Today was the day. You celebrated your long time friends 73rd birthday. You guys spent a whole life together, your practically brother and sister.
After meeting him and his friends you guys all quickly became close. After you and Keith became a couple, Mick and you were even closer. It's been like that for over 50 years. You and Mick were often mistaken as a couple, even playing along sometimes. Today was his day, he needed more attention then he did on a regular day, which could be a lot. You slowly got up, taking your pills and taking a shower. Keith must have already been up. You got out and dressed up. You yourself were turning 69 but that was three weeks away. You walked down stairs to find Keith playing with his telecaster. You wrap your arms around him and lay your head on his back, just like you used to do back then. You heard him chuckle and couldn't help but smile.
"Hey baby" he said in his raspy voice.
" Hey Keef" you say and peck his clothed shoulder.
* Flash back to 1972*
Keith and you were getting ready for Micks birthday. As you guys waited around you laid your head on a shirtless Keith.
" Hey there babe" he chuckles
" Hey Keef" you say and peck his shoulder"
* Present day*
You got up and sat beside him, taking his cig and taking a drag out of it.
" it's Micks birthday you know" you state and he chuckles.
" I've been listening to him bitch for a whole month babe, I'm aware" he smiled and you couldn't help but laugh. Sadly, Keith and Mick didn't get along as much as they did back in the 70's and 60's, but they still cared for one another, you knew that.
" is the kids coming to celebrate?" You ask and he nods. The thing with Mick, he likes his birthday party big. He has for years. Everyone was invited. Thanks to his birthday in 72' you and Keith had conceived your first child. You couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. You called Micks wife and wanted to know the plan. You put it on speaker so Keith could hear.
" if you don't mind, could you order the cake at the hotel. It's supposed to be huge" she laughs.
" just like every year" you laugh.
" like his ego" Keith says and you laugh harder. Keith and you always share jokes and make each other crack up, there have been recordings messed up because you made Keith laugh to hard.
"Yeah, we can handle it" you say and she chuckles.
" okie dokie! See you guys later tonight, oh and Keith?" She asks
" yes?"
" maybe try not to fall asleep this time?" She asks.
" I'll try " he says and you chuckle.
" see ya!" You say and click the hang up button.
Keith chuckled and gets up.
" what's funny?" You ask.
" oh, it's just, back in 63' his birthday use to be so small and we would just go and have fun. Just the band and some girls you know?" He asks. You smile at him and nod.
" I know, but times change Keith" you say and rest your hand on his arm.
" no shit" he chuckles and you laugh.
Later that night
You and Keith made your way to the hotel that Mick was celebrating his birthday at. You came out with your family and friends of course. Your two Sons and daughters made their way in with their spouses around them, then you and Keith stepped out hands linked together. It was great, just to be able to get up and celebrate like this, you were very thankful. You stepped inside and was greeted by some waiters.
You saw Micks daughter coming towards you.
" hey aunt Y/n and uncle Keith!" She said and hugged both of you.
" hey! Where's the man of the hour?" You ask and she shakes her head.
" getting ready"
" of course, always wants to make an entrance" Keith said.
You couldn't help but chuckle. You and Micks daughter kept talking but Keith wondered off somewhere. As you were talking, you felt a pair of hands on your shoulder and shake you viciously. It had to be Ronnie. She let you go and you turned to face Ronnie with a smile.
" hey there lovely!" He said and hugged you.
" Ronnie are you drunk already?!" You exclaimed making you both laugh.
" not a lot......" He says and pretends to count how many drinks he has had. You both laugh and see Sally come up.
She hugs you and you smile. For someone who just had twins she was looking good!
" Sally! Did you even have kids! You look so good!" You laugh.
" Thank you!" She laughs and turns to Ronnie.
" congrats you guys, but Sally l'm sorry" you said and acted pitiful.
" why what happened!" She asks surprised.
" you have to deal with a 69 year old asshat" you said and she and Ronnie laughed.
" he can be great sometimes" she laughs and you laugh too.
" but only sometimes" you add and they laugh more.
You feel someone come up next you, Charlie.
" hey man! How you doing?" You asked and hugged him. He chuckles and speaks up.
" just can't wait to get home" he sighs, making you laugh more.
