" Jim where are we going??" You pout.
" just wait and see babe" he chuckled at your squirming.
" you've been saying that for a while now" you state and he pats your knee.
" don't worry about it y/n. You'll love it" he says and continues driving. You kept looking at the houses go by. Los angles was quite a big city and with so much love to give. When Jim told you to get in the car, you were expecting to leave this place, but you didn't.
" here we are babe." He stated. You looked around at the beautiful scenery of the Hollywood hills. Soon Jim parked his car and the two of you got out.
" Jim it's beautiful" you said in awe. He nodded his head in agreement.
" I thought you would like it " he chuckled and scratched his neck.
You could see the little houses and the little neighborhood in Laurel Canyon.
" uh y/n. " Jim said.
" yes Jim?" You ask and turn around to look at him. He was looking at his shoes and shoved his hand in his pockets.
" you know, we've known each other for quite a while now, correct?"
" of course Jim" you giggled.
" and you know I love you, right?"
" yes Jim, and I love you too. Is everything okay?" You ask concerned.
" yeah, it's just..." he paused and a wave of fear went through you. Was he leaving or something?
He handed a ring to you. You looked at it confused. It was gorgeous, it looked almost like a promise ring?
" I know we can't really get married right now, but I do know I wanna get married to you later. As much as I don't deserve you, do you want to fulfill my promise to marry you one day?" He asked and you smiled, letting go of a breath you didn't realize you were holding. You nodded your head frantically.
" yes Jim, of course " you smiled and hugged him. He hugged you tightly and kissed your forehead.
" thank you so much babe" he said and slipped the ring on your finger. For now on it was a promise that you would be married to the Jim Morrison...one day.
