Chapter 15

When Carter had woken up from his slumber, he was a little sobered up from last night but his head was pounding in pain, feeling like he was having the worst headache of his life. He slowly raised himself to sit up in the bed with one hand on his head, closing his eyes tightly.

While Carter was trying to figure everything out, he saw that he was in an unfamiliar environment. He didn't know where he was at all. "Where the hell am I?" Carter questions to himself, looking around before slowly standing from the bed, almost falling back onto it because all the blood rushed to his head when he stood up.

The closest thing to come to mind was that he had broken into someone's house and was invading someone's private property. It wouldn't be the first time something like this would have happened.

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit" Carter quietly says to himself hurrying out of the bedroom where the brightness from the hallway hurt his eyes. It was so dark in the bedroom, Carter didn't even know how bright it was outside of the bedroom.

It didn't seem like anyone was in the house, not that Carter bothered to try looking. If he really did break into someone's house, he didn't want to be caught. He managed to find the door and left the apartment.

Meanwhile with Jake and Nate, they were still in Nate's tree house when Nate had woke up. When Nate woke up, it was to his surprise that Jake was already awake, just staring out the window of the tree house at the blue sky. "J-Jake?" Nate says in a tired tone, rubbing one eye as he sat up straight.

"Awake?" Jake questions, now turning his head to Nate so he was looking at him while talking to him.

Nate smiled lightly before answering "yeah, I just woke up...what time is it?"

Jake pulled out his phone from his pocket, saying that it was five in the morning before Nate almost started freaking out. "We're going to be late for school!" Nate says, instantly getting out of the tree house while Jake watched Nate scurry out with a confused expression on his face.

Jake followed Nate who was now running inside the house to see all the lights were still off in the house. He followed Nate like he was a puppy to watch what he was doing and why he was going so fast. School didn't start for another two hours, so Jake was confused on why Nate said they would be late for school.

Nate instantly went into the kitchen, going into the fridge while pulling out the milk and eggs, placing them on the counter before going to a cupboard and trying to look for something. It looked like Nate was making breakfast.

Once Nate found what he had needed, he looked back at Jake who was now staring at him with no expression on his face. "Can you go wake up my little brother? His bedroom is the second room to the right down the hallway." Nate asks, pointing to where the hallway was and Jake nodded meaning okay.

Jake walked down the hallway, following Nate's instructions. He opened Nate's brothers bedroom door and poked his head inside. He observed his surroundings before entering the room and walking towards Nathan to see he was still sound asleep.

Jake stared at Nathan with his classic 'emotionless expression.' He brought one hand down and shook Nathan's shoulder agressivley to get him to wake up.

"Leave me alone Nate" Nathan says in annoyance, slapping what he thought was Nate's arm away.

Jake continued to stare down at Nathan, not saying anything. He then brought his hand back to Nathan's shoulder and shook it once again.

Nathan was now annoyed. He opened his eyes and turned his body to face who he thought was Nate, but was surprised to see it was Jake. "Y-You're..." Nathan says, still shocked Jake was in his house. He thought after the party his older brother went to, Jake would have ditched him for someone cooler, but he was mistaken.

"Up" Jake says in one word and Nathan instantly stood up. He bowed when he stood up, apologising for slapping Jake's arm.

Nathan and Jake then walked to the kitchen where they were watching Nate make breakfast. Nathan could tell Jake was confused about what was going on and decides to explain "Nate's making breakfast. Ever since we were little he's always been making breakfast, lunch and dinner for him and myself. Our dad's not really ever home so Nate kind of takes care of things around the house. I try offering help but he always insists on doing everything." Nathan explains, bringing one hand up and rubbing the back of his neck.

Nate faintly heard mumbling coming from behind him and turned around. He looked stressed before putting a smile on his face and asking "Nathan, can Jake borrow some of your clothes for today? It'd be a bother for him to go back to his own house and get changed, it'll just make him late."

