I always enjoyed baking treats for everyone in my grade. I was sitting at a table with my best friend, Amelia. Nina and Sarah also joined up as well. I presented them strawberries covered in chocolate. Nina gasped in awe as Amelia took one for herself. Sarah ate a few while Nina thanked me for making such amazing treats.

"Lauren! Are you ready to make the next batch of cookies!" Minnie asked me as she took out another bowl.

Today, our school was celebrating Christmas a little early. Nish and Chloe had requested me to bake a few batches of cookies. I would normally be baking at the common room, but I need to make a lot of cookies for this event.

"Yes Minnie" I asked of her kindly.

After the whole battle against Young Xehanort, Minnie insisted on becoming a guardian. She was determined to help them somehow. She decided to become a guardian. She became my guardian. I was grateful to help her out as well. She seems very happy about this as well.

"So, do you always have parties?" Minnie asked as she placed a new batch into the oven.

"Just around the holidays. It's to get into the holiday spirit" I answered her as I added some sprinkles onto another cookie.

"That sounds lovely. I hope to do that once the Wielders have finally defetated Xehanort. Mickey will finally be able to stay home with me" Minnie said happily.

I smiled at her. I could understand that. Keenan and Dana were always worried about Preselzee and Connor. Whenever the two of those Dreamers were out on an adventure, Keenan would always ask about Preselzee while Dana had trouble controlling her Spring Powers. The both of them are looking forward to the day the Dreamers can stop fighting this battle.

"It will. One day. I promise" I said to her.

At that moment, Daisy, Julia, and Pluto entered the baking room. They were excited about something.

"Is it almost ready?!" Julia asked quickly.

"Almost. I am just waiting for one more batch" I answered calmly as Minnie loaded the last batch of cookies.

"Great! I can't wait to eat your cookies!" Julia exclaimed.

"She's been telling us about how great your cookies are. I can't wait to have a taste myself" Daisy added with a smile.

Ah, so that's why she is here. Hehe, I didn't realize how popular these cookies were to everyone.

"Alright Julia, you can have the first one" I told her as I picked up one with a napkin.

I handed her a cookie as she jumped up excitedly. Once I placed the cookie in her hands, she ran away and ate the whole thing in one bite! I swas surprised while Minnie and Daisy were laughing a bit. Julia had a bright smile on her face.

"It's amazing!" Julia exclaimed.

I was relieved. I knew my cookies were good, but Noel is the better chief in my opinions. Her waffles are so good!

"Everyone will love this!" Julia said with a thumbs up.

"Everyone will love what exactly?!" a loud voice boomed in the kitchen.

We turned around to see a dark corridor open! Who is this, and why do they want cookies of all things? If I recall correctly, the Dreamers are currently travelling around our world searching for other magic schools. I assumed the enemy would chase after them.

"Those cookies won't be that great!" Pete proclaimed as he walked into the kitchen.

"Pete! What are you doing here?!" Minnie demanded, "You are not allowed to be in the castle anymore!"

Pete didn't seem to be paying attention to her as he stormed over to Julia and me.

"Those cookies can't be that good! It would bring any holiday cheers if you ask me!" Pete said as he took one cookie from a plate.

He ate one of them and was surprised. I knew my cookies were ok.

"Maybe there decent! However, I won't let you finish these anymore!" he stormed to the oven!

I had to think fast! That is the last batch we need. I looked around the room and recalled something Minnie mentioned about this castle. I quickly ran to the cook books shelf and picked out a fancy book.

"Hey! Pete! Didn't you want this?!" I shouted to get his attention.

Everyone turned towards me in shock. I think it worked. Pete stopped marching towards the oven and looked at the book in my hands.

"Where did you get that?! I need that! Malificent needs that book! Give it to me!" Pete demanded.

"Come and get it!" I shouted as I ran out of the kitchen.

"Wah! Come back here!" Pete yelled as he chased after me.

Julia was very worried about me, but Daisy and Minnie were very calm about this. I think they knew what I was doing. Minnie turned towards Daisy, Pluto, and Julia.

"Please take these cookies out of here. Take them to your world. Lauren and I will be with you shortly" Minnie reassured them calmly as she walked after me.

"Wait, are you sure that's a good idea your majesty?!" Julia asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, Julia. Queen Minnie knows what to do. Trust me. Now, let's give these cookies to your friends" Julia said as she opened the keyhole.

Meanwhile, I had led Pete across the courtyard. He kept creating dark spheres and throwing it at me! However, I carefully created a shield of light around myself. This would make the spheres fly away from me.

"You can't keep running forever!" Pete shouted as he launched a lighting bolt at me!

Oh, no! My shield won't be able to counter that! The lighting broke through my shield as I entered the main hallways of the castle! It shattered into a million shiny lights.

"What?! A light shield?! How dare you use that!" Pete shouted as he sped up!

I quickly unlocked the doors to the throne room and ran in. The throne was still there. The doors broke open! I yelped as I ran towards it. I had to open it.

"Get back here!" he shouted as he saw me making a run for it to the throne.

I was almost there when a bolt of lighting crashed in front of me! I stumbled backwards and landed on the ground as I tossed the cook book into the air! I was so close! Pete just chuckled as he walked towards the book.

"That was too easy! I should've done that years ago!" Pete stated as he picked up the book.

He picked up the book and began to examine it. When he opened it, he was yelling.

"This is a cook book!" Pete shouted in disbelief.

I tried to get away from him, but he made another lighting bolt crash near me! I yelped back in shock as I turned around to face him.

"You won't be leaving this place! You'll pay for making a fool out of me!" Pete shouted angrily.

I gripped my wand, but I saw a bright light shinning down on Pete! He screamed in pain as the light covered him. I gasped in shock as I looked behind him to see Minnie!

"Now!" she shouted at me.

I nodded as I stood up and pointed my wand at him. I shot a powerful light chain. This chain held Pete together! Minnie clasped her hands together as a beam of light rained from the sky and crashed down on Pete! He seemed dazed and fell to the ground.

"Thank you" I said to Minnie in a grateful manner.

Minnie, however, looked very mad.

"That was very reckless of you. If I hadn't notice what you were doing, Pete would've defeat you and taken you to Malificent!" Minnie scolded.

I held my head in shame. I knew I shouldn't have done that, but I didn't want him to hurt anyone.

"Though, that was a clever plan. Please be aware that you do not need to do things on your own. You have friends who are willing to help you" Minnie said with a smile on her face as she extended her hand.

I smiled at her as I took her hand.

"Of course. Oh! Where are the cookies?" I asked her worriedly.

"Don't worry. I had Daisy and Julia take the cookies to your school already. We should probably join them" Minnie said as she opened the keyhole.

We departed for my world. I was surprised to see everyone from our grade enjoying the cookies and hot chocolate.

"Lauren! Here!" Amelia shouted as she ran towards me.

She handed me one of my cookies and a hot chcoclate. Before I took a bite of it, I saw the Dreamers here. They were enjoying my cookies and hanging out with their friends. I smiled as a warm and pleasant feeling swept over me. I saw Dana and Connor sharing a cookie while Keenan and Preselzee were chatting about their favorite sports. This is why I baked those cookies. It brought us together again. I was so happy. I took a bite of my cookie as I began to talk to my best friend about our vacation plans for this winter break.
