You woke up with a huge smile on your face. It was the day of your one year wedding anniversary with your husband, Freddie. You rolled over to see he was just waking up.

"Morning, beautiful," he said in a sleepy voice.

You smiled cheekily at him, "Morning, hubby."

He chuckled as he pulled you in to give you a little kiss.

"I take it you're excited for today?" He asked with a smirk.

You nodded happily, "Yep, I sure am."

He let out a laugh as he got up and threw on a nice shirt and a colorful pair of pants to match.

"Let's get going then," he said with a wink.

You spent the morning getting ready for the party, decorating, cooking and making sure everything was perfect. Before you knew it, it was already 7pm and guests were arriving left and right. The house was packed with dim lights and dancing people all over. The music was good and quite loud, highlighting each move of the night with the sounds of guitar solos here and there. You were milling around your guests, attempting to say hi to everyone and you began to realize you'd hardly spent any time with Freddie. Just as that thought crossed your mind you met his eyes. He was smiling at you from across the room, watching you as you walked through the crowded house. You strolled over to him and he held out his hand as your favorite song came on.

"Happy anniversary," he said as he pulled you in and began to sway to the beat with you.

A smile tugged on your lips as you rested your head on his shoulder and continued to dance with him.

"Happy anniversary," you whispered back in a happy voice.

You felt him squeeze you in response as he hummed the song in your ear quietly. You felt giddy as you thought about the rest of your life with him and many more nights and dances like this one.
