TRAILER 2:

[All you see are 1's and 0's.

It's never-ending, the walls expanded beyond what's capable. There's no ceiling, there's no floor.

The numbers are moving, and you realize that there are no walls either.

They don't exist here. There's nothing but those two numbers-

The green, digital realm starts to shake.

And the scene bleeds into a scenery more familiar.]

"Can't catch me, sucka'!" he yells, sprinting through the hallways, wood thumping each step he took. Feeling cocky, the little boy looks back at his friend –still chasing him, still behind him- and blows a raspberry at other boy.

"Slowpo- AH-!!"

That moment of confidence had been all his friend needed to tackle him to the ground. Thank goodness the wooden flooring had been waxed, splinters were NOT fun (as they would soon discover in the coming years).

"Got 'cha, Mitch!" Jerome exclaims happily, still pinning the red-clad boy to the floor. "Who's the sucker now?"

"Ger'rroff-!" he says, not answering the question and trying to push the other boy off. "Oomph- you're heavy!"

"Am not!"

"ARE TOO!"

"AM NOT!"

"ARE TOO!"

"AM NOT!"

"ARE TOO!"

"AM NOT!"

"AR-"

"MITCHELL!! JEROME!!" the two boys stiffen at the stern voice of Mrs. Hughes. "YOU KEEP THAT RACKET TO A MINIMUM; CONNOR'S ASLEEP!!"

"Sorry, Mom!"

"Sure thing, Mrs. Hughes!"

[An abrupt scene change occurs.

They break off.

Some of the numbers begin to flash red, then they move from their proper and original place. It's chaos, the world seems to tear itself apart.

Yet somehow you hear the little ones' voices echo lightly.]

"Wanna play some Minecraft?"

"You bet' cha!"

[Two blurs appear from the code, versing with what appears to be two blue weapons. You can't see them clearly, though one of them seems to have a glow come from them. Maybe from their face? You can't tell, they are moving faster than the eye can see. The sparks from their weapons clashing the only indication of their movement and position. The numbers are the only source of light in this void.

More numbers start flashing red.]

A quiet hum from the computer tower is the only sound in the room, aside from Mitch tapping impatiently on the computer desk.

[They stop.

One of them has been stabbed. It seems as though, they're melting? Yes, melting. Bleeding to 1's and 0's-

The other realizes their mistake too little, too late.]

"Ugh, finally. That took, like, forever."

Mitch clicks on the familiar dirt block shortcut with an excited smile as Jerome looks up from the bed, eyeing the monitor suspiciously .

[The system turns completely red.]

The computer spazzes out and he didn't have the time or the reflexes fast enough to react quickly to Jerome's warnings-

Electricity courses through his body and Mitch screams.

(It's the worst sound Jerome has ever heard, and he doesn't want to hear it ever, ever again.)

[Only one remains.]

_____

[The scene gradually changes, as the text "1X years later" appears on the screen.

It's an editing room, so unlike what you've seen before. There are no PCs anywhere, just a little mechanism at the top of every desk there. It's but a mere on-off switch shaped like a hinge placed right at the middle of the top side of the sleek, metal desks.

A checkered-wearing brunet is at one of the desks, the switch having been turned on. A holographic screen in front of him, all too reminiscent of how a monitor would look like and work like. It's not blue, unlike old sci-fi movies where they'd often depict them as such. Looking closer the switch actually had two cameras-like gadgets built in. One for where the monitor part would be projected, and one for the keyboard.]

"Hey Mitch?" Rob starts, calling attention of the younger brunet who lets out a quiet hum of acknowledgement while he continues to edit his videos. "I know this is a pretty weird question but..." Rob's voice quiets at the end, unsure whether or not he should continue. "You know what, nevermind."

Mitch quirks an eyebrow and stops his editing for the moment. "Rob, you can't just leave me hanging like that. What is it?" Suddenly, he sports a teasing grin and aims it at the other. "Is ol' Robby having lady troubles? Need your main man Mitch as your wing man?"

"No no nonono-!" He splutters, waving his hands in an attempt to dissuade him from the idea. "It's nothing like that!"

"Oh," Mitch pouts, which is then replaced by an 'innocent' smile. "Is it a guy, then?"

"NO!!" Rob shouts, clamping his hands over his mouth quickly after. Mitch looks taken aback and the older sighs, massaging his temples. "It's nothing like that."

"So, what was it? Your question? 'Cause I still have a vid to edit over here."

He scratches the back of his neck. "Well, it's just...I've never heard you tell anything from your childhood. Well," he pursed his lips. "at least, I haven't heard stories coming from you directly. Only Jerome seems to remember those memories, and you seem just as interested when he mentions those kinds of stories..."

Mitch stays silent.

"I guess, what I'm getting at here is: did something happen? Back then?" Rob grimaces at the quiet brunet in front of him. "You don't have to answer if it bothers you, though. It must be sensitive and personal-"

"No," Mitch says too quickly. "No, it's...it's fine." A sad smile finds it way on his lips. "Yeah, something did happen. I can't remember anything before 200X..." He pauses briefly, the tone in his voice at the end going soft. "I think I was 11 back then. Don't know what happened either, no one would tell me." Yet, ever since, he's been weirdly and annoyingly paranoid when it came to anything dealing with electricity...

All Rob could manage was a somber sounding "Oh..."

Mitch then grins at him. "Well, enough of that sappy, sad stuff! I've got a video to edit and you have to make one with Lava P!" He stands up and begins to lead Rob out of the room. "Off you go, Flower King! Your Plebston awaits!" Both run off to Preston's office, laughing all the way and seemingly forgetting their earlier conversation.

Had they looked back, they would've seen the computer Mitch had been using let out a spark.

*oh, and quick reminder that these are just TRAILERS and like trailers, some edits will be made to the actual storyline itself and whatnot despite what info the trailers have already offered, though so far i've only seen one inconsistency in chapter 1 and the trailers for now, hehe ;3C