"I don't really mind, I'm going back to my bedroom though." Nathan mumbles before turning around and shuffling his way back down the hallway to get to his room.

"Yah! Don't fall back asleep!" Nate calls out to Nathan, but the only response he got was the door being closed behind Nathan.

Jake on the other hand walked up to Nate, going to the sink and washing the potatoes that were in there. "O-Oh Jake you don't have to do that..." Nate says, sounding a little stressed because he started off his day so late.

"Help...you..." Jake replies, not looking at Nate and continuing to wash the potatoes before peeling them.

Nate looked at Jake for a moment before smiling, looking back down at whatever he was doing.

Max and Ryan were both sleeping completely naked in Max's bed. Ryan rolled over, spreading his one arm across Max's naked chest. Max looked down at Ryan, asking "you just woke up?"

"Yeah..." Ryan says in a tired tone, smiling a little. "Can we just stay like this for a little while?" Ryan asks, his eyes still closed as he kept his arm where it was.

"I don't care." Max says, reaching his arm to the side drawer next to his bed and grabbing a joint along with his lighter before lighting it.

Max started to smoke, puffing the smoke up at the ceiling as he watched it evaporate away. Ryan opened his eyes when he smelt the disgusting smell and sighed. He looked at Max's body and lightly dragged his fingers over the  scars, bruises and burns that ran across it. "I have to go home soon..." Ryan says, sounding upset that he had to leave the comfort of Max's embrace. He never thought in a million years he would say this, but he felt safe with Max.

"Then go home." Max says, a harsh tone being spoken.

Ryan was hurt with the tone Max was using and sat up, making a face because his bottom hurt, but looked at Max seriously. "Why do you sound like that?"

"Like what?" Max questions, sitting up along with Ryan, before blowing smoke into his face.

Ryan coughed when the smoke was blown in his face before clearing his throat and explaining "it sounds like you don't care!"

"Well...I don't."

"You don't care...then what was all that yesterday?! What was all the kissing and hugging...and..." Ryan stopped himself there, not wanting to say the rest. He bit his bottom lip and looked down onto the bed sheets as he gripped them tighter in his clenched fists.

"I was drunk." Max says nothing else before putting the joint in his mouth again.

"That's all you have to say...that you were drunk, and that's why you did everything you did." Ryan questions, you could hear how hurt he sounded in his tone of voice. He sounded broken.

"What do you want me to say? You knew I was drunk." Max says, getting annoyed with the way Ryan was being.

Ryan glared at Max before standing up and grabbing his clothes, putting them on in a hurry. He didn't care if his butt hurt. He wanted to get out of Max's house as soon as possible.

"Ryan...Ryan come on..." Max says, watching Ryan put on his clothes.

"No, obviously you don't care about me. I'm leaving Max." Ryan says, now storming out of Max's bedroom and leaving his house.

Max watched Ryan walk away and sighed deeply, saying "shit" to himself in a mumbled tone before running his fingers through his hair.

Kevin and Jackson on the other hand were woken up by a knock coming from Kevin's bedroom door. When Jackson heard the knock he instantly sat up, his heart pounding like crazy. Kevin slowly opened his eyes and groaned, having to get up and unlock the door.

"Wait, Kevin..." Jackson says, scared that when Kevin unlocked the door it might be his stalker.

"Don't worry Jackson, it's just the maid." Kevin explains, unlocking the door and opening it. The maid then walked inside with a tray of food in hand and was surprised to see Jackson.

"Oh, I'm sorry young master. I didn't know you had a friend over. Do you want me to tell the chefs to make another serving for your friend?" She questions, putting the tray down on the coffee table in Kevin's bedroom before looking back at him.

"No, it's fine." Kevin answers and the maid bowed to him, meaning okay before leaving the room and closing the door behind him. "You can have my breakfast, I'm not hungry anyway." Kevin insists before walking into his closet to decide what he was going to wear to school.

