Chapter Six
Xavier's Point of View
I don't for how long it has been since I have been in this paralyzed state. It's like I don't even know my own self anymore. All I see is darkness everywhere that I look.
There is something that is foreign to the rest of my body, running freely through my veins, changing me.
The pain I now feel reminds me of when I had lost my humanity, only now, it has been intensified.
I feel as if a connection is being made in my body, maybe a bond or something, but I feel as is I am being tied to someone and it is quickly draining me of my remaining energy.
I feel as if I have not fed in a while, which may be the reason why my throat is sore and I am so weak.
For once in my life, I am afraid.
Afraid of death.
Athelaide's Point of View
It has been a two weeks since I had bitten Xavier and two weeks of me being stuck in the room.
Now that Xavier was in his room and no one knew what was wrong with him, Rose was in charge and I can't say I am to happy about this.
She has made living here for me horrible. I receive one stale slice of bread and half a glass of water every two days, seeing as she says this is my punishment for getting Xavier sick, but she looks like she is happy that he is sick.
Seeing as she has a different man almost each night in the house, and let me just say, they can get pretty loud.
Anyways, right now, I think it's finally time that I have visited my wonderful, little master just to make sure that the process is going well, and I also have to do one last think to complete his process.
Quietly, I gradually opened the door, and looked in the hallway to make sure that it was empty, before sneaking off to Xavier's room.
When I arrived at his door, I listened to see if there was anyone is his room first, before entering.
There he was.
His body was lying peacefully on his bed as if he was in a dream, but if you observed him well enough, you could clearly see he wasn't.
There were small beads of sweat on his forehead and he was a bit too pale and his entire body was tense.
I went closer to him to observe him further.
I could sense my venom running through his veins, their job almost completed. All that was missing now was my blood.
I cut my wrist with my nails, which is very sharp, and opened his mouth. Then I slowly let the blood drip into his mouth.
Slowly, colour returned to his face and I felt the bond between us being made.
I was so caught up in what I was doing, that I nearly didn't hear the footsteps that was approaching the door and the beating heart.
The door opened to reveal a girl with short black hair and brown eyes. Her eyes widened when she saw me.
"You aren't supposed to be here. I am going to have to tell madame Rose," she said startled, backing away.
"Go ahead," I said, leaving the room.
I think it's about time we resumed our little conversation.
