Chapter Three
This Is Sacred

3rd Person POV

she paced back and forth before reggie rubbed her arms and stopped her.

"breathe astrid" he exclaimed and she took a deep breathe in

"he knew what that song meant and he just... took it. reg, he just took it" she said and he nodded as he listened

"we have to go back in there and be there for her" she said and they walked back into the gym as julie started to sing. they appeared on stage with her and julie smiled at astrid gratefully . reggie and astrid sang into the mic together as Julie sang too. astrid held a smile on her face as she looked out at the crowd and julie walked over to her as they shared the mic and reggie blushed

they smiled at each other as julie and her carried the note together and then the song ended as they disappeared off the stage when they bowed

"oh shit" astrid exclaimed as she looked at alex and reggie in fear for julie .

"holograms" astrid exclaimed and julie smiled at her as she repeated her words

"They could see us when we were playing, but not when the music ended" luke said

"we know this though luke" she exclaimed

"We should double check. Yeah, I don't" reggie said as he got on the stage and wiggled his butt

"I don't think they can see us" reggie said

"I wish I couldn't see you" alex said and they walked away with the rest of the students. they went into the hallway and waited for julie

astrid rested against reggie and alex

"julie" they yelled

"you stop doing that i'm serious" julie said and astrid smiled

"sorry jules we were already here though, waiting for you. we need to talk about what just happened" Astrid exclaimed as they all agreed

"yeah the whole school saw you, it's kinda freaking me out" Julie exclaimed

"ok, good , cause It's kind of freaking me out too. You know, you can see us and then people could see us whenever we playing music In my clothes are made of air, but for some reason I'm still getting a Wedgie, so many questions" alex ranted and astrid rubbed his back

"lex tmi just keep it to yourself next time" she whispered and he nodded

" The important thing is that we rocked that place. They were loving you!" Luke said

"are you kidding they loved us. that was great song, astrid thanks" julie said

"you told her?" she asked and luke nodded

"i'm sorry for stealing it from you astrid" he said and she nodded

"jules there's other songs that i can show you if you want" she said and julie nodded with a smile. as they walked away together as they left the boys behind, they walked to julie's house and went into the studio

"this is my songbook, this is sacred. there's a reason i freaked out, there are songs about reggie in here you can not tell them" she said and she held the songbook as she handed it to julie and julie went through it

"reggie huh?" she asked and astrid blushed

"and some ex girlfriends that they don't know exists" Astrid said and julie flipped through the book until she landed on the other women and held it up

"this one?" she asked and astrid looked at the book as she looked down at it

"this was when reggie had a girlfriend and i realized my feeling" she said and julie sighed as she nodded

"you really like him don't you?" she asked and astrid nodded sadly

"yeah and lex always says he likes me back but i just can't think about that" she said and she flipped through the book

"there's this one too" she said and she showed her prisoner as julie  read it and then she sat the book down as julie sat down next to her on the couch

"can you sing this one to me?" julie asked as she pointed to burning desire  and astrid nodded as she grabbed her guitar and julie sat at the piano as they started to play it together and she started to sing

she finished off strong and julie smiled at her softly as she set the guitar down and looked up to see luke and reggie at the door

"never heard that one before" Luke spoke and Julie smiled

"wrote it one night in my room" she said and reggie smiled

"who is  it about?" reggie asked and they all made eye contact with wide eyes

"uhhh good question, julie you said something about flynn, let's talk about that" she asked and julie nodded

reggie stood there obliviously but at least julie got her out of it but not for long
