Athelaide's Point of View

My family and I had spent an entire two weeks just having fun and catching up on everything that had taken place at home after my absence.

I still couldn't figure out why my father hated me and neither did my mother.

I was currently playing in Damon's hair, while Madeline troubled Xavier. 

Over the few days that had passed by, Madeline and Xavier had made a connection.

Mother was probably out causing problems with some vampires, because she is a troublemaker.

Maybe that's where I got my devious side from.

So just when I thought that everything was going just fine, it just had to somehow go South.

A vision played in my mind of my father making plans to kill me and to get the rest of my family back on his side.

I froze, taking in what I had saw.

"What's wrong, Kitten?" Damon asked, sensing I had stopped playing with his hair.

Snapping out my little moment, I answered, "oh nothing much . Just remembered something."

"Mmm," he responded, as he shifted his head on my lap, but Madeline was watching me with a curious look.

I knew I had to tell them about this soon since I don't know when father would put his plan to work, so I looked between her and the entrance to the kitchen.

She got the idea as she said, " I'm going to get some water."

I waited a minute before saying, "I'm hungry," as I went into the kitchen to.

I didn't have to call Jonas, because he was already there just eating up all the food in the refrigerator.

"Can you call mother?" I asked Madeline.

I didn't even have to wait for her to reply because, in a flash, mother was sitting on the counter.

"Now what is it?" Madeline asked me, making mother look curious and Jonas stop eating.

I gestured for them to come forward, so that the others wouldn't hear because I didn't want to worry them.

When they were all near me, we joined hands, as I showed them what it is that I had seen.

"Oh." Mother was shocked.

Jonas nearly choked on the food he hadn't finished chewing and Madeline didn't know what to say.

"Well I guess father is coming as well."
