Flashback

Somewhere between 2018 to 2019 in Los Angeles...

"Hey babe, did you find the baby monitor yet? I can't find it-" Kai asks as he walks into their bedroom.

"BECAUSE I'M TERRIFIED!"

He sees Clarissa sitting on their bed, holding one of the baby monitors.

"You are the...actual devil. I mean...every story of good and bad, throughout history, throughout time, says you are the embodiment of evil. And how am I, Chloe Decker, a nobody...suppose to deal with that? ...But...But then I came back. And... And I saw you. I really saw you. And remembered how you really made me feel. And I realized, Lucifer, you're not that guy."

"No... What if I am that guy?"

"You don't have to be. You could change."

"But what if I can't? Could you accept me like this?"

"I... Oh... You have no idea how much I want to. I do. I'm...trying."

"But could you?"

"I don't know."

"...Then I have my answer... It also shows you wouldn't be able to accept Clary or my grandchildren."

"Lucifer-"

"Go."

Kai goes to take the baby monitor from Clarissa and wipes away her tears. "Looks like I accidently left the other baby monitor back at dad's place." He brings her into a hug and kisses the top of her head. "It's okay."

She shakes her head. "No, it's not... It's not okay!" She says while sobbing.

After a while, he manages to calm her down.

"...I have to go see her."

"Babe-"

"There's something I need to say to her and it can't wait."

"...Okay... Want me to go with you? I can take the kids to dad, they will cheer him up."

"Umm, I'm actually going over there after I talk to Chloe. Is that okay?"

"It's fine." He kisses her forehead. "You sure you don't want me to come?"

"I'll be fine... I love you."

"Love you too, baby."

Later, Clarissa arrives at Chloe's home and knocks on the door. Chloe opens the door and is surprised to see Clarissa there. "Clarissa... Come in."

"You sure about that? Aren't you terrified?" Chloe gives her a confused look. "Kai accidently left one of the baby monitors at my dad's place... I heard you and my dad's conversation."

"...Everything?"

"Everything."

"...Please, come in."

She goes inside and both women walk go to the living room.

"People who knew about my true identity? My cousins and my aunt? Not once did they ever try to kill me."

"Clarissa, what you heard-"

"Are you afraid of me?"

"No!"

"But yet you're afraid of my father."

"After what had happened with Pierce, can you blame me?"

"I get it... I know that feeling of being afraid... For seventeen years, I was living a human life. But in reality, I'm the daughter of the devil... My father wanted to protect me from those who would use me for their own gains or as a weapon against him. Because of that, I was scared... Scared of what would happen to my family if that were to ever happen. That's why I kept my mouth shut... I had a peaceful life all thanks to my dad until these vampire brothers showed up and ruined everything. I found out that even vampires, werewolves and witches even existed and because of all the drama that came with them, my whole life got turned upside down... But despite everything, I'm still me. My dad is still my dad. Kai is still Kai. Maze is still Maze... My dad never lied to you and I never lied to you... He told you there are three people that he would never lie to. My mom. Me. And you... You know that my dad would never hurt you." Clarissa's eyes glisten with tears.

"...I'm sorry."

Clarissa's tears begin to fall. "How could you do that? To him? To me? I only got to see my father a few times every year of my life. When I my mother died, he dropped everything to be there for me. He didn't care for the consequences. I lost my aunt Carol, my mother and my pathetic excuse of an ex-boyfriend! I can't lose my dad too! I told you this because I began to see you as a mother! You know the thing that terrified me most was losing my father! How could you do that?! To him?! To me?!"

"Because of you, I couldn't do it!" Chloe begins to cry.

"...What?"

"I thought of you. That's what stopped me... The time we spent together, I began to see you as a daughter. I remembered the times he was with me, with you, with Kai and the kids. The Lucifer from the stories is not the man that I know. The man that I came to know is a good man. The man that I fell in love with... But seeing his true face and the face that I know, it's just..."

She sighs. "...I think we need to spend some time apart." 

"Clarissa, wait-"

"We both need time. It's going to be a while until I can trust you again and you need to figure out what you want... If you can't handle it, then it's fine. We'll go our separate ways... But if you can, I would like that...very much."

Clarissa leaves and Chloe sinks down to the couch, covering her face as she sobs. Clarissa arrives at Lucifer's penthouse and sees the twins sitting with their grandfather, Charles hugging the right side of him while Charlotte hugs his left side. Mattie sits on Kai's lap and Kal is in the playpen. Kal giggles after notices his mother. Kai goes over to Clarissa while holding Mattie.

"You really didn't think you were going to leave us out of this, did you?"

