I sat opposite her in the carriage and tension built a thick wall between us making me hesitant to question her. She sat there fidgeting with her dirtied red dress and staring out the window looking distressed but I fear it's for different reasons. I've left behind Evan and my group to go on with the hunt without me. I had to get her out of there, I had to save her from a fate worse than death. Now I sound like my father, one of the council members of our werewolf hunting clan. He would be so disappointed in me now for leaving my team, who knows what he would do if there was the slight suspicion Luna was one of them.

"Talk to me Curtis before I explode." She said her dark eyes meeting mine and she exhaled a nervous breath. No fangs in her mouth.

"You told me to be silent." No bite mark on her neck. Just a bad nightmare. A subconscious fear rising to stir me.

"I have changed my mind. Silence is the last thing I want."

"What do you want me to say?" No claws. No fur. Still looks human.

"Something distracting. I have such a headache..." Her hand touched the side of her head and when she pulled it back her eyes widened in shock. "I'm bleeding." I slid across the seat so I was directly in front of her and took her face in my hands. Blood was pouring out from her head staining her hair and I tore off some of her dress to press the fabric against it.

"We'll have to head to the doctor."

"Just take me home and we'll send for one."

"You're not in a state to wait for help. We're closer to Crowly's home..."

"I am not going back in there."

"He won't be there that I can promise you."

When I thought she would fight me she surprised me by worrying. "I hope everyone is safe Curtis, I can't bear the thought that..."

"I'm sure everyone is fine, the guards will be after them by now."

"If the guards were enough the wolves wouldn't be a problem by now." She snapped. I almost smiled at how her brain works, the words that slip out of her mouth always stun me. "And if there are lots of loup-garou out there I doubt killing these two is going to save us the pain, what if they have friends or, what are they called? Their wolf groups?"

"Packs." I answered. She doesn't know that simple fact so she can't possibly be werewolf.

"If they have packs and we just kill them and then the pack attack for revenge." Her face started paling and she groaned in pain. "My head."

"Stop the carriage." I ordered.

"Why?"

"We're here." I opened the door and stepped ready to help her. She glared at me from the far side of the carriage clasping her hands in her lap. "Don't be difficult." I ordered sternly ready to haul her out by her forearm.

"Not by any circumstances, ill or well am I to ever enter that..." I sighed exasperated closing the door and walked around to the other side. I swung open the door and grabbed her by the gown. "You'll tear it!" She whined. It's already a vomit worthy garment but still I enlightened her.

"Then you better get moving."

"You brute." She followed me out. She closed the door and stared me down looking deadly adorable. "Let it go."

"Not until you're far from the carriage."

She scowled. "I could just as easily run away." She paused when I elevated my brow. "Probably should have kept my mouth shut."

I leaned forward making her breathing hitch. "I would beat you in a race any day."

"Challenge accepted." She turned and tried to run but I grabbed her waist drawing her to me.

"Honestly Luna? You're being ridiculous!" She turned around in my arms furious. "You cannot force me to go inside!" Luna shouted at me still fighting. Suddenly her eyes rolled back and she fell limp in my arms and despite my worry for her I am somewhat relieved. I picked her up bridal style and holding her all the way past the gates to the door.

The distant howling called out to us as I locked us inside.

I'm afraid that I am not myself right at this very moment.

Because I'm out in the middle of nowhere once again and I can't control my body to see if I am me or not. I remember fighting against Curtis about entering the satan's den then I grew weak, felt heavy. Now here I am glaring at an empty woods listening to someone's uneven breath and heartbeat.

"Hello?" The body I'm in decided to glance up, I've never felt so afraid of the dark. The night sky never looked more gloom-ridden. Clouds morphed into swirling ugly hands moving closer to grab the moon and hide her.

The wind purred adding to what could end up being a horror. Suddenly I heard my bones crack, I felt my claws dig into the dirt and my face grow a snout with a full set of fangs. My senses heightened at unbelievable levels that I grew awed by this person and envied them.

So this is what it feels to be a beast.

No wonder they're so proud. So self absorbed. Think they're kings.

My chest rumbled and a growl escapade my muzzle scaring me half to death.

I can feel the anxiousness, the desperation to claw at something, the hate, the resentment upon the chosen prey. It was all rather overwhelming. I was simply consumed in someone else's hate for Alpha expect to this monster Alpha had a different name. Visions of golden eyes, sinister smiles and blood pouring out of a woman's body made me whine and retract back into the darkness. But I was drawn back to look through the eyes again when I saw the mirror image of myself growling at me from a spot in the trees. Trees so tall they were holding up the sky.

Imagine knocking one down and crushing Alpha's body. Not my thoughts. It's his.

Alpha looked brutal, practically sadistic and it's amazing how well he can show that emotion with a wolf face. He towered over us, standing on thick furry legs and large feet. I have never noticed how dreadfully big his feet were. His body is exceptionally large, his hands, those large clawed paws stayed at his sides, his chest heaved up and I noticed more muscle on him. It's almost as if under the muscle there's just more muscle.

The body I am interfering with stood on its own hind legs almost reaching Alpha's terrifying height. Before another second was wasted. Alpha attacked.

We didn't dodge, we should have dodged, we were too slow and our-its was messily scratched by his claws.

We whined in pain but lashed back quickly and he just as quickly grabbed our arms so we grabbed his and roared down at him. We tried to force all our strength to push him down but he was stronger, he threw us back so our head smacked into the trunk of tree. I heard a snap.

It was just the tree however I didn't relax, my heart. Our hearts are racing.

Alpha snapped his fangs onto our leg and we cried slashing our claws against his face. I recognised the wolf-like cry.

When I realised I was Sam I woke up screaming in terror covered in my own perspiration.

"Luna. Luna it's okay... You're safe!" Someone held me down by arms and I fought against them screaming and tried to lean away.

"Let me go!" I demanded slapping away someone's hands.

"The doctor is coming now!" A feminine voice said.

"Bring him in here hurry!"

I can't see anything! So I kept screaming for Sam. "He's hurt. He-he hurt him." I sunk back into Sam and watched him limp as he tried to stay strong. "No stop it! Sam run away! Run! SAM RUN!!" Alpha snarled biting at the air to show off his vicious power. To intimidate us. Ready to kill us. "Alpha! Alpha please stop!" I cried feeling my eyes drowning in tears but still able to see through Sam's. I kept screaming. I kept trying to warn them. Trying to convince them. I shouted as loud as I could but neither of them flinched. Alpha's jaw locked onto Sam's neck and the whimpering made my heart lurch. Then something golden roared and leaped out of the trees causing a scare for both the wolves. Alpha let Sam go, left him bleeding and growled at the lioness who roared back.

I felt Sam's pain, I felt his regret for not being stronger, he's calling himself a failure.

"You're not a failure Sam." I whispered watching his vision go blurry. "You're not." He whimpered as he watched the lioness chase Alpha away.

My only chance of vengeance and I let him slip from my claws.

Sam. I called out him. He relaxed closing his eyes. Sam stay awake.

I can't.

Sam.

Luna.

Everything is going to be okay. I assured and found myself slipping away back to myself. I repeated out loud. "Everything is going to be okay."
