Lovella held multiple logs in her hand, ignoring wells requests to help her. The two had decided to gather logs and twigs for a fire when it goes night. Lovella remember a few things from pike: how to make a fire being one of them.

Lovella let out a puff of air as she dropped the logs to the ground, batting her hands as she turned to wells with a smile. "You think that's enough twigs?" She asked.

Wells went to reply but was cut off by Murphy's voice. "You find any water yet?" The two turned to see Murphy looking wells up and down.

"No, not yet." Wells sighed as Lovella crossed her arms over her chest, frowning at Murphy, who was going out of his way to cause hell for wells. "Me and lovella are going back out if you want to come." Lovellas eyes widened as she turned to wells, slightly nudging him as she shook her head.

Then the two turned to the drop ship as they read, 'first son, first to dye.' Lovella bit on her tongue, concealing her laughter as she turned to wells. She saw his frown and dropped the smile, feeling bad for her new friend.

"You know, my father, he begged for mercy in the airlock chamber when your father floated him. And your father happened to be there too." He turned to lovella, making the girl lower her head, wells noticing her upset state as he glared at Murphy. "Jaha and Kane all over again." Murphy looked at the two as lovella furrowed her brows.

"What our fathers have done, doesn't define us, Murphy. We couldn't control what they did." Lovella quickly defended herself and wells, grabbing wells arm and leading him away from Murphy and his friends. "It's 'die', not 'dye'." She added as he turned around, watching the two leave as wells made a comment, making lovella laugh, covering her mouth was they walked away.

Bellamy walked past the two as lovella sent him a small smile, making him send her one back before walking over to Murphy and his friends.

Lovella skipped through the woods, wells jaha by her side. Lovella wasn't letting wells out of her sight so Murphy could start on him for no reason, plus, lovella loved wells company. He was nothing like his father. People hated him for things his father did. But wells was completely different.

The white haired girl stooped in her tracks as the corner of her eye noticed something crystal blue. Her eyes widened as a grin reached her face. "Wells, look." Lovella softly grabbed his arm and pointed to the direction of the river. "Water source." She grinned as she turned to him, scrunching up her nose slightly as wells smiled down at her. "Come on." She giddily pulled him towards the river.

She had never seen so much water in her life. She stared in admiration, crouching down and dipped her hand into the icy water. She let out a small chuckle, turning to wells as she ushered him over. "We should collect this." Lovella said as he walked over to her, crouching down beside her. "Do we have anything in camp to collect some of this?"

"I think." Wells nodded his head with a smile.

"I'll stay here and you can get something to collect the water with. Camps not far from here." Lovella suggested with a shrug, making wells nod his head.

"Yeah." He stood up as lovella sent him a smile, watching as he left, walking through the trees.

Lovella looked back down at the water, twirling her hand around as a smile remained on her face.

She couldn't help but feel there were eyes on her, making her stand up and look around. The mysterious girl from when they landed popped into her head. Lovella wouldn't mind asking her some questions.

And it was as if her thoughts had been answered-rustling being heard in the distance. She quickly turned to the noice, her eyes immediately landing on the girl from before.

Lovella slightly raised her hands, giving the girl a small smile. "Hey, I mean no harm." Lovella said confidently. The girl tilted her head. "I'm lovella. You?"

The girl paused before walking forwards, slightly. "Paisley."

"That's a nice name." Lovella smiled as she lowered her hands. "How are you down here? I thought Earth was inhabitable." Lovella asked.

"You and your people landed in our home." Paisley said with a slight glare.

"Oh, I'm sorry. We didn't know anyone was still alive down here. We wasn't even supposed to land here." Lovella calmly said.

Paisley raised a brow as she stepped closer. "Your ship fell from the sky."

"Yeah, we lived in space for years. But oxygen is running out, that's why they sent us down here." Lovella said with a shrug.

"How many are you?" Paisley asked with a raised brow.

"100, including me. Wait, 101, including my friends brother." Lovella smiled, being her friendly self. "How many people are down here?"

"Too many." Paisley hummed as she tilted her head.

"Oh." Lovella raised her head. "I like your sword." She changed the subject as she pointed at the sword strapped to her hip. "Are you a fighter?"

Paisley looked down at her hip, then back up to lovella. She took note of how lovella acted and the innocence about her. She wouldn't last a minute down here.

"Yes." Paisley nodded her head. "Do you know how to fight?"

"Uh, no." Lovella shook her head. "I was training to be a doctor." She shrugged her shoulders.

"You're a healer?" Paisley acknowledged as lovella hummed. "That's good. But you'll need to know how to fight down here."

"Why?" Lovella raised a brow as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"It's dangerous down here. The commander, Trikru and other clans aren't happy with you being here." Paisley shook her head as lovella frowned.