She gives him a sad smile. "...Thank you." He wipes away her tears and kisses her forehead. 

"Mommy, grandpa is sad."

"I know, sweetie." She caresses Mattie's cheek and then walks over to her father and the twins.

"...Dad?"

Lucifer unwraps his arms from around the twins, stands up to hug his daughter.

End of Flashback

Clarissa wakes up and notices Kai not next to her. She sits up and sighs. "...Why did I dream of that?"

She goes downstairs and heads to the kitchen, seeing her husband and father making breakfast.

"The two of you in the kitchen together again?"

"Making sure that my grandson has the heartiest breakfast. You're eating for two!" Lucifer says while flipping pancakes. "I've made your favorite, blueberry pancakes! Kai, how are the banana muffins?"

"Done!" Kai takes the muffins out of the oven and places them on the counter. "The banana muffins are Mattie's favorite. We also have the apple turnovers for Lottie, the blueberry ones for Charlie. Beignets for Lee. Dad is making Kal a cheese omelet. And everything else is bacon, hash browns and sausage." 

"...Don't you think you guys made too much? The breakfast that you made yesterday took up almost the whole kitchen."

"Baby, you know that me and dad are an unstoppable force in the kitchen. And we're celebrating! Right?"

"Right! Just getting another grandchild, is making me even more excited!"

"By the way..." He turns to Lucifer. "...How is it when you guess the gender, you always turn out to be right?"

"Who knows? I just have a talent for guessing correctly. Except that one time with them twins, I was half right. I'm guess a boy and when the twins were born..." He sighs. "Charles came out and my little girl was still in pain. It turns out there was another one which was..."

"Charlotte."

"Sneaky little thing. She was hiding behind her brother the entire time."

"What can I say? Being sneaky is one of my talents."

The adults scream and Clarissa turns around to see Charlotte standing right behind her, unable to contain her laughter. Charles, Mattie and shaking their heads. Kaleb is holding Kailee who is trying to rub the sleep from her eyes.

"What is it with you being sneaky?!" Clarissa asks Charlotte while poking her.

"Not my fault I inherited grandma Elle's sneakiness!" Charlotte still laughs trying to dodge her mother's poking attacks.

"Sorry, mom. Tried to stop her."

"That's alright, son. You're back to being my favorite twin."

"Hey!"

As the three bicker, Kaleb walks into the kitchen with Kailee still in his arms. "Look, Lee. Dad and gramps made beignets! That should help wake you up!"

Kailee yawns. "Thanks, daddy. Thanks, grandpa."

Lucifer kisses her cheek. "You're welcome, sweetie."

Mattie joins them in the kitchen. "All this food... Okay, so what's the occasion?"

"Why does there have to be an occasion to feed my beautiful children? Damn, your mother and I make some good-looking babies."

"Swear."

"Sorry, sweetie." Kai lightly pinches her cheek. "We can't show off our awesome cooking skills?"

"Whenever you two are in the kitchen together, that means we're celebrating something. So fess up."

"Sorry mini version of me but no can do. That surprise is being saved for the twins birthday."

"Tell us."

"No."

"Tell us."

"No."

"At least tell me."

"No, Lucy."

"Oh, come on!"

Flour is thrown at Mattie's face, shocking the rest of them. She looks next to her to see Charles as the culprit. Clarissa and Charlotte try to prevent their laughter.

"...Did you just throw flour at my face?"

"Yep. So what are you going to do about it?"

Everyone is quiet for the next moment until Mattie gets a shovelful of flour and throws it at Charles.

"FLOUR FIGHT!" Kaleb puts Kailee down and gets flour for himself and her.

"Wait, let me get in on this too!" Lottie says as she joins the flour fight.

"Don't you ruin the breakfast we prepared! Kai, shield the food!"

"Right- Ahh! Lottie, how could you?!" Kai asks Charlotte after she throws flour at him.

"Payback for the pie fight from last time!"

"Charlie, your twin is attacking me!"

Clarissa laughs watching the flour fight between her family and begins to reminisce of a fond memory.

Flashback

"How is she doing? How are my grandbabies?" Caroline rolls her eyes as she can practically hear Lucifer pacing.

"She's still unconscious and the kids are okay. I distracted them with their toys."

"Make sure Lottie doesn't get ahold of the rattle, she will hit Charlie with it. And make sure that he doesn't get ahold of the blocks, he will throw one at her. Also make sure that my daughter is comfortable! Put her on a couch or the bed but make sure she is warm as well! What else-"

"You worry a lot."

"Well, what do you expect Caroline? My child has gone into someone's own personal hell to free Bonnie, the dumb brother and a flirty potential psychopath!"

