"(Y/N)?" Cisco entered your apartment. You had given him a key for any time he needed it and after 5 knocks with no answer, he decided it was okay to pull it out.

"Sweetheart? Where are you?" Cisco searched for you and ended up at your bedroom door.

"(Y/N)?" He knocked softly on the door, he heard you stand up from behind it and unlock it. You opened the door to reveal your tear stained face to your boyfriend.

"What's wrong, pumpkin?" He held your hand.

"It's stupid, don't worry about it, Cisco. I'm fine." You said, attempting to stop the tears from flowing.

"Baby, it's not stupid. What has you so upset?"

"My dog died last night" you cried. "I'm sorry it's silly I know"

"No, sweetie, it's not silly. You've had him for so long. It's okay to be sad." Cisco said, rubbing your shoulders. You just nodded in response, not being able to use your words right now. "Oh, honey, come here" he hugged you close. This made you cry more because you didn't know where you'd be without him.

"I didn't even get to say goodbye"

"I know, baby, I know," he rubbed circles on your back, softly. "But he knew you loved him, okay?"

"Okay" you sniffed.

"I love you, (y/n)" he whispered before kissing your cheek.

"I love you too" you choked.

Cisco just held you close and let you cry until it was time for work, because that's exactly what you needed. And Cisco always knows just exactly what you need.

A/N anyway today was horrible and I'm honestly in a really bad place and I can't wait for 2017 to start looking up
