Imagine spending the day with your best friend Nick. You were having the best time, laughing, smiling, sharing stories and just enjoying each other immensely. You sat in the car with him parked in your driveway, neither of you wanting the night to end. Music played softly in the background as you leaned the seats back and stared at the ceiling, quietly talking to each other.

"I had so much fun today," you said with a smile.

He turned his head to look at you with a smirk, "Like I said, good times are always guaranteed with yours truly."

"You're so full of it," you laughed as you playfully slapped him on the shoulder and then rolled onto your side so you could look at him, "but I really did though, have a good time that is."

"Me too," he said in a soft voice as he smiled back at you, his eyes glimmering in the dim moonlight that shone into the car.

There was a silence that followed, both of you studied each other, both thinking the same thing, but too scared to say it aloud.

"What shall we talk about now?" You asked quietly.

"Hmm," he said as he thought up something, "what do you want out of life?"

"Everything," you said with a laugh, "I mean I don't want to miss anything, you know?"

"That's quite the wish," he said with a smile.

"Anything's possible, right?"

"I sure hope so," he said as he watched you with admiring eyes.

You smiled back at him, "What do you want?"

He felt a nervous yet excited feeling in the pit of his stomach as he let out a breath before his sentence.

"There's a lot I want too, I suppose," he started, taking his time to word his wish, "but you know me, I take things moment by moment. I can't say what I'll want next year, or tomorrow even, but I know what I want right now."

You felt your face heat up as you listened to him.

"And what do you want right now?"

"You."

He took his time to watch your expression and watch the smile spread across your face before he sat up and leaned over to you. He cupped your face in his hands as he gently placed his lips on yours, and you happily kissed back, reminding him again that anything is possible.