"Uncle Luci... Did you really just call Damon the dumb brother?"

"Am I wrong? Damon is the dumb one while Stefan is the dumbest. Because the majority of their dumb decisions had to do with a certain doppelganger."

"...Maybe you're not completely wrong. But anyway, everyone is fine. Clarissa is on the couch, I put a blanket on her. The twins are okay, they've done nothing but hug and play with each other... But have they really done those things to each other? From what I've seen, they cry if they get separated."

"Believe me, I've witnessed it first hand." He sighs. "You wouldn't remember but when you all were babies, Clarissa managed to tie you and Ariel together with the curtains."

"Really? Clary really was a mischievous baby back then, wasn't she?"

"Perks of being the devil's child, I assume- Are the babies crying?! What is the matter?!"

"They're not crying. They're squealing because they're hugging each other. Want to see?"

"Quickly!"

They both change to facetime on their phones and Caroline crouches in front of the twins, holding up her phone so Lucifer can see them.

"Kids, look who it is! It's your grandpa!"

"Charlie! Lottie!"

Hearing the sound of their grandfather's voice, they immediately look up at Caroline's phone and they both squeal excitedly at the sight of him. Caroline smiles and puts the phone down in front of them.

"Lu!" Charlie tries to touch his grandfather but realizes he is unable to.

"Pa!" Lottie claps.

"Charlie, you can't get to me through the phone... Charlie, calm down."

"Charlie, it doesn't work that way."

Charlie continues trying to get to his grandfather through the phone but soon becomes frustrated and throws phone through the window.

"My phone!"

Clarissa is back in the prison world, at the Salvatore home with Bonnie, Kai and Damon.

"You're back! Are you hungry? Anything you want. Pancakes? Spaghetti? Steak? Or maybe you're craving something sweet? Maybe cake? Any flavor you want! No, wait! Do you want pork-" 

"Shut up." Damon smacks the back of Kai's head. "Clary, how are you here again?"

"My grandfather sent me here."

"...You mean..." Damon points up. "The big guy up there?"

"Yep. At least I'm sure he did."

"...Why?"

"Because of him." Clarissa points at Kai who looks confused to what they're talking about.

"And what would be so special about this guy?"

"Well, I was able to make him reveal his true desire so he's not immune to that but...he doesn't look at me "that way"."

"What way?" Bonnie asks confused.

"You know. "That way". "Like I'm a piece of meat or however you want to say it."

"I never looked at you that way."

"Yes you did and I wasn't even using my powers then. So did Stefan, Tyler, Elijah... Pretty much every guy that was in Mystic Falls at the time. None you just never realized it."

"...Damn."

"Now you just need the blood of a Bennett witch and what was it?"

"The ascendant!" Kai answers.

"The ascendant, thank you... But what are you guys waiting for? You have both, don't you?"

"Yes but we were waiting for the eclipse. You see my dad channeled from an eclipse to trap me in here. So we need that to get out. And the eclipse happens to be today, so-"

"Your dad put you in here? And why are you tied up? Did you attack them again?"

"No, I didn't. After you left, I've been on my best behavior. Your buddies were trying to make sure that I didn't get out."

"You two were planning on leaving him here?"

"You want him out there in the real world?!"

"Bonnie, I need him there. I need to know what my grandfather's intentions are."

"Clarissa, he murdered his siblings. He's crazy!"

"Oh... Are you really going to stand there and act like you're not just as bad as him? To be honest, you're worse. You didn't try to kill your brother multiple times? Actually you did kill many members of your family, did you not? You didn't turn Vicki into a vampire? You didn't kill Mason? You didn't cause the death of Shelia?" Bonnie looks away hurt, pained by the memory. "You didn't kill Jeremy when Elena rejected you? How many times did you kill Ric? And what about what you did today?"

"...What are you talking about? I haven't done anything today."

"May 10th, 1994... You told me that from the fifties to the nineties, you had your humanity off. So what did you do?"

Damon remains silent.

"See, you don't even want to say it. But I'm pretty sure that it had something to do with Stefan since you were just trying to make him miserable. I could keep going on and on naming all the awful things that you've done but the list is very long, Damon... So don't even try to act like a saint."

"...You know you're pretty hot when you get angry."

"Kai, do you want me to get the fire poker?"

"I don't mind getting tortured by an angel such as yourself."

Clarissa rolls her eyes. "My time's up. So he better be with you both when you all get out of here. And bring him to the grill."

"Wait!"

"What is it now?"

"Did I mention how beautiful you look today? You're even more beautiful from the last time that I saw you."

