"I can't breathe with this tie," Kol complained, barely able to even do that. Dorian and Dylan ignored Kol. "I barely know Cas but I think I'm falling for her." Dylan started combing Kol's hair, making Kol feel like a doll.

"Of course you're falling for her. You both have the same sense of humour and she's so hot that I question my sexuality again," Dorian elbowed Dylan playfully and Kol felt like a third wheel. "So...Are you gonna kiss her or not?" Kol shrugged and Dorian put his hand on his shoulder.

"Kol, buddy, a girl like Cas is one in a million," He nodded with a smile. "Then kiss her before some dickhead gets the girl who's probably your someday." Kol loosened his tie and stepped off the stool he was on.

"You're right, mate," Kol nodded at Dylan. "Make sure you keep your someday, you won't find someone so attractive that I question my sexuality like him again," He walked out of Dorian's room, closing the door with a click and found Julia, Jensen's little sister, outside the room with a colourful feather. "Julia, where did you get that feather?" Julia looked up, scared.

"It fell off Castiel's wings and I was looking for her to give it back," Kol gave her a look and she sighed an exaggerated sigh. "Fine, I took it from her wings and wanted to show off to Dorian." She handed Kol the feather and he knelt to her height.

"Never do that again, Jules," Julia said something that Kol didn't catch. "What was that, Jules? I didn't catch that." Julia looked at him, her eyes were angry.

"My name's Julia, not Jules. You're nothing to me and don't get to boss me around," Kol felt like he'd been verbally slapped. "Go kiss your abomination of a girlfriend and leave me alone." Kol watched her walk away and wondered where the three year old girl who used to call him cousin was. He walked to Cas' room and knocked, holding the feather gingerly. Bex opened the door with a smile which scared Kol.

"Looking good, Kol," Kol did a mocking bow and Bex laughed. "Cas, there's an english guy here to see you," Bex opened the door wider and when Kol saw Cas, his jaw dropped. "I think Kol agrees with me about you being beautiful." Beautiful was an understatement, Kol thought, unable to speak. Her hair was pinned up in a bun and her dress was a rainbow fabric that brushed the floor. She didn't wear any makeup except a little eyeliner and her face was blushing slightly which made Kol realise that he hadn't spoken for too long.

"Sorry...You're beautiful and I believe this belongs to you," He held up the feather and Cas took it with a frown. "Julia, Jensen and Dorian's sister, took it from your wings to show off to Dorian," Cas set the feather on her dresser and Kol couldn't help staring even though he tried not to. "I'll wait outside until you're done getting ready." He walked outside the room and tried to slow his heart rate down. One in a million, Kol thought as Andy waltzed towards him with Jensen. Andy grinned at him which made him wonder what him and Bex had in common.

"Bex still getting ready?" Kol nodded and Andy settled himself against the opposite wall. "She'll be ready in a couple of minutes and we'll be on time," And they waited quietly for the couple of minutes then the door opened. "Ready to-Wow," Bex wore a floor length purple dress with little pearls sewn in with her hair in a half bun, she was beautiful too. "Bex, can I declare my love for you loudly? Because you look ridiculous to me but you're always beautiful." Kol expected a punch to be thrown but Bex smiled at him.

"That's what I was going for, Andy," She walked forward and kissed Andy, making the others look away. "Okay, now showing off is over, let's go see Alma Miracle," Bex stopped, frowning. "Is it just me or does her name sound like I'm a miracle?" Cas gave her a raised eyebrow.

"I noticed that when I started to talk, how did you just realise?" Bex shrugged and Kol noticed how alike but different they both were. "Anyway, let's go and learn how to save my family. I think I might even stay in the Library after all this." Kol smiled to himself, praying to anything that could be listening that she would stay even if it was the most selfish thing he ever wanted. They used their invisibility beads and got on the train to Alma's warehouse. Kol stayed close to Cas and Jensen, hand on his mum's dagger. They got off the train and ten minutes later, Cas was leading them into the warehouse. Alma stood outside the warehouse which blared Simple Plan.

"Angel! You brought the Javelin and...A Shield," It wasn't until then that Kol realised that Cas never knew that Andy was a Shield, like her. "Along with a Daggers and a Spear. I'm Alma but call me Allie," Allie took the opportunity to wink at Jensen who blushed crimson. "I have to see everyone but miss Javelin dancing." Kol looked between Allie and Jensen before offering his arm to Cas.

"May I have this dance?" The door swung open as she took his arm and they walked in. Perfect started playing and they slow danced along with everyone else. It felt a little funny since Cas was taller than him but it felt perfect to him. "This feels weird with how small I am compared to you," She raised an eyebrow and Kol laughed nervously. "I meant, you being taller than me feels weird in a good way." Cas joined in with his nervous laughter.

"You dress up very well, you could be mistaken for Alex Rider," Kol grinned at that and she laughed, getting strange looks from people around them. But Cas only had eyes for him. "It's weird that I have to dance to learn how to save my family but at least it's with you." Perfect ended to start playing How You Get The Girl but they stopped dancing. Kol stared into her silver eyes before he leaned in and she leaned in, making their noses bump into each other. They burst out laughing, dancing together again and saw Bex kissing Andy like he would die if she didn't. Kol looked at Cas again.

