20.
Jimin opened up the glass door to the balcony. The air was cool and sun bright in the sky. He inhaled the outdoor air and shivered a bit.
Today he happened to wake up without Yoongi and he was very satisfied with himself. He was all dressed and ready for breakfast. When he came in he'd rub it in his face for sure.
Jimin took a seat on a chair and leaned on the balcony. He rested his head on his hands and watched underneath him. The roses were still very pretty despite the approaching autumn change.
He was so relaxed and zoned out until he spotted a familiar figure talking to another guard. It was Yoongi himself.
Immediately, he got up to check the clock. It was past eight and that meant that he should be outside his door. With confusion, he went back outside and saw that he was headed to the gate.
Jimin being the nosy human he was quickly ran to his door. An unknown security man was outside and was caught off guard by the abrupt intrusion.
"Where's Yoongi?"
"Good morning sir. He's busy right now. He's running an errand. I'm Chan and I'll be your guard until he's available again.
"Ahh. Okay. I want to go outside." He stated as he began walking down the hallway.
Chan followed behind, "Shouldn't I take you to eat breakfast first?"
"Nope. I need to go outside."
Chan gulped down nervously. He was quite new to being a security guard and was in training. The fact that Yoongi personally asked him to replace him for a few hours was flattering. Now that he was in the elevator with Jimin he wasn't feeling so confident.
"Come on Han. We need to move it and if they don't see me with a guard they'll shoot me."
"It's Chan sir. I'm right behind you." He said quickly.
The guards that were outside looked over at them as they walked down the pathway. They didn't speak or questioned, but watched closely.
"Sir I wouldn't get so close!" Chan screamed as Jimin reached for the gate.
He turned around confused, "Why not?"
"It has electricity."
"Oh." He mumbled disappointed. He started walking and seeing between the fence. Abruptly he stopped when he saw Yoongi's figure in the distance.
Across the street hugging a woman around his height. She had long black wavy hair and wore all white. Jimin observed for a few more seconds and then turned to look at Chan.
"Very well. I'm ready for breakfast now."
"Okay." He replied still trying to process what had happened. How come he was so excited to go outside and suddenly wanted to go back in?
"Does Yoongi have a girlfriend?" He questioned as they got closer to the front door. He made sure to keep his voice down and for no other guard to be around.
"Umm...I don't know sir. Every now and then he meets up with...a friend." Chan bit his tongue to keep quiet. He was so gullible and never knew when to shut up.
"Very well." He replied slightly aggravated. It irked him to know Yoongi had a girlfriend and he didn't know why.
Breakfast was ready like usual. Yoongi must've let Taeil know before leaving. He sat down and proceed to cut his pancakes into pieces. As the sweetness blended in his mouth he swallowed it down.
Pancakes had never tasted so bitter.

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows tilting his head to the side. He was attempting to make a figure of the messy painting he had been working on for about an hour. It reminded him of cloud watching and making figures.
"You can leave Chan."
When he heard Yoongi's voice he flinched a little. Chan quickly got in front of Jimin and bowed to excuse himself.
Yoongi did not say a word to him and kept his place behind him. Jimin glanced at the clock on the wall which read one thirty in the afternoon. He put the end of the paintbrush between his lips.
"Chan is an amazing guard. Sweet, kind, and very attentive." Jimin said adding a little flirty tone to his voice.
"Cool why don't you make him your guard then?"
He turned around annoyed while pointing a finger, "You stupid dog! You're my guard and I'm not going to change you."
Yoongi rolled his eyes and sighed. "I knew it. It was too good to be true."
"I can't believe you said that. I'm offended! I'm the best entertainment you have here."
"Mhm."
"I mean, I'm pretty great. I'm funny, fun, and super interesting."
"Mhm."
"There's not a thing I can't do. I'm basically perfect!"
"Mhm."
"Stop agreeing with me!"
"Okay."
Jimin groaned and turned back around. He no longer was as smooth and delicate with his paint strokes. Why did Yoongi get under his skin so damn much?
Minutes of silence blended into another half an hour. Jimin's anger had diminished and he was able to speak to him again. He turned around and looked at him.
Yoongi kept staring ahead attempting to ignore his gaze. It was extremely irksome until he snapped. "What are you looking at brat?"
Jimin smirked satisfied with getting under his skin. "I know why you've been so immune to my flirtatious side."
Yoongi remained quiet trying to analyze where this mischief was coming from. He wasn't going to ask because asking would only feed into his ego.
"Aren't you curious to know what I know?"
"Not really." He blankly responded with an unimpressed look.
"You have a girlfriend. That's why you're so nonchalant with me. I mean if you like women that's totally fine. They're all cute and tiny and stuff. They have them boobies and...stuff."
Yoongi shook his head with another sigh. Jimin shrugged as he turned back around to his painting. "I saw you hug her this morning. All pretty and tall. She's too pretty for you either way. I don't know how she likes a dog like you."
This got Yoongi's attention. "How did you see me?"
"I have superpowers and can see far, far, away."
"Jimin I'm serious."
His eyes widen a bit. It was unusual for him to be called by his first name. It was always brat. "I was walking around the yard and saw you through the gate okay?"
"Dammit Chan—"
"No, no! Stop. It's not his fault." Jimin spoke up in defense.
Yoongi froze and looked back waiting for further explanation. He gave in and talked. That's what he got for trying to tease him.
"I saw you walking outside this morning and I was curious. Chan didn't know about it until I saw you. I was just curious, okay? I won't tell Taehyung about your girlfriend."
"She's not my girlfriend. Don't be so nosy or it's going to get you killed."
Jimin smiled, "Does that mean you care about me?"
"My job is to protect you. If you get killed I have failed at my job. Don't get it twisted."
"Fine. Whatever. Come see my painting. It's an order."
Yoongi being unable to refuse walked and stood beside him. He leaned over to try and figure out what the fuck was that.
Jimin turned to him and sniffed quietly. His smell was just irresistible and having him close was always very thrilling.
"It looks like an abomination."
Jimin snapped out of his head and scoffed offended. "It's a drawing of you! Stupid dog."
"That doesn't look like me." He replied facing him with a frown.
Their faces were so close to each other Jimin could actually feel his warm breath. One of his buttons wasn't done and it exposed his pretty pale collarbones.
His skin looked so gorgeous and milky. Jimin wanted to touch. Remembering his touch made him crave it more. What was the sudden change in him?
"I think it looks just like you." He finally replied.
Yoongi shook his head and straightened back up. Jimin cleared his throat and went back to the painting. The warmness in his stomach was rising up his neck.
Blushing didn't happen often. He was usually pretty confident and the one causing the blushing. It was weird to be so shy and weird around him.
He picked up the brush and did a few more strokes. Yoongi was no longer looking at the wall, but at his back. He caught himself staring a little too much and quickly stroke back into his firm pose.
"Who is she anyways?" Jimin asked randomly.
"That's none of your business brat."
Jimin disappointedly kept painting, but the question never left his mind. Once again the bitter taste in his mouth returned.