Clarissa blushes but covers it up quickly then disappears. Damon had notice and glares at Kai. "Would you stop flirting with her, already?"

Clarissa awakens back in the real world, seeing Caroline sitting on the couch across from her.

"How things go?"

"They're on their way back..." She says while sitting up and soon notices a broken window. "What happened to the window?"

"Ask your son."

Clarissa looks behind her and Charlie glances at his mother with clueless eyes.

"Oh, don't you even try to act innocent!"

Later, Clarissa has the twins sitting in their car seats while they all sit in a booth.

"How is it you get more beautiful every time I see you?"

Clarissa looks up to see Kai standing before them. "You're here."

"I'm here." He gives her a genuine smile and notices the twins. "Whose kids are you babysitting?"

"Not babysitting. They're mine."

He quickly sits down, across from her. "...Wait... You're a mother?! And married?! I mean not that I mind older women but I've never been with a married woman before-"

"Yes, I'm a mother. No, I'm not married. Also, you're older than me. And who said that we're getting together?"

" Do you not feel the chemistry between us?"

"Do you want to feel what it's like to get stab with this fork?"

"Been there, done that. Now is the dad around?"

"Their father isn't in the picture and I like it to stay that way. His family's drama is more dramatic than mine and I don't want my children involved in any of that... Charles, Charlotte. This is Kai."

The twins giggle and clap.

"...So may I ask why the father isn't around?"

She sighs. "...Let's just say he did something horrible, leading me to break up with him and he chose to sleep with one of my best friends just to get back at me."

"Sounds like a dick. Where does he live? I'll kill him."

She grins. "You kinda remind me of him a little bit."

"Are you saying I'm a knockoff version of your ex?"

She giggles. "You're going to have to get in line. Anyway, you can't kill him, if you do it results in many deaths, including my cousin and close friends."

Before he can reply, the waitress comes up.

"So now that your date's here, what can I get you guys?"

"I'm actually her boy-"

"Don't even finish that sentence. He's not my date. Two sodas please-"

"But-"

"Neither of us are drinking. Baked potatoes for my babies... I'm guessing you are fan on onion rings?"

"How you'd know?"

"Just had a feeling. Burger and onion rings for him. And a turkey club for me."

"Got it."

"Your name's Olivia Parker?" Kai asks noticing her nametag.

"Yeah. I'll be back with your orders."

Clarissa waits until Olivia walks away to speak. "...Your sister?"

"Yep. Haven't seen her since she was a kid."

"...Did you try to kill her?"

"Yeah and I failed. You saw where I ended up. Liv, Luke and Jo are the only ones who managed to get away."

"Hmm..."

"What is it?"

"...Nothing."

"...By the way, what did you do to me before? Something about desires?"

"Oh, I just made you confess your true desire. I can make people tell me things. It's an ability that I have."

"...So are you like a vampire?"

"...Do I look like someone who would have pointy teeth and sink them into someone?"

"No, you look like an angel. Like someone sent you to me."

"Someone did, my grandfather. And you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I'm more than just an angel..."

"Well then, what are you?"

"I'm someone you never thought existed. What I'm trying to understand is why would my grandfather send me to you? Just who are you?"

"Kai!" The twins say and Lottie starts making grabby hands.

"Uh, why are they saying my name? And why is that one trying to grab me?"

"Wow...they must really like you." She lifts Charlotte out of her car seat and passes her over to Kai.

"What are you doing?!"

"Come on, she wants you to hold her."

"Why?!"

"Kai!" Lottie squeals.

He sighs and takes Lottie from Clarissa. Once in his arms, they look into each other's eyes.

"Look at you... You look more attractive holding a baby."

"...She has your eyes." She pats his cheek then rests her head on his shoulder.

Kai looks at Charlie who begins to reach out for him as well. Clarissa passes him over to Kai as well. Charlie places his small hand on Kai's cheek. "Kai!"

Clarissa smiles at the sight before her and for the first time, Kai began to felt what true happiness felt like.

End of Flashback

Arriving at the school, Lucifer notices Kai looking at a photo of himself and the twins when they were babies on his phone. Lucifer then looks at Clarissa and the twins as they exit her car and smiles.

"You know something? I couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law. A man who treats his wife and children like they're his entire world. But mostly someone other than Lucinda who understands my jokes."

Kai chuckles. "...Thanks, dad." He says before getting out of the car.

As Mattie gets out of her mother's car, someone comes up next to her and kisses her cheek.

"Morning."

"Annie, my love." Mattie wraps her hand around Annie's neck and brings her into a kiss.

"I'm standing right here."

The two pull away and Mattie smirks. "Leon, my prank testing subject!"

