Chapter Fourteen
Athelaide's Point of View
Sweat run down my forehead as I tossed and turned in the bed. It has been quite a while since I have had a vision, so my body was a bit unused to it now.
My sister and father were speaking in hushed voices in the hallway as my mother and brother was fast asleep.
"So convince them that she good and then I'll bring her to you?" She asked, an evil smirk on her face.
"She'll never suspect a thing," he laughed quietly, his golden eyes glowing before my sister joined in with him.
I was pulled back out of the vision to my body being shaken a bit too much to my liking, as I saw a worried Damon looking down at me.
"Are you alright? You were shaking and you were really hot," he said, worry written all over him.
"I'm fine, it was just a nightmare," I smiled up at him, as I pulled him besides me as I snuggled into him. Taking in his scent, I tried to remove all thoughts of beheading my sister from mind as tried to get some rest before I confronted her tomorrow.
Damon placed a kiss on my forehead before I was welcomed by the darkness.
Waking up to a sleeping Damon, I made my way into the bathroom as I took a long, cold shower before getting dressed into something I could easily stretch in, before going into the kitchen to eat up something.
Breaking a few eggs into a glass, I let a few drops of my blood fall into it before I mixed it up together and quickly drank it up.
Going into the living room, I began doing a few stretches to make sure that my bones was as flexible as it was supposed to be. I was currently in a head stand with my feet touching my head when Madeline and Xavier walked in.
"What are you doing?" She asked confused, but I saw something pass through her eyes.
"Just doing some simple stretches," I replied, as I came out of my pose.
"You call that simple?" Xavier said, as he walked past me and went to somewhere that I didn't care about at the moment.
I walked up to my sister who seemed as if she was trying to get inside my head. That was her gift after all. She could get into the minds of others and manipulate them.
"Father did always like you and that little gift of yours," I commented, taking a seat on the arm of the sofa as I observed her expression. I could easily tell that she was surprised but she was good at masking her emotions but just not from me.
"What are you getting at?" She placed her hands on her hips. "Are you accusing me of something?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Now why should I accuse you of something that we both know are true," I smirked at her as her eyes opened wide and her mouth dropped.
"I have no idea of what you are talking about," she said, looking me straight in the eyes, just as my mother and brother walked in.
"Bullshit Madeline! You and I both know of my little gift so why bother lying?" I questioned, as she turned to mother to help back her up. "Don't even think she'll help you when I show her the truth," I smirked at her.
"What's going on Madeline?" My mother asked her, curiosity written all over her face as she approached her.
"Stay out of this mother. This is between Athelaide and I," she said, cracking her knuckles.
"Oh you bet it is," I said, as my fangs came out.
