Cinderella POV

"OMG! YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GO!" Skylar shrieked as she watched Celebrity Gossip News.

"Today we have announcement that Jackson Taylors or should I say Prince Jackson Taylors has officially sent out an invitation to people from around the world. Only a few will get in so mail your letter on why YOU should get invited to this exclusive Masquerade Ball. Who will get in? Let's find out." the woman on the news said before Skylar made this comment. 

"I don't know. I don't think he wants me there." I said with disappointment. After he left, my life has gotten worse. Aiden had threatened to abuse me unless I became his girlfriend. I think he's only doing it to make Jackson jealous. My family has ignored me. They just give me death stares if I walk by or tell me short commands. Jackson Jr. was taken after they found out an animal was living in their house which was quote-on-quote "filthy and disgusting like you, Isabella." 

I cried when the little cat ran to me for safety as the animal shelter men tried to take him away. He curled up in a little ball on my lap as I begged for them to let me keep it, but unfortunately they took the whimpering cat away. 

My heart was now officially broken and no one could ever fix it ever again. 

"Come on go!" Skylar pleaded. 

"Hey babe." Aiden came in my room and landed on my bed. I flinched away but he grabbed my wrist with great strength and pulled me close. Skylar looked away because she couldn't do anything about it. 

I stayed quiet as I looked down. He loosened the grip, which left a mark. But he didn't care.

"We're going to the ball, and your coming with me." he whispered menacingly into my ear. I shivered and he smirked. 

I slightly nodded. I felt like puking. "I'm picking you up at 5 and we'll all go with ur family as well. Wear this dress." he said with command, throwing a dress my way and walking out the room.

It was the shortest piece of trash I have ever seen. Even Skylar looked at it with disgust, that is until her face lit up. 

"WAIT! I GOT AN IDEA!" she said bouncing towards the door and closing it quietly. 

"What if you don't have to be with Aiden for the night!" she whispered while shouting. I looked at her with furrowed brows.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion. 

"Do you want to spend the night with Prince Charming?" she asked, knowing I would agree. 

I nodded my head. "This is what you do." she began.

"I will wear that....shirt...to the ball and go with your family and Aiden." I frowned at this. ".... and you wear this one." she said and opened her bag pulling out the most beautiful dress ever.

I smiled and jumped up to hug her. 

"But wait. He'll know, I mean you don't have my face." I said with another scowl. 

"No problem." she said pulling out a mask that covered her face, mostly

and another one that matched my new dress 

"You would do that for me?" I asked, tears in my eyes. 

She smiled. "Of course. And I am your fairy godmother aren't I?" she asked. 

"Your the best fairy godmother." I whispered to her as I hugged her tightly. 

"Come on now, we have a ball to get to!" she said with an excited shriek. 

I smiled as I thought of how good of a friend Skylar was, someone I truly didn't deserve, but someone who made me smile.

I know the song is in Maleficent and not Cinderella but I don't know, I just kept humming "Once upon a dream" while writing this so, here you are.  Now that I think about it, I hum it all the time.
