strong point he made. I wish I could have that kind of motive. I just can't think like him.

"Thanks Jimmy. That will definitely help me" I said as I patted his back.

He smiled at me as we continued to eat our lunch. Afterwards, we went to the Auditorium. Jimmy was practicing his guitar playing while I sat in the stands and began to work on my homework.

"So, are you going to follow your heart?" Blackout asked as he appeared next to me.

"I know that is going to be a deciding factor" I nodded as I finished my English homework.

I picked up my science notebook to go over the notes. Man, I really don't like science. It is far too complicated for me. Well, I know one thing I will not put my life into.

"That wasn't too hard to decide" Blackout commented sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes at him. Seriously, what is his deal with me? If he didn't want to be a guardian, then why did he sign up to be one? Wait, when did Jimmy stop playing his music? I looked up at the stage to find him and Tienro searching for the problem with their speakers.

"Hey! Axel! Can you see if you can find the problem near you?!" Jimmy shouted as he checked backstage.

"On it!" I shouted as I placed my things on a chair and walked to the tech booth.

Ok, technically, I am not supposed to be here, but it was an emergency. I actually have no idea what I just walked into. There was someone messing around with the main sound and light board! I hide behind the steps as I motioned for Blackout to be quiet. However, the mysterious person must've known we were here, because he turned off all the lights!

"Get me out of here!" I whisper yell at Blackout.

"Fine" he said as he flapped his wings to create a portal.

I landed outside of the Auditorium, but Jimmy was still inside.

"We have to go back" I told Blackout who just landed out of his portal.

"And why should we? I personally don't like Jimmy" he stated simply as he whipped his tail to close the portal.

That's it. I am done taking insults and rude comments from him.

"Then you know what? Screw you! I hope you realize how much of a jerk you are!" I shouted as I ran back into the Auditorium.

I could care less if he followed me after the way he was talking to me and my friends. Seriously, who does he think he is?! As I entered the Auditorium, I forgot about the lights, so I tripped over a chair and landed on my face. Yeah, that is going to hurt in the morning. I took my wand out of my pocket and cast a small light spell.

"Jimmy? Tienro? Where are you?" I called out to them.

I picked myself and began to search for them. I called out to them multiple times, but they did not respond to me. Figures. I walked towards back stage, but the curtain was down. I wonder what is going on.

"Jimmy, if I find you relaxing back here, I will never help you with last minute homework assignments again" I threatened as I pulled the curtains back.

He wasn't there... Ok, what's the actual heck is going on?

"Trying to find your friend? Don't bother. He's in a long sleep" a voice called out.

Well, he's going to be asleep for a long time. I don't think there's a girl here who wants to kiss him. At least, that I know of. There could a girl who would want to kiss Jimmy and by all means, go ahead.

"Ok, then I'm leaving" I said as I turned to leave the person.

"Wait, you are just going to leave your friend there?" the person asked confused.

"I am not going to kiss him" I simply stated as I walked towards the exit.

The person nearly fell down at that comment, but then the person composed themselves.

"I just put him to sleep! He doesn't need to be awaken by some stupid fairy tale logic!" the person shouted annoyed.

"Should've mention that" I pointed out as I emitted the light spell to light up the whole area.

My eyes nearly jumped out of their sockets as I saw Jimmy literally asleep on the ground along with Tienro. He really wasn't lying. Oh, that's who put them to sleep, that Phantom Ninja person. I recall someone was trying to catch this person, but they didn't have much luck. I think that was Alyssa.

"Well, I suggest you let my friends go" I said as I prepared to fight the ninja.

"Or what? You can't fight me" he said as he threw smoke bombs at me.

I closed my eyes and prepared to take the hit, but I fell through something. It better not be that Sex Pit! What's that? Well, uh there's a mattress under the stage where couples used to go to hock up, if you know what I mean. I landed on the ground in the Auditorium. Wait, how did I get here?

"Sorry" Blackout said as his wings grew large.

"We're cool man" I apologize as I stood up next to him, "Do we have a plan?"

"Wake up your friends. I'll personally handle him. He doesn't mess with my friends" he said as he lunged at him.

Alright then. I didn't expect that from him. However, he did apologize and wanted to help my friends. I ran to Jimmy and Tienro. I waved my wand over them to make water rain over them. Well, it was a bit much. Their clothes were soaked, but they were awake. Jimmy jumped up in shock as Tienro rolled away from the water.

"What the heck, man?!" Jimmy shouted annoyed as he starred at me.

"You wouldn't wake up" I shrugged at him.

"Axel! A little help!" Blackout shouted as he dodged a strike.

I ran towards him with my wand in my hand. They were moving too fast. I have to make a choice! I either aim for the ceiling or the wall they were currently heading for. I quickly cast a powerful lighting spell at the ceiling and made one of the lights crash on the ninja. The ninja hit the ground with a thud. Huh, I didn't realize how strong that spell was. Oh, well.

"Not bad kid. You were able to defeat him and make a decision. Now, just find what you are passionate about" he said as he opened a portal under the ninja and jumped after him.

I smiled. He really did support and help me. I jumped to conclusions on that one. He did help me realize that I can wait and make a decision. Right now, I know where I am going to college and wait to find my what something makes me passionate. I am almost there.