"What? What's a commander? And trikru?" Lovella raised a brow as Paisley let out a laugh.

"You have things to learn." Paisley nodded her head at lovella. "I can train you."

"Train?" Lovella narrowed her eyes in confusion.

"Yes. Train you to be a warrior." Paisley nodded her head. Then the pair heard walking, making Paisley turn to her. "Meet me here, sunrise. Alone. Don't tell anyone you know about me."

"Yeah, yeah. Okay." Lovella smiled and she nodded her head. Paisley sent her a small smile before quickly leaving.

Lovella watched as Murphy and Bellamy helped people take off their bracelets, one by one. The blonde didn't understand why they were so eager to take them off. Did any of them care about their loved ones on the ark?

"Who's next?" Bellamy cheered slightly, throwing his hand in the air, as did Murphy. Lovella rolled her eyes slightly, watching a girl go towards them and give them her arm. The girl looked innocent, her hair tied half up, half down. Lovella wondered what she got arrested for.

She didn't even realise that wells was now standing beside her, leaning on his non-injured foot. "What the hell are you doing?" Wells questioned bellamy, stepping forward slightly. Lovella kept a firm hand on wells arm, not wanting anything to get out of hand.

"We're liberating ourselves. What does it look like?" Bellamy asked with a small grin.

"It looks like you're trying to get us all killed. The communication system is dead. These wristbands are all we got. Take them off, and the Ark will think we're dying, that it's not safe for them to follow." Wells explained as everyone calmed down.

That made lovella wonder, what did Bellamy do to get on the drop ship? That he was so eager to make sure the ark didn't come down. That her father didn't come down.

"That's the point, Chancellor. We can take care of ourselves, can't we?" Bellamy said smugly as lovella sighed when the kids cheered.

"You think this is a game? Those aren't just our friends and our parents up there. They're our farmers, our doctors, our engineers. I don't care what he tells you. We won't survive here on our own, and besides, if it really is safe, how could you not want the rest of our people to come down?" Wells spoke to everyone, turning around slightly as he looked at all he kids.

"My people already are down. Those people locked my people up. Those people killed my mother for the crime of having a second child. Your father did that." Bellamy pointed at wells with hatred. Lovella stared at the floor, her father also being a reason half of their loved ones were floated.

"My father didn't write the laws." Wells deformed himself and his father.

"No. He enforced them, but not anymore, not here. Here, there are no laws." Bellamy spoke louder as he stepped closer to wells, making the kids cheer. "Here, we do whatever the hell we want whenever the hell we want. Now, you don't have to like it, Wells. You can even try to stop it or change it, kill me." Bellamy smirked. "You know why? Whatever the hell we want."

"Whatever the hell we want!" Murphy started to cheer loudly, making lovella turn to him with an unimpressed look. In all honesty, she wanted to sleep. She was tired but she wasn't sleeping on the floor. Also, she wanted to go see paisley. "Whatever the hell we want!" He repeated as others did so too.

What lovella didn't expect was a thundering noise, followed my droplets of rain. She scrunched her nose up slightly as one landed on her forehead. It was raining and she couldn't help but smile as she looked up. "We need to collect this! We need more water." Wells yelled at Bellamy, over the cheers of laughter.

"Whatever the hell you want." Bellamy answered as wells shook his head, waddling away. Lovella's smile dropped, slightly as she looked over at wells, who was limping over to the drop ship, then she turned to Bellamy, who was already staring at her with wonder. Lovella didn't think twice as she walked over to help wells collect the water.

Lovella carefully walked through the woods, remembering the path. She made sure nobody saw her when she left camp. The sun was just rising as lovella made her way to the river, already seeing Paisley sat on a rock, sharpening a sword.

The girl looked up as she heard footsteps, lowering the mask around her face and her hood. "You made it." Paisley said, half surprised the girl actually showed up.

"Of course I did." Lovella smiled as Paisley stood up. She held a sword in her hand, her sword attached to her hip.

"Here." Paisley handed her the sword. Lovella inspected it as she held it by the handle, finding it slightly heavy. "Hold it with both hands." And lovella did exactly that, her grip on the sword was tight. "Okay, good. Now, just try and swing it, not too fast."

Lovella slowly nodded her head, breathing in as she swung the sword a little too fast, moving her body. Paisley examined her, hands on her hips as lovella looked up at her with a grin.

"Don't move your body that quick when you swing, just your arms." Paisley pulled out her sword as she did a quick example. "Like that."

"Okay." Lovella nodded, adjusting her grip. Paisley watched as lovella moved and swung the sword-better this time.

"That's better, not perfect, but better." Paisley hummed as lovella grinned, lowering her arms. "Now, you need to know how to block an attack."
