Chapter Seven
Athelaide's Point of View
I was having a great time just laying on the couch and rolling around all day, like a good pet, when Rose comes storming in.
Her high heels coming in contact with the tiles was just torture to my ears.
"Who do you think you are going and visit my Xavier!" She yelled.
"He is my master to," I said, sitting up.
"Yeah, and how do I know that you are not the one who poisoned him?" She said, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Now why would I do that?" I innocently asked. "He must have gotten sick from seeing you so often. "
"You little bitch!" She yelled, trying to slap me, but ended up falling on the couch.
"I'm more of a cat though." I licked my fingers, before eyeing her up and down.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She questioned.
"Well you interrupted my sleep and cats do love their sleep," I smirked, while playing with my fingers.
"I think it's about time I finished what I started. Don't you?"
Before she could answer, I leaped on her, taking her by surprise.
I began swinging my arms at her, not caring about where I scratched.
When I was just about to begin enjoying this, someone pulled me off of her and threw me on the floor.
"Ow. That hurt," I whined.
"Look what that little bitch did to me! We should return her to the pet store."
"I don't think Xavier would be to happy when he wakes up and finds his first pet missing, now would he?" Damon said, helping Rose sit up.
"Would he what now?" Xavier's voice came from the doorway.
"Look who is finally up." Damon said, while exiting the room.
"Look what your little pet did to my face, baby," Rose whined.
"Looks like I didn't do a good job since you can still see. I should really sharpen up my nails you know." I smirked at her, while pretending to claw at her.
"If you don't teach your pet manners, maybe I will," Rose said, before leaving.
Now it was just Xavier and I in the room.
"What did you do to me," Xavier questioned, while slowly coming towards me.
"Now what do you mean master," I asked, while batting my eyelashes at him.
"Be a good pet and tell me what you did to me," he said angrily, while placing his hands around my throat.
"No you listen and be a good little pet," I said, looking him straight in the eyes.
Slowly, he let go of my neck but didn't break eye contact.
He eyes wondered to my lips and then back to my eyes before he leaned closer to me and before I knew what was happening he slammed his lips on mine .
When he finally pulled back, I realized the iris of his eyes had bits of white flecks in it.
"So I guess you're my little pet now," I smirked.
