Hi lovelies,

This story is a little unconventional. It's not an average high school romance story.  Certainly it's a little different from the usual more upbeat stories I write. Which isn't to say it's devoid of joy, but this is a story about grief.

Specifically, it's about dealing with guilt, anger and helplessness. With a small side-dose of self hatred. Because hormones are impossibly confusing.

Mostly, it's a story about family, friendships, and love.

It's also very short.  Only 8 chapters. 

Writing this really helped me process a few feelings in a difficult time in my life. I hope it helps you too. Or is entertaining in any way.  There are some difficult scenes (one in chapter five and a lot in chapter seven) that always bring tears to my eyes because I remember those feelings so strongly.

Regardless, if you liked this, or if there's anything you think I could improve on I'm always happy to receive feedback.  My aim is to improve as a writer, and hopefully entertain you in the process.