Jackson on the other hand walked towards the tray of food and was astonished with how good everything looked. It looked like a five star breakfast you would have at a fancy hotel. "And he doesn't want any of this?" Jackson thought to himself before picking up the chopsticks and digging in for himself.

Just the flavour of the food was savory itself. Everything he ate tasted so rich it would just melt in his mouth, he felt like he was in heaven with every bite he took.

When Kevin walked out of the closet with all his designer clothes on, he looked at Jackson with clothes for him held around his arm. "You can get changed into these. I'll just let you use some of my school things so you're not missing anything." Kevin insists, bringing the clothes to his bed, laying them down for Jackson to take and get changed into.

"Are you sure you don't want any of this? It's really good!" Jackson questions, pointing down at the breakfast he was eating. Jackson had almost finished everything on the tray, but was willing to share what little was left of it.

"I don't usually eat breakfast, I'm fine." Kevin replies, now walking to the other side of his bedroom where his backpack was to organise everything that was in the biggest pocket.

Jackson's eyes followed Kevin before finishing the breakfast and putting on the clothes Kevin had put out of him. It was a perfect fit, not to mention Jackson had never put on clothes that were this expensive in his whole life.

"You ready?" Kevin asks, looking at Jackson who was now dressed and Jackson nodded meaning yes. "Then let's go" Kevin says, already walking towards his bedroom doors to leave the room.

Once Jackson left Kevin's bedroom, he was surprised. It looked like he didn't throw a party yesterday night at all. The house was spotless and clean. "The maids did a good job" Kevin says in a comment under his breath, observing the carpet he walked on. Once getting to the main floor,  he walked towards the front door where his chauffeur met him.

"Are you ready to go to school, sir?" The chauffeur asks, opening the door for Kevin to leave the house.

"Yeah, we're also driving my friend to school as well." Kevin explains, pointing back to Jackson with his thumb from over his shoulder.

"Of course, sir" the chauffeur says, opening the car door for the two boys to get in. Once Kevin and Jackson both got into the car, the chauffeur closed the door behind them and went to the front where he started driving to school.

Meanwhile at school, Todd was still a little hungover from the previous night, but of course girls were surrounding him. None of his friends were at school yet, or he at least couldn't see Carter for that matter.

While scanning the hall like a hawk, trying to find his group of friends, or for anyone he knew so he could find an excuse to get away from all the girls that were trying to talk to him, that's when he locked his eyes on Jacob.

Jacob was at his locker, taking his English binder out of his locker to put inside his backpack. Todd then walked up to Jacob, leaning against a locker as he says "I didn't see you at the party yesterday."

Jacob looked at Todd before looking back down into his locker, rummaging his other binders to make it look like he was busy when in reality he had already got what he needed. "Well, I was there."

"You were?!" Todd says in surprise, then continuing to say "you should have come up to me and said hi."

Jacob was quiet for a moment, staring at the binders in his locker before saying with some attitude "well maybe I would have if you weren't making out with a different girl every five seconds." He says before slamming his locker and turning around, walking down the hall.

"Hey, hey Jacob!" Todd exclaims, running to catch up to Jacob and walking beside him. "Why're you so upset?"

"I'm not upset" Jacob retorts, continuing to look forward as he made his way down the hall.

Todd stopped in his tracks and grabbed a hold of Jacob's shoulders so he could stop walking as well. "I know you're upset Jacob, I can hear it in your tone of voice. What are you so upset about? Because I didn't notice you at the party?" Todd asks, you could see he was genuinely confused and concerned.

At the same time the bell rang for class to start and Jacob pulled himself away from Todd. "I have to get to class...I've been skipping too much." He says, now walking away from Todd to get to his first period class.

Hey guys, thank you so much for being patient and keeping up with this story! I might be changing the model for Ryan, so at one point if you go back to Ryan's profile his model will probably be changed to a different person. Who do you want to see more of in the next chapter?
