x seven x

                                        it was christmas yet again, and all nicole could fret about was to get leo. she searched in magazines; catalogs; even turning on the television for resources. nothing seemed to be good enough to give her lovely boyfriend.

            leo searched for hours on end to buy the perfect gift for nicole. he decided that it would be best if he gave her a promise ring; a ring to reassure her that he would be by her side--------through the good and bad times.

             "s' cuse me?" he asked as he stepped into the jewelry store.

       "yes?" a french accent spoke.

       "i need the most expensive ring you got," he said, pulling out his wallet. the french woman took out a blue diamond; it shone through the store's lighting. it screamed: let me rest on your fiancé's finger. he smiled once he glanced at it; pulling out his credit card as he asked for it to be wrapped.

          it was only after eleven by the time leo got home. nicole laid on the sofa; waiting to spend the christmas holiday with her significant other.

              "babe?" leo cooed, shaking her slightly; awakening her from her slumber.

     "you're home," she smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck as leo hovered over her.

          "merry christmas, babe." he opens the box, seeing nicole's face light up with joy; love and happiness. she embraced leo tightly, tears escaping her tearducts.

           she felt bad that she only got him a jacket, but leo was thrilled. they spent the night talking, kissing, and enjoying each other for the holidays.

               just like it should be.

          i'm not in the best of mood right now, mostly because i may have lost two friendships in one night. but i decided to update this story just because i wanted to become buddy the elf and spread some christmas cheer.