"I lied earlier about you being beautiful," The second the words left his mouth, he wanted to facepalm. "The way you look doesn't have a word because beautiful would be a gross understatement," Her silver eyes melted and he put a hand on her cheek. "Can I be your first kiss? It's okay if you want someone a lot taller." The song changed again to In My Veins as she laughed.

"You don't have to ask, London Bridge," Kol laughed softly at the horrible nickname and she joined in. They stopped laughing as Kol finally kissed Cas. If this was a movie, book or TV show, there would be a girl in glasses squealing about the kiss wherever she would be. Cas pulled away, both catching their breath as light bulbs blew. "That was worth the wait...My first kiss with a guy who could pass for Alex Rider. Thirteen year old me's jealous." Kol shrugged, thinking about thirteen year old him.

"Thirteen year old me's angry that I kissed a girl taller than me," They stopped dancing and walked off the dance floor towards Allie and Jensen. "Am I going to be murdered by your godmother?" Cas shook her head, taking his hand. Allie gave the two of them a huge grin that Kol felt the urge to return or to run.

"Daggers, you better not hurt her or I'll skin you alive with my magic," Kol nodded, resisting the urge to reach for his dagger. "Good. I need you to get the Shield and Spear while I take Angel and Jensen upstairs," Andy and Bex wandered over to them for no reason. "That saved time. Follow me, we'll need you guys for practice." They went to the stairs when a werewolf ran over to them.

"Alma, someone burned down Witchy's," The music stopped and Jensen's face went pale. "Witnesses saw a boy with orange hair leave as the fire started. Are your Dark friends going to get revenge for her?" Jensen crossed her arms and nodded.

"Witchy was my friend, I will avenge her, no matter what," The werewolf looked satisfied and the music started again. Kol noticed Allie giving Jensen a look of appreciation and smiled. "So, let's find the motherfucker who did this." They continued upstairs and Good Times started playing as they were watched from the skylight.

---

Cas couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. At least she couldn't until she heard about Witchy, now all she could remember was the dress Witchy gave her. Allie locked her apartment door behind them and went to her bookshelf.

"When you were two, your powers started to appear except your wings, they didn't appear until you were three," She pulled out a multicoloured book and offered it to Cas. "I made this for you since you'd need to learn control one day and it was something I could do," Cas took the spellbook and opened it to see her reflection. "Stare at your reflection and imagine your mother. If your mother doesn't work, try Beth and Matt." Cas stared at her reflection, remembering her mom singing Nickelback while making breakfast every morning before school. The image changed from Cas to her mom hugging a crying Raphael. Cas looked around the dark room for any clues to see the Space Needle across the street.

"Holy shit," The image disappeared and Cas closed the spellbook, looking at Allie. "Across the street from the Space Needle," Cas hugged Allie hard, feeling so happy but so sad. "We have to save them...Tomorrow? Can we?" She looked at Kol and Jensen who seemed very pale. "Kol? Jensen? We need to save them so I can tell my mom I'm going to learn to be a Dark," Allie smiled at her while Kol tried to hide one. "I saw me in the future fighting demons and becoming Jensen's etaíros...Besides, being as normal as I was, won't be possible with wings, magic and advanced hearing." To her surprise, Bex hugged her with an infectious but frightening grin.

"Thank God, I don't want to be the only one with dyed hair," Cas hugged back with a matching grin which was hopefully less frightening. "Not to mention, having another Shield apart from Andy is going to be fun." Kol grinned at her as he took her hand again.

"I want you to stay in this world," He kissed her briefly. "Not just for kissing, love," Cas smiled widely, thankful for the braces she got when she was thirteen. "We'll save them tomorrow, I swear on my family name." Cas looked at Jensen who grinned.

"Cas, I hope what you saw comes true or I'll be angry with you," Not all of it, Cas thought, remembering the three bodies surrounded by their family. "We should head back to the Library and tell my mom what we're going to do." Cas hugged Allie tight and Allie leaned close to her ear.

"Remember every vision you've had, you've only been wrong once," Allie pulled out of the hug and winked at Jensen again. "You know where to find me, Jensen. I hope you find me." Jensen winked back with shining eyes.

"You know where to find me as well, remember?" Cas tucked her spellbook into Kol's inside pocket as they followed Allie back outside. Jensen stopped at the stairs, going for her daggers. "Guys! We have some company, orange hair and black eyes...Kinda hot." Cas grabbed the hilt of the Shield sword which had been slid down her dress as she faced a girl who had to be her sister. Gabriel snarled up at her, clutching something to her chest while holding a dagger to Clara Daggers' throat.

"Hello Castiel, I believe you've met the lovely Clara Daggers," Kol froze beside Cas and Cas pulled out the sword. "You have a choice to make, sister. Join our father or watch Clara Daggers die." Cas was conflicted but Kol squeezed her hand, glancing at the roof. She glanced up to see Liz aiming at Gabriel.