"Mattie, don't even think about it. Now where's my girlfriend?"

"Over there." She tells him as she points to Lucifer's car. "Before you go, give me my hug."

Leon rolls his eyes and gives her a hug. "You're lucky that I love you so much."

"Lucinda!"

After Leon walks away, a young boy runs to Mattie and hugs her.

"Well, aren't you popular?"

Mattie groans. "Look child, we've talked about this. Save this unpleasantness for my baby sister." She lifts the child up and makes him stand next to Kailee. "Lee, you be good today."

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?"

Mattie smirks and lightly pinches Kailee's cheek. "Good girl. Love you."

"Love you too, big sis."

Annie ruffles the boy's hair. "See you later, Will."

The couple holds hands while going into the school. "Why must your brother always attempt to attach himself to me?"

"You're the one who taught his bully a lesson. Like grandfather, like granddaughter, don't you think?"

Mattie shakes her head thinking about her grandfather and aunt Trixie.

Charlotte heads over to her grandfather's car and kisses his cheek. "See you later, grandpa. We're still meeting up at mystic grill after school, right?"

"Of course! The piano will be there, just get your singing voice ready!"

She giggles and turns around to be greeted by Leon.

"Hey you." Leon kisses her cheek and wrapping his arm about her shoulders. "Mr. Morningstar."

Lucifer sighs. "I guess I'm just going to have to wait until you're married to my beautiful Lottie to get you to start calling me grandpa."

She begins to blush. "Grandpa!"

"What? The boy already has mine and your parents' blessing!"

Kaleb comes up to them and stands next to Charlotte. "See you later, gramps." He then mouths to Charlotte so that their grandfather doesn't see, "You lucky bitch."

She giggles and Leon smirks while rolling his eyes.

"Kaleb, are you saying something about me?"

"Nope, grandpa. My little brother is just cranky. Don't worry. We'll find you another boyfriend, Kal."

"What happened to the last one? I liked him!"

"Sorry gramps but it's not my fault Miguel couldn't keep up."

Before Clarissa can enter her office, an arm wraps around her waist and spins her around. She smiles at the culprit and places her hands on his shoulders.

"You're setting a bad example to the children."

"Actually, I'm teaching them how to treat their current or future partner like a king or queen. Make sure you eat the fruits that I packed for you."

"I will."

"And don't pick up anything heavy."

"I won't. Jeez, you won't even let me hold an empty box!"

"You're carrying KJ  in there, I'm taking the necessary precautions."

"KJ?"

"Kai Junior."

"We're not calling him that, we already named Kailee after you."

"My baby girl... I can never forget when she took her first steps, how she walked towards me."

"No, she didn't! She was going for the candy that was right next to you!"

"Babe, I'm pretty sure she walked to me. The candy was just a distraction."

"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that." She says as she rolls her eyes.

"Now can I get my morning kiss?"

"I already gave it to you during breakfast. Then I gave you another one before we left the house. How many more do you need?"

"Till I'm satisfied."

"Well, that will take the whole day then."

"Have you met you? You beautiful, gorgeous, sexy-"

He is cut off when she presses her lips against his. He returns the kiss eagerly and tightens his grip on her waist. They hear students passing by saying "ew or aww!". Their moment is soon interrupted when by a certain tribrid.

"Mrs. Parker?"

He groans and drops his head on her shoulder. "Just when it was getting good."

"One moment, Hope." She lifts his head up. "I'll give you a lot of kisses later okay? Now get to your class and teach the kids how to kick some butt."

"Yeah, yeah... One more?"

She giggles and kisses his cheek instead.

"You tease."

"I love you, Kai Parker."

"And I love you Clarissa Parker. Hope you're ready for your training session, Ms. Mikaelson." He says as he leaves.

"Good morning, Mrs.-"

"Hope."

"...Good morning, Clarissa."

"Come in, make yourself comfortable." Clarissa opens the door so that Hope can enter first. Clarissa goes to sit at her desk as Hope sits on one of the chairs in front of it. Hope soon notices the family photos on the desk and the walls.

"These pictures weren't here last time."

"Uh... I was just getting some new frames for them."

Hope nods. "I see... You all look really happy. Especially you and Mr. Parker."

"We are. But since my husband and father act so childish most of the time, it's like I'm raising nine children instead of seven." Hope giggles. "Now, you have your schedule and you look great in your uniform. I'll be escorting you to your first class. Let's go."

The two get up and just when Clarissa puts her hand on the doorknob, Hope speaks.

"I don't know why you and my dad broke up but...seeing you with Mr. Parker, I can't imagine you with anyone else, not even my dad... What made you want to be with him?"