" how's Shirley?" You ask and he smiles.
" she's talking to some of her friends" he says and you smile. You and Charlie talk more and laugh more. Then you search for Keith, but as you were looking you found a pair of eyes that you haven't seen lately and you couldn't help but smile.
" Bill fucking Wyman!" You say and he laughs. Although you and Bill weren't as close as you and Mick, or you and Ronnie, you had a connection with him. You guys didn't have to talk, you could just look at each other and sometimes bust out laughing for no reason.
You hug him and he hugs back. Just like you said, you stared at each other and then started laughing.
" you look great Y/n, how's it been?" He ask you smile.
" good, still touring" you say and he laughs.
" I've been meaning to catch up with ya lately! " you say as you just remember.
" about what?"
" I need an A minor bass line in like a funk slap style, your the only guy I know that can do it" you laugh.
He laughs and nods his head.
" I can handle it" he smiles and you hug him again repeating thank you.
The great thing about you guys were you were all still immature in your own way. You then hear shouting and you can sense that Mick, has just entered the building. He walks up to the mic and everyone goes silent. Except for Keith.
" hurry up! I'm tired!" He yells and everyone laughs. You head your way to Keith.
" fuck off! " Mick says.
" crummy Keith" he whispers into the mic and everyone laughs again. You reach Keith and he wraps an arm around your waist.
" guys I wanna say thank you all for coming! Thank you all for taking the time to celebrate my 73rd birthday! I'm getting old" he sighs and everyone laughs.
" we are too so hurry it up! " you yell and everyone laughs again, Keith high fives you. Mick looks at you and shakes his head.
" you can leave anytime you like!" He chuckles and you couldn't help but laugh.
There was the brother sister bond you have.
He smiles at you and finishes his speech.
Everyone cheers and shouts" happy birthday! "
You and Keith talk to some more people and get a few drinks.
Then your senses went off again and you turned to see your spiritual brother.
" Mick!!!" You say and hug the hell out of him. He laughs and hugs you tighter.
Back then it would hurt, but now you both were too old.
" hey there kiddo" he laughs and ruffles up your hair.
" 73! Mick I didn't think you would ever make it!" You laugh and he rolls his eyes.
" but yet I'm still in better shape then you" he shoots back and you lay a hand on your chest pretending to be hurt.
He winks at you and you playfully punch him.
* flash back to 1972*

" Mick you idiot!" You laugh and he laughs harder. He had just put cake icing all over you! You couldn't help but laugh and attack him with it too.
" hey Keith might like it when you taste sweeter!" He says and you heard Keith laughs.
" maybe Bianca would like it if you weren't such a bitch!" You laugh and throw some icing at him.
" hey! I'm not a bitch, I'm the bitch" he says and you laugh.

*present day*
" Happy Birthday to Mick! Happy birthday to you!!" We all sang and Mick blew out his candles. This was your moment. You grabbed some icing and smeared it all over his face.
" your such a bitch!" He laughed and threw some at you.
" hey! I'm not a bitch, I'm the bitch" you said, quoting his own words and he chuckles.
You continued on till it was time to actually eat the cake. After that you and Keith went dancing one time.
He wrapped his arms around your waist and your arms around his neck. Your head on his chest and you felt him kiss the top of your head.
" keef " you murmured.
" yes doll?" He asks.
" do you remember when we did this in 72'?" You ask and he laughs.
" how would I not! It was one of the best night I had" he says and you couldn't help but smile.
* Flash back to 1972*
" Keith, what do you thinks gonna happen in the future?" You ask. You and him were dancing to a slow song. You head on his chest. Arms around each other.
" I don't know babe. Hopefully still making music, still living would be nice" he chuckles.
" I don't know Keith, they did put you on the top of the list for people to die" you laughed and he laughed too.
" well I guess we know where I'll be" he chuckled and you swatted at his shoulder, causing him to laugh.
" but really" you speak up and he chuckles more.
" I can't tell the future babe, but I do hope to still be with you" he says and you look at him. You guys stare at each other until Keith presses his lips to yours.
* Present day*
You and Keith are sharing a kiss when the song ends. You guys maybe getting old, but at least you can say you made the most out of life. Rockin and Rolling with the one and only Rolling Stones.