"Dhampir Sword isn't my father. Enoch Parker is," Gabriel looked angry and pressed her dagger against Clara's throat enough to draw blood. "I won't join him or watch Clara die so kiss my Dark ass," It hadn't come out the way it was supposed to but Liz shot the arrow and it hit its mark but Gabriel still slit Clara's throat. Kol launched himself over the railing while Cas just gripped the railing, trying not to vomit. "No...God, no," Kol screamed over his mom's corpse...Like he had lost a part of himself. "I saw this was going to happen but I thought it was Liz." Cas ran to Kol as Liz reached him. Kol stopped screaming but stared at his mom's corpse, unmoving. Liz put an arm around him and Cas did the same when she reached them. Liz looked at her with tears going down her face.

"I should've been quicker," Kol said nothing while Cas shook her head at her. "Kol, talk to us...Please. I loved your mom too. She loved you." Kol looked at Liz, putting a hand on Cas' arm.

"I remember what she made me forget...She met up with Laurel Shield every Wednesday," He looked at Cas, his eyes shattered. "Your mum made her be with Dhampir so she could find out whatever Dhampir didn't tell her...You have angel blood in your veins." Cas squeezed his shoulder, not sure what she could say. She reached forward and closed Clara's eyes.

"He told me that he already killed her...Why did he lie?" The corpse started convulsing on the ground and Cas pulled Kol away with Liz's help. "That's not her." The corpse changed into a demon and it snarled at them. Cas stood up with her sword and her wings came out. The demon grinned at her in a way that seemed familiar.

"Cas, help me," The voice seemed familiar as well and she looked the demon in the turquoise eyes to notice what looked like glasses on its nose. "Cas, please. I can't stop whatever your fucking dad did to me...Please recognise me." She looked at a small puff of sandy hair and knew who it was.

"Matt? It's okay, Matt. We'll save you," Allie hurried towards Cas and Matt with a raised eyebrow. "It's Matt, Dhampir did this to him...How do we save him?" Allie sighed, looking sad.

"You have to kill him," Cas shook her head, putting a hand on Matt's shoulder. "Dhampir did this to normal people before and we had to kill them. Fifty percent of the time, they came back. We have to pray the same happens to Matt." Cas looked at Matt, wishing that she didn't know it was him. Someone put a hand on her shoulder.

"Cas, I'll do for you," She looked at Liz, surprised. "If I had to kill Kol to save him, I wouldn't be able to and I can tell you can't so..." She shrugged. Cas gave nod of thanks, stepping away from Matt with everything she could. Kol took her hand, pressing a kiss to it.

"You don't have to look, love," Cas looked at him, frowning. "You don't want to watch someone you love die...Take it from me." Cas hugged him as Liz stabbed Matt in the heart.

---

Matt remembered what Logan said when he was dying in the movie Logan and understood it. Death felt weird, it was weird seeing memories fly through his mind. Dancing with Cas and Beth to Linkin Park, crying with them when they read Chester Bennington had died, the three of them, forever and always. His mom and dad yelling about Matt, blood from his wrists, Laurel saving him. Watching Beth look at Raphael like he was Captain America or Draco Malfoy, the kiss that wasn't from Beth, Gabriel drinking his blood. Chasing after his sister as she ran off the cliff, a pink teddy bear in a coffin, Enoch telling him a story, Allie teaching him how to ride a bike, Laurel holding his hand during the funeral. It was so bright and he heard his sister calling him.

"Matt Anderson, come play with me!" He didn't follow her voice, looking behind him to see Beth and Cas, both crying. "You promised you'd play with me!"

"Goodbye Clare...I have to go back," He saw his sister holding out a hand and he felt the tears on his face. "I'm a shitty brother but a really good friend," Clare nodded and skipped away as he opened his eyes. He coughed a little blood but Allie used magic on him and he noticed the girl who stabbed him cleaning a knife. "Hey, stabby," The girl looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Thanks for doing it for Cas...She's lucky to have you as a friend." The girl frowned, very confused.

"I've never had someone thank me for stabbing them," She shrugged with a little smile. "Then again, you're the only survivor as far as I know. I'm Liz Arrow BTW." She offered him her hand, he shook it with a smile.

"Matt Anderson," Allie helped him sit up and he cleaned his glasses. "Tell me who shorty is so I can threaten to kick his ass to the moon if he hurts her." Liz looked over at Cas and the short guy with a smirk.

"I covered that with Cas since Kol's my best friend," They smiled at each other as Kol and Cas walked over. "Cas, I like your normal friend, he's funny." Matt grabbed Kol's arm.

"Hurt Cas and I'll kiss your ass to the moon," Kol nodded gravely and helped Matt up. "Now, that's over with, how can I help rescue Beth and save Raphael?" Liz clapped his shoulder and smirked.

"You tell us everything you know while we go to the Library." Matt nodded and told them everything he knew.