"Hmm... When I first met Kai, he really bothered me. I couldn't understand why this guy would be brought into my life."

Flashback

"I can't believe that I agreed to this."

"Kai, we're doing this. There's some things that you need to know."

"Can't you just tell me?"

"I would but it's best you and your siblings hear it from the man himself."

Clarissa kicks down the door. "You just kick down the door?!"

She shrugs. "Why not? Your father doesn't deserve the courtesy." She says before walking in.

"...My kind of girl." He quickly follows her.

"Who are you? How dare you just barge-"

Joshua stops talking once he notices Kai coming up next to Clarissa. Jo is shocked and frightened while Liv and Luke are confused.

"H-how did you get out?"

"Didn't I serve you guys at the grill once?"

"Olivia, you knew he was back and didn't say anything?!"

"Don't yell at her!" Luke defends his twin.

"Yes, you did. Hello again, Olivia."

"Do you two not realize who this is?!"

"It's...it's Kai...."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Clarissa eyes begin to glow red and something unexpected suddenly appears...

Blue flames surrounded Clarissa until a hellhound appears. Everyone except Clarissa and Kai scream while it growls viciously at Joshua. Kai looks amazed by the hellhound then looks back at Clarissa.

"Good girl." She pets the hellhound. "Allow me to introduce Miliani, my hellhound. Just to warn you all, she's very protective of me so I wouldn't get on her bad side. You all are going to behave, especially you Joshua."

"Can she get even more attractive?!" Kai mutters to himself.

"Just who are you?! Were you the one who let him out?!"

"Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. Clarissa Morningstar. And no, it wasn't me who let him out. You see what had happened was, my soul somehow was sent to the prison world that you created and I met your son. I believe that it was grandfather's doing but the reason for it? Don't know, still trying to figure it out myself."

"Do you have any idea what you've done by bringing him here?!"

"He's not the only one who has faults. What about what you have done? What about you, Jo? I can excuse Liv and Luke since since those two were only three years old back then."

"What do you mean?! He killed my siblings!"

"And aren't you partially responsible, Josette? You didn't turn your back on him when he needed you the most? You saw how your coven treated him and at some point, you did the same. You can't think for yourself? You didn't think it was wrong? You all made him an outcast. Why did you become a doctor? Was is because you regretted your actions towards your twin? People aren't born monsters, they're created by others around them. So piece of advice, Jo. If you ever plan on becoming a mother, don't ever love one child more or treat one better than the other. Love them equally. Treat them equally. If you don't, then who knows? You might create another Kai."

"He has no place in this family, woman! He is an abomination!"

"...Just because your son was born a little differently, does not give you the right to treat him so horribly. At the end of the day, he's still your son. You should love him regardless. If you hadn't done those things, he wouldn't had become the way he did and those children wouldn't had died... But there's more to it isn't it?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Tell us. What was your true reasoning for neglecting your son?"

Joshua begins to feel as if he's in a trance. "What... What are you doing to me?"

"Come on! Tell us, you know you wanna!"

"...He was meant to be the next leader of our coven."

"...What?" Jo, Liv, Luke and even Kai are all shocked by what Joshua just told them.

"I didn't understand how someone like him, someone who held no magic of his own could lead our people. I could not allow that to happen so that's why I had more children to prevent him from being the next leader. That's why I treated him like he was nothing more than trash. But to be honest, I hardly care for any of my children. All I care for is the preservation of the coven."

"...Wow... I guess we know whose not father of the year." Clarissa says since the siblings have been left speechless. 

"What did you do to me?"

"All I did was make you admit your faults. It's one of the abilities that I have."

"You bitch-"

Miliani growls at Joshua causing him to back away.

"Dad... How could you?" Liv asks with tears in her eyes.

"How could I what?! I've kept this coven going!"

"But at what cost?!" Luke yells.

"Miliani, you can go back now. Thank you." Clarissa pets her again before she disappears. "While you guys are done having your family feud, I'm going to go. I'll be waiting in the car, Kai."

Clarissa leaves and as she almost reaches her car, Kai comes up behind her and grabs her hand, forcing her to turn around.

"What are you?"

"Daughter of the devil and princess of Hell. How did you forget that? Now go back inside and figure out what you're going to do about that poor excuse for a father." 

"No, what I mean is I don't get it! Why you? I'm suppose to be a sociopath, I wasn't burned by things like guilt or love! So why were you brought into my life?!"

"Now you understand how I feel. I don't understand what my grandfather is trying to do by bringing us together."

