3rd Person POV

julie smiled at astrid as she helped her move on from the topic of burning desire , at least reggie hadn't heard brooklyn baby, that would've been awkward

"so what's happening with flynn?" Astrid asked as she sat down on the couch between reggie and luke as they both wrapped an arm around her, she stared at julie in confusion and luke removed his arm slowly as reggie left his with a smirk on his face 

"she's mad at me because she didn't know you existed. i wrote this song about her" Julie explained

"oh yeah we found that" Luke said and he pulled out a piece of paper as Astrid smacked her forehead

"what is with you and stealing peoples songs?" she asked and julie ran after luke

"julie just listen to this. "if somebody hurts you, i'm gonna get hurt too" and my life , my life would be real low, zero, flying solo" luke sang as reggie chimned in at the end

"ooo" he sang and astrid smiled at him as he smiled back

"you're lucky you're cute" she exclaimed as luke raised an eyebrow with a smirk

"i wrote that about flynn when she was helping me with all my no stuff. i gotta go" Julie said and she spun around

"hey what about the band?" luke called

"oh and i almost forgot, stay out of my room beside you astrid you're good to come in whenever you want" julie exclaimed and astrid smiled at her

"so what did you talk about to make her not hate you?" luke asked and reggie turned to her

"my songs" she exclaimed and they whipped around to fully look at her

"so you trust her but not us?" luke asked in offense and she sighed as she ran a hand through her hair

"i trust you guys, i do but those songs are about certain people" she said softly and luke nodded as he caught on but reggie didn't

"who?" he asked and she sighed

"just focus on the song" she said and she walked over to luke as they looked at the book and started to sing along

"guess that means i'm buying lunch that day, i know all your secrets you know all my deep dish, guess that means that something they never " they sang as she wrote it down but reggie cut off their singing

"wait so... when she Says, deep dish, is she talking about like pizza, or..." Reggie asked and he led off as astrid made eye contact with luke and they sighed as alex landed on the piano

"lex thank god youre back, where have you been?" she asked and she hugged him as he hugged her back

", kind of everywhere. Yeah I meant new ghost friend" he said and she smiled softly

"boy?" she asked

"his name is willie" he said

"you'll have to tell my all about him later" she stated and he nodded

" But he did  answer a ton of questions" alex said and luke spoke up

" Yeah? Like whether Julie was gonna join the band or not?" luke said as he snatched the book out from under alex

" Luke calm down Jesus" astrid said

" Well we didn't we didn't really get to that, but I think I know where we're here. OK? All ghost have, like, unfinished business. So, we need to do our unfinished business that we can cross over" Alex explained

" Why would we do that? I'm just saying, this is like a second chance. All we need to do is get julie to play with us" Luke stated

" Yeah. Not only can that girl saying, she can write two. Luke, astrid and  I made a killer Melody to one of her  lyrics" and they handed the book to alex

" Oh... Without your drummer. Cool" Alex said

" OK we'll always need you lex" astrid reassured him

" Not Astrid I actually think drumming is so 90s. We're just gonna stomp our feet now" Luke said and astrid groaned

" OK well do you know what else is so 90s? Being rude. All right? Get woke these are sensitive times" alex retorted

"well damn lex" she said as he put the song book on luke's chest and he held it

"ah! alex" luke whispered

" I learned that from my ghost friend" Alex whispered to astrid and reggie

"woke. that's a cool word, what does it mean?" reggie asked

"no clue" alex said

"you guys are helpless" she said and she shook her head as she looked up and saw julie at the door

"hi jules" she said and julie smiled

"flynn is here, is the song ready?" Julie asked and Astrid nodded

"yeah almost , we got your back jules" Astrid said and julie nodded as there was a knock on the door

"she's pretty" astrid said and alex nodded his head in agreement

"actually can you go over there, astrid and reggie need some space to rock out and they feel kind of weird walking through you" julie said even though they weren't near there and she sat her dow . astrid shook her head with a smile on her face

" The guys took a poem that I wrote about you and put it to music" Julie stated

"aww! i wish i didn't have to talk to your dad about this" Flynn said and Astrid shook her head with a smile

"it's called flying solo, hope you like it" julie said and she started to play on the bass pad

"oh that tickled" astrid said and they laughed

"they're ghosts!" Flynn said

"oh we prefer musician spirits" Alex spoke and Astrid shook her head

"julie... does this mean you're joining our band?" luke questioned

"ummm actually i think you're joining her band" Flynn said and astrid chuckled

"i'm going go with what she said" Julie said and they laughed together as they began to sing again and flynn watched reggie and astrid together. she tapped julie's arm and pointed towards them as julie nodded her head in agreement

everyone knew but reggie
