I'm 19
My mum died from cancer when I was 8 and shorty after, my dad joined the army. We used to be the perfect happy family, we had quite a lot of money and I was really popular, that all changed when mum died. Dad has trouble dealing with it so he worked through it with army training. I used to be looked after by the housekeeping staff but when I was 12, dad decided I needed a new mum so he remarried. Her name's Linda and dad says he loves her but I know he doesn't! She's horrible and she's only using him for his money.

Linda came with a daughter as well. Her name's Courtney she's the same age as me. I used to be quite popular but that all changed when she arrived. She was queen bee in school and now we're both out of it she is the queen bee at home. Anything she wants, she gets.

One other thing i miss is staying inside the house. Instead I sleep the converted barn (luckily we never used it and the stables my horse lives in were 10 minutes away on my Rollerblades) that is a garage at the front and my room is round the back.

Anyway. Linda and Courtney never let me have anything I want so I had to get a job at a local retro Diner. It's called the Beehive Diner and the owner Gina is really nice. She's practically family to me.