"Ever since I met you, the first time I laid eyes on you, my heart was beating so fast that I thought it would explode. And I held the twins, I felt calm. When I'm with you and the twins, I felt nothing but happiness. Just looking at you, I see nothing but you. I feel like I could die if something horrible happened to you. This isn't right, I don't do feelings!"

"...I get it now."

"Get wh-"

Kai is cut off as Clarissa pulls him into a kiss.

End of Flashback

"He was the first man to have really looked at me like I was his whole world. Like he would give up everything for me. When he told me his true feelings of how I made him felt, it made me realize that I had fallen for him."

"So my dad didn't look at you that way?

"...Your dad was attracted to me at first. He loved me but he still had a lot of issues, especially trusting people."

"...When we came here, I thought you and my dad would get back together. That I would get a mom... But seeing you with Mr. Parker, I can see how happy he makes you... I hope that I can find someone like that."

""Thank you, sweetie... And you will."

"Hope?"

"Yes?" Hope asks after turning back.

"If you ever need someone to talk too, you can always come to me. I've been told that I'm a pretty good listener."

"...Thank you."

On their way to class, the twins notice a certain hybrid heading to the direction of their mother's office.

"Hey, Mikaelson! Where do you think you're going?"

Klaus turns around and sees the twins. "Just wanting to have a chat with your mother."

"About what?"

"My daughter's progress and if there are other students like her in the school."

"Well with my mom being the headmistress, she's awfully busy. So we'll answer your questions. How is Hope doing? Fine. And if you mean tribrids or such, then yes." Charlotte tells him.

"Really? ...Are you tribrids as well?"

"Quadbrids."

"Lottie-"

"What? He wants to know. Right? You thought when came back here and brought your family with you, that you all would still the most powerful beings here. Am I wrong?"

Klaus remains silent so she continues. "Ah, judging by your silence, I'm right!" She giggles. "My family is more powerful than your family could ever hope to be. How does it feel, not being able to be in control? To not get what you want? My mom... I don't know how you could just give her up like that. But what can you do?" She shrugs. "It's your loss."

Klaus takes a step forward. "A loss that can be easily gained again."

Charles laughs. "You think that our mom would leave our dad for you? After everything that you did to her?"

Klaus feels a sudden pain in his heart when hearing Charles calling Kai his dad. Charlotte takes a step forward so that she's standing directly in front of Klaus. 

"I see what you're trying to do and it's not going to work... I heard about what you did to my parents on their anniversary. For my mom's sake, I've been keeping my anger in check. But try to come between my parents again and I will rip you apart."

"Kids."

The three turn to see Kai and Alaric approaching them.

"Is there a problem here, Mr. Mikaelson?" Kai asks as Charles pulls Charlotte over to him.

"No. I was on my way to see Clarissa but Charles and Charlotte were telling me she was busy. They were gracious enough to answer my questions themselves."

"What can I say? They got that kindness from their mother. "But me? They got my charm and being so lovable."

"Really? That's funny because they remind me a bit of myself and my family. It's like I'm looking at versions and Clarissa and myself."

Kai goes to stand in front of Klaus and leans forward to say something. "Let's get something straight. My wife. My kids. Know your place."

The twins smirk, having heard what their father said and noticing the angry look of Klaus' face. Kai steps away from him and wraps his arms around the twins, leading them away from Klaus.

"Did you honestly think she would be sitting around waiting for you? She's moved on with her life, I suggest you do the same. Don't come back here trying to ruin everything as you always do." Alaric tells Klaus before walking away.

Leon is hanging out with his friends until he notices Clarissa leaving her office. He goes to catch up with her.

"Leon."

"Hey, aunt Clary. Where are you going?"

"Just going to visit aunt Carol."

"Well, let me go with you. 

"Shouldn't you be in... Oh, that's right. You only have three classes."

"Benefit of being smart and able to stay in control."

"Okay, let's go."

Later, they arrive at the Mystic Falls cemetery and head to Carol's tombstone. After placing the flowers and having a small chat with her, they take their leaves and run into the noble original.

"Clarissa."

"Old friend, aunt Clary?"

"Elijah Mikaelson." He responds before Clarissa can say anything. "And you are?"

"Leon. Now if you don't mind, we were just leaving."

"Actually, I was hoping I could speak with her."

"We have nothing to talk about."

"Clarissa, talk to me. You were always able to talk to me about anything."

"Until you abandoned me."

"...Clarissa-"

"Leon, go wait for me over there. Okay?"

"Are you sure?"

"I'll be fine, sweetie."

"...Alright... But don't hesitate to call for me."

"I won't."

After Leon is at a further distance, Clarissa speaks again.

