Levi's POV

I hum and wipe my hands on my frilly pink apron Eren bought me for my birthday. Dinner is almost ready. Thank god Eren should be home from the station any time now. Tapping my chin, I set out 5 plates. Didn't Armin and Mikasa say they were coming over for a visit?

I pull out my cellphone and punch in a number putting it to my ear, "Hey okay so you guys are on the way? Thank god okay. Yeah. Uh huh see you soon Armin."

I let out a sigh of relief and open the oven a little to check on the salmon steaks. My mouth waters. It's been so long since I had a reason to cook a big meal like this but after all it is a special day for my special man. Clicking my tongue, I open the fridge and look at the galaxy decorated cake one last time. Armin's bakery skills really do come in handy he did a wonderful job.

The doorbell rings moments before Mikasa and Armin let themselves in, "hey shorty I swiped your extra key last time I was here and made a copy."

"Are you Kidding me give me it right now AND TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES DAMN IT!"

Armin jumps and sets his shoes by the door quickly. Mikasa does the same before tossing me the housekey. She's letting her hair grow out again after her latest donation it barely reaches the top of her ears. Armin still looks like he did last time I saw him almost a year ago. Same height. Same build. Same cheeky grin plastered on his face and splatters of paint from whatever project he has been working on.

He smiles and washes his hands thoroughly, "I'll put the salad and stuff on the table okay?"

I wave him off and put the salmon steaks on the table before walking to the window to watch for the familiar red truck.

His Titan pulls into the driveway and I flip off the lights hiding behind my black recliner. There's a slap and Mikasa yelps.

"Don't touch that cake before he sees it i spent 6 hours on that Mikasa!"

The door knob turns and the door swings open and Eren walks in Allen runs in and rubs against his legs. Picking up the now fat cat Eren steps inside before we all jump out and yell Surprise!

Armin flips on the kitchen light revealing the dinner I worked on all day and I grab Eren's arm pulling him aside. The guest of honor looks up from his book and we all smile.

"Is.....is this for me?" he looks at Eren and I and we both nod.

Eren's POV

I smile as he runs into the kitchen, "YOU MADE ALL MY FAVORITES. Wait, is this gonna turn out like when Mr. Flippers went to fishy heavenMr. Eren?"

Levi chuckles and I shake my head, "no everyone is okay," Levi hands me an envelope and I walk up to him after putting Allen down, "it means you get to start calling us mom and dad. Here see for yourself."

He grabs the paper from my hands and reads it his green eyes sparkle, "Really!?"

I take off my hat and put it on his head before picking him up, "welcome to the family Alex Jaeger."

Levi smiles and pushes everyone towards the table, "now come on we need to eat before it gets cold."

He doesn't have to tell us twice as everyone sits and digs in.

Alex's POV

It took me all my life a whole 7 years but I finally got a family!

After dinner I help clear the table, before Aunt Mikasa turns off the lights again. I get to sit in dad Eren's big chair as the light some candles in a cake on the counter.

When they set it down I clap, "I get family and a pretty cake on the same day?! Isn't that spoiling me? NO WAY IT'S SO PRETTY IT'S THE GALAXY RIGHT!"

Uncle Armin ruffles my hair, "yes it is."

I blow out the candles quickly and smile as mom Levi starts cutting the cake and putting pieces on 5 new plates.

As he is putting the rest of the marble cake back in the fridge daddy Eren whispers in my ear, "watch this."

Eren's POV

When Levi walks back over and sits everyone starts eating their cake.

I hum quietly, "Armin this cake is amazing you really have a gift. What do you think Levi?"

He nods and a smile creeps onto Alex's face as I carefully start picking up my piece, "it really is good coconut I had you all wrong."

Armin and Mikasa start glancing at me, "thank you Levi I'm uh glad my work is appreciated."

Mikasa starts nodding happily and looking between my cake and Levi. Armin's eyes widen like he's silently begging me not to be a suicidal bastard.

Levi eats, "I think I'm even gonna get another piece after I finish this one."

I smirk, "here have mine."

With that I squish my purple and blue piece of cake into Levi's face making sure to smear it all over. Everyone bursts into laughter as the shock sets in and Levi's face hardens. The laughing stops instantly.

Levi glares at me, "let's see if your police training has paid off. You have a 3 second headstart."

I stand so fast my chair falls over and I scramble away, "OSHIETE!"

I barley lock the door before Levi throws himself against it, "LET ME IN YOU SHITTY BRAT!"

Alex's POV

Auntie looks at me, "remember never repeat anything your mother says okay?"

I nod, "what about dad?"

Uncle looks in the direction of their room nervously, "because there's a good chance your daddy won't live to see tomorrow."
