FOUR

FOUR

"Why does she keep trying to learn how to swim by just jumping in to the water?"

Pierre Gasly furrowed his eyebrows together as he watched the young girl who was Luisa, cough up a lot of water as soon as her head reached the surface of the water.

"She says that it's the best way for her to learn."

Lorenzo Leclerc chuckled to himself as he watched his two younger brothers cling to the Puerto Rican girl who had once again nearly drowned herself in an attempt to learn how to swim.

"By dying?"

"By throwing herself in to the deep end, literally." Lorenzo laughed, using the very same words that the girl had used merely twenty minutes ago, against her.

"No wonder Arthur likes her so much, they're both stupid." Pierre laughed, his smile beaming as the two Leclerc brothers pulled her back on to the boat.

"It didn't work the first time Luisa, or the second or the third. What made you think that it was going to work the eighth time?"

Charles Leclerc shook his head from side to side as he patted her on her back, just in case that she had swallowed any water and needed to clear her airways.

He was trying not to smile, but it failed.

"Enzo said practise makes perfect!"

"Yeah at swimming! Not at jumping in when you can't swim in the first place!"

"How was I supposed to know that!"

Luisa-Sofia Jimenez Ortiz giggled as she argued with the eldest of the Leclerc brothers, her smile growing as she watched him rub his hand over his face as if he was losing the will to live.

It had gotten to the point where she had started doing it, jumping in to the water, just to see the reaction of Lorenzo and how much he would lose his mind at her behavior.

The answer was a lot.

"You are so stupid." Lorenzo laughed, lifting one of his hands up so that he could ruffle her wet dark brown hair, knowing that it irritated her.

He called that payback for nearly making him have a heart attack about her possibly drowning.

The group that were; the three Leclerc's, Pierre and Luisa sat down together on the deck of Charles' yacht, as they enjoyed the warm European sun with cold drinks in their hands, relishing in the company of the people with them.

"Pierre and I have meetings tomorrow so you'll just be spending time with Arthur and Lorenzo, do you think that you can try and not nearly die whilst I'm gone?"

Charles informed his new little friend, seeing her frantically nodding her head up and down multiple times, a bright cheeky smile on her lips which signalled to him that she was going to do the complete opposite.

"I will do my very best!"

Luisa giggled, her shoulder brushing against that of the youngest of the brothers who also quietly began to laugh.

"We will take her as far away from the sea that we can." Arthur smiled at his brother. "I lost the bet with her that Pierre wouldn't lose his phone so I have to buy her breakfast tomorrow anyway."

"You bet that I wouldn't lose my phone?" Pierre smiled.

"Yeah."

"No wonder you lost Arthur, she took my phone."

Arthur shot his head towards the Latina, staring down at her with his mouth open in shock at how she had managed to trick him.

"The bet is off! No breakfast!" Arthur raised his voice, his tone becoming high pitched as he faked being offended.

"You can't backtrack now! I had a witness to you agreeing the bet!" Luisa lifted her hand to point at Lorenzo, seeing the man slap his hands over his face whilst releasing a small groan.

Charles snickered quietly as he relished in how amazing the summer break from formula one racing had been, and that was only because of Luisa.

Luisa had given the boys so much joy even though it had only been ten days since they had first met her.

She had been with them for just over a week and yet it felt like it had been months, she had made all of them super happy with her stupid ways and her giggles and teasing, that he couldn't quite believe that he had never known her before.

"Your phone is ringing, Lu!" Arthur's voice snapped Charles out of his thoughts, seeing that the girl he had just been thinking about was scrambling to grab her phone, since it was her mother calling her.

"Hola madre, está todo bien?"

Luisa spoke through the phone to her mother, seeing her mothers face smiling back at her which made her face light up.

"Hola cariño, todo está bien. Sólo quería ver cómo estás."

Clarita-Maria Jimenez Ortiz, Luisa's mother, smiled as she saw her daughters face, having missed her in the almost two weeks that she had been away from her.