"I'll tell you the same thing that I told Rebekah. I understand he is your brother but you two just took his side and left me behind. I haven't seen or heard from either of you in seventeen years. You weren't there for me like Kol and Finn were."

"I was ashamed of my brother's actions."

"You mean how he slept with Hayley to get back at me for breaking up with him? Which was his own fault! Do you see where I just left from?!" Clarissa points at the cemetery. "I just visited my aunt Carol. You remember her, don't you? She was like a second mother to me. And regardless of me begging Klaus not to kill her, he did it anyway! Right in front of me! Then because of the breakup and Caroline telling him off, he almost killed her too! Not once did you bother to check in on me!"

"...I'm sorry." Elijah says trying to hold back his tears.

"You told me that I was family... But you and Rebekah just walked out of my life without a word, leaving me behind. I looked up to you and because of everything that had happened, I had lost all respect for you."

Clarissa walks away and stops when Elijah calls out to her.

"Are your eldest twins-"

"They're mine and Kai's. We're done talking."

Flashback

On the day and Alaric and Jo's wedding, Clarissa finds Kai looking at the altar.

"Imagining that being us up there?"

"Yep."

"We can't steal Jo and Alaric's spotlight."

"I know... Jo would kill me." She giggles. "How's devil junior doing?" He rubs her belly and feels a kick.

"Do you have to call him that?"

"...Have you met you?"

 "Not my fault I have the devil's genes."

"...Still can't believe Jo even invited me to this. I can't even believe that I'm even of thinking of getting married to you someday."

"You got a second chance with your siblings and a chance to have a love of your own. Charlie and Lottie adore you so much and even claimed you as their father."

"All thanks to you."

"Can't take all the credit."

"Have to thank the big guy up there, huh?" He points up and then sighs. "...I can't wait to be your husband and the father of the many devil babies that we will have in the future."

Clarissa laughs and lays her head on his shoulder. "I love you."

He kisses the top of her head. "Love you too."

End of Flashback

During their walk, Leon takes off his jacket and wraps it around Clarissa's shoulders.

"You should take better care of yourself."

"You know that I can't get sick, right?"

"Can you just let me be a gentleman?"

She giggles and pinches his cheek. "Lottie sure is lucky to have someone like you... You've grown up to become a good man, Leon. Your dad would be proud."

He smiles. "Thanks... You okay, aunt Clary?" He asks as he wraps his arm around her shoulder.

"I'll be fine. I have of all you guys remember? Anyway, have you decided on colleges?"

"...I sent in my application to UCLA."

Clarissa's eyes widened. "Los Angeles?!"

"...Do you miss it?"

"Everyday. Honestly, Kai and I have thought about moving back there. Maybe after Charles and Charlotte graduate? I don't know. Ric and the kids-"

"Will still support you. Everyone in the school including myself, love you guys. You know that right?"

Before Clarissa can reply, someone steps in front of them.

"Clarissa."

"...Are you serious?"

"Aunt Clary, would this happen to be him?"

"Unfortunately, yes."

"Here we go, another one."

"Move along, boy. I need to talk to Mrs. Parker here."

"Watch how you speak to him!"

"Anything that you say to her, you can say in front of me."

"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."

"That's because I didn't say it."

"...Klaus Mikaelson but you already seem to know that... Now why is that?

"...Leon. You actually knew my dad though... Tyler Lockwood."

"...So you're the son of that foolish man?"

"Hey, watch it!"

"My dad may have made some pretty dumb decisions but so have you. This phenomenal woman standing right in front of you? If you asked me, that was your biggest mistake letting her go."

"How dare you-" Klaus vamps speeds, grabbing Leon's neck and pins him to the wall.

"Niklaus, don't you dare!"

Before Clarissa can do anything, Klaus is suddenly shot at. He screams in pain and falls to his knees, letting Leon go in the process. Clarissa checks on Leon and looks over at the shooter. She is shocked to see who it is.

"Nice shooting, mom."

"Mom?! Trixie?!"

Someone walks up right next to Trixie.

"Looks like the big bad puppy is causing trouble again."

"Aunt Maze?!"

So there you go! I have finally brought lesbian/bisexual/gay characters into one of my stories! How did I do?

I also want to ask, do you guys want Leon to only be a werewolf or a hybrid? Who should his mother be? I'm thinking of creating another oc or letting you guys audition one.

I wanted to introduce a hellhound at least once, I'm still hoping that the Lucifer tv show will do so in the next season or two. What did you all think of it?

What do you think of the kids so far? I'm trying to add more moments with them. I did try to add Lizzie and Josie in this chapter, but I couldn't fit them in. They'll be returning in the next chapter or two!
