Just another day at the pet shop, humans being returned, vampires looking for new pets, just the same old routine, nothing new.

Until Dave, the owner of the pet store, came dragging in a new human.

She had one of the palest complexions, with matching white hair and eyes.

Her clothes were all torn up and she was covered in claw marks.

"C'mon, ya lazy piece of shit," Dave yelled, while tugging on the chain around her neck.

He grabbed her long hair and pulled it hard, dragging her on the cold floor, before shoving her into an empty cage.

Many of the other humans were quiet, observing the newcomer.

She was different from the rest. She didn't fuss about being captured, neither did she try to make a run for it, she just let everything happen.

It was usually the younger ones who would behave this way, maybe it was because they were frightened or they didn't know what to expect, but then again, no one did.

Soon after the mysterious girl was locked in her cage, everything resumed to their normal way.

She just turned her back to the bars and crawled into a little ball, hugging her knees to her chest.

In the cage near her was a blonde haired girl with brown eyes. She was sitting in the middle of her cage with tears streaming down her face.

"Keep it down in there Blondie!" Dave banged on her cage with a stick.

Just then a family of three vampires entered the store. They were looking for a pet for their daughter.

"We're looking for an obedient human, around thirteen years of age for our daughter here," the woman said, while looking around the store.

There were very few younger humans around.

"How about this one. She has manners and is very obedient," he said, gesturing to the girl who was previously crying.

"What do you think?" The man asked his daughter.

"I like her, I like her," she jumped up and down.

"Okay, how much for her and whats her name?" He questioned, looking her over.

"This is Isabel and she costs thirty five thousand dollars, accessories cost extra."

"We'll take her."
"Well then, just follow me. Jack will get your pet ready," Dave said, while leading them to his office.

When he was gone, a tall, dark skinned, muscular man, opened Isabel's cage and pulled her out, bringing her to the back room.

After a couple of minutes, the family and their new pet, Isabel, walked out of the store, the exact same time a tall, mysterious man entered the store with a powerful aura surrounding him.

"I'm looking for a pet."
