This story is full of drama, fantastical situations (which may sometimes be tough to digest) and lots and lots of SPICE 🌶🌶🌶

Kindly do not expect any historically relevant information. This is based in an imaginary land, where small clans (ruled by powerful Chieftains) have significant autonomy. The land is ruled by one King. But he seldom interferes in the workings/ sovereignty of the clans.

I have not based this in any particular time period. You can keeep your imagination open.
(But if you still require an idea- imagine the early 5th century Europe...)

Word of caution‼‼‼
The female lead of the book is not the most likeable character.
It may be possible that you find it hard to sympathise with her.

Rayna's character is that of a woman who is adamant about what she wants. She is a smart and fierce woman, who doesn't shy away from claiming what's hers; even if her actions lead to others' misery.

In simpler terms, she could very well be a villianess of another story. (Depending on how you look)

Now, as I've already stated, this story will not be adhering to the laws of the time period. I am not going to dwell upon the customs and religion etc. (This is a complete U-Turn from what I usually do in my stories)
It is a fictional land, and I intend to make full use of my literary freedom.
