I walked outside and saw my parents sitting down. "What's the matter sweetie? Why aren't you with your friends?" My mom asked. I prepared to say what I needed to say. I took a deep breath and got ready to hear the worst. "Mom, Dad, I need to talk to you. James and the guys want me to go on tour with them." I sighed and awaited their answers. "Riley, you know we trust you. That's why we're saying... yes. But we need to know some information first." My dad said. I sighed a sigh of relief. I can't believe they were going to let me go. I should be so much more excited but I'm nervous. What if something happens? My mom's voice broke me out of my thoughts "When does the tour start?" "July 1st. And we'll be home on November 25th." I replied, fiddling with the pockets on my jeans. "That's not too long." My dad said. My mom nodded and I looked over at them. "Is there anything else you need to know?" I asked. My mom asked for a phone number she could call and I gave her Kirk Hammett's phone number. "You can call Kirk if anything goes wrong. I know that doesn't sound too comforting, but it's something." "I'm happy for you. I'm glad you get to spend time with your friends." My mom said sweetly. My dad followed it with "I'll miss you honey. Call us every week!"

I went back inside to meet the guys with a beaming smile. "So what did she say?" James asked with a serious expression. "She said yes!" I smiled happily and he hugged me. The others were happy for me too. We all shared a moment and spent the next days preparing for the tour.