It had not been the same in the family home without the youngest of the family, and since she was now the only woman in the house, it was lovely for her to talk to her daughter.

"Los chicos son molestos?"

"Tu padre lo es, por supuesto. Pero no, los chicos están viajando a Francia, querían sorprenderte pero sé que intentarás evitarlos."

"Ellas estan viniendo aqui?"

"Si."

"Bueno, adiós madre!"

Luisa hung up immediately, her eyes widening in slight panic at what she had been told from her mother.

Her brothers were travelling to France, which meant that they were definitely going to in Monte Carlo and would try to find her and annoy her.

"Oh shit."

Luisa spoke underneath her breath, with the four boys near her watching her closely to see if she was okay.

"What's the matter, Lu?" Charles and Arthur asked at the same time, worried that something was wrong with the girl in front of them.

"My brothers are coming here, my mother says that it's to surprise me but they're just going to try and annoy me all of the time." Luisa lightly slapped herself to try and wake herself up from the nightmare.

It wasn't that she hated her brothers, of course she didn't, but she had six brothers and every single one of them loved to annoy her and bully her, they always had.

There were four years between the youngest of her brothers and herself and even he loved to tease her, mock her and bully her but she knew that it was all just part of her life as being the youngest child.

But if they were around her new friends, it would be way worse, because she knew that they would try to show off in an attempt to impress them.

"Well, whenever they arrive, we will make sure that you are not found and are hidden." Arthur grinned, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulled her in to his side.

"Yeah, we're not sharing you with anybody." Charles laughed, seeing that the group were all in agreement.

"Do I still get my breakfast?"

"I still can't believe that we managed to lose Enzo."

Luisa laughed as she sat at a table in a small café, opposite that of Arthur who was grinning from ear to ear at how they had managed to lose his eldest brother even though he had been right beside them.

It was as if he had just disappeared.

The pair sat inside the café with a plate of breakfast sitting in front of them with them both having already tucked in to the delicious food which made their stomachs rumble from how amazing it smelt.

"And he calls us stupid!"

Arthur laughed loudly, wrinkles forming around his eyes from how bright his smile was, then again his smile was always bright whenever he was with Luisa.

"I'm not complaining though, I like the fact that he's not mothering me about how I like my toast." Luisa grinned, since she had lathered her toast up with a lot of butter and cheese and knew that Lorenzo would judge her and say that she was heading for diabetes.

"And he would say that we shouldn't be having wine this early in the morning!"

Arthur added, lifting his glass of red wine up so that he could clink his glass with the glass that Luisa was holding, the pair of them giggling together like they were lunatics.

It didn't matter if it was only nine in the morning, they wanted some wine and they got some wine. Besides, it could have been worse, they could have started drinking wine at seven in the morning when they first woke up, but they didn't.

Because they were responsible adults, of course.

"Yeah! And we've got it with food so it's not like we'll feel drunk or tipsy or anything either. We are sensible!"

The two of them glanced at one another before erupting in to loud laughter, having already drank a bottle of red wine and were now on their second bottle.

By the time that they had left the café and found Lorenzo, it was ten forty five in the morning and they had gone through five bottles of wine so they were a little bit drunk.

Just a little bit.

Lorenzo found himself laughing as he noticed how the pair of them were clinging on the others arm as they walked, teasingly offering to hold them both up so that he could walk them back to Arthur's apartment, which would then give them both more than enough time to sleep off the alcohol before Charles and Pierre returned from their meetings.

He helped them up the stairs to Arthur's apartment, helped them open the door, help them take their shoes off since they both struggled to do that and then helped them both on to the sofa where they could sleep the alcohol off.

Within seconds they were both passed out on the sofa and snoring and Lorenzo couldn't help but laugh at how they had so easily gotten themselves drunk.

He quickly snapped a photo of them and left the apartment, where the two of them stayed for over three hours, asleep, drunk and yet cuddled together.

How adorable.
