"I already regret it," Rose states

Sebastian, Ciel, Rose, and Madam Red were on their way to the party.

"But you're adorable" Madam Red squeals

"You could've said no," Ciel tells her "I would never make you do something you didn't want to."

"I will play my part in this family brother," Rose says, turning towards him "You just catch him."

"You can guarantee that," Ciel nods

The carriage stops, Sebastian, Grell, and Ciel got out. Ciel was wearing a butler's outfit while Sebastian was wearing his with a monocle and had his hair done nicely. Grell helped Madam Red out of the carriage, Ciel then helped Rose out.

"Rose is my niece visiting from the country, Sebastian will be her tutor, and Ciel will be her butler" Madam Red told them

"Why can't you just say I'm your nephew? Why do I have to be a butler?!" Ciel asks looking irritated.

"Tonight you're undercover" Madam Red replies "I've always wanted to dress up Rose, you see I've always wanted a daughter."

"It's a shame you've never been blessed with one," Rose says "you may dress me up anytime you'd like."

"Oh thank you sweetie," Madam Red smiles "next time I'll put you in red, I think you'd look the best."

"As do I," Rose replies

"I'm more annoyed that you're using my sister as bait for a pervert," Ciel interrupts 

"Well I've heard Lord Druitt has an eye for any pretty little thing in a skirt, and we do want to catch his eye right?" Madam Red asks "Naturally, Rose is a little beauty."

"By any means necessary." Sebastian recites "You do remember saying that, do you not sir? First things first, we need to locate this murderous Viscount."

Ciel growled in annoyance.

"We'll be by her side at all time's my Lord," Sebastian reassured him then turned to Rose "so you need not worry my lady."

"Yes" Rose answers as she opened her fan "It's a good think I'm a pretty thing in a skirt, as Madam Red had said."

They entered and started walking around the party.

"Lord Druitt looks as gorgeous as ever tonight! His hair shines like the sun"

They turned to see Lord Druitt surrounded by ladies.

"That's the Viscount Druitt, let's go." Ciel tried to go through the crowd but their were too many people "Damn, we'll never get close to him."

"We have no choice." Sebastian says "You will have to dance your way over to the Viscount."

"You really expect to dance in public, with who?" Rose questions

"With your butler of course" Sebastian replies

"What, me?!" Ciel asks looking embarrassed

"Yes of course," Sebastian answers "whatever is the problem, you and Rose practice dancing together all the time."

"That's because we're at the manor, where no one can see us," Ciel argues "why would I dance with my sister in public?"

"But nobody knows you are siblings," Sebastian tells him with a smile "we do need to solve this case, yes?"

"You're irritating," Ciel glares at him

"Sir butler," Rose addresses Ciel with a slight smile "would you please dance with me?"

"Yes," Ciel replies embarrassed "my lady."

Ciel grumbles before starting to dance with her.

"It appears you aren't happy about dancing with me," Rose says

"Society already sees me as a child unfit to be head of our house," Ciel sighs "I will avoid our family being slandered even for the smallest thing."

"I see," Rose smiles "At least it is not me."

"Of course it's not you," Ciel looked concerned "Whyever would you-"

The music stopped and so did they. Ciel nudged Rose when he saw Lord Druitt walking over.

"Your dancing is exquisite like a lovely little kitten, my sweet lady" Lord Druitt says with a slight bow

Ciel saw Sebastian signal for him to come over

"Young mistress, allow me to fetch you something to drink" Ciel bowed to Rose before walking to Sebastian

Rose turned to Lord Druitt and curtsied "Good evening, my Lord Druitt."

"I do hope you're enjoying the party, dear kitten" Lord Druitt kissed her hand

In the background Ciel was mumbling something about killing him.

"Oh yes, certainly. It's a wonderful party but my lord, I've been waiting to speak with you all evening" Rose replied

"Oh?" Druitt questioned curiously

"I'm bored to death of dancing and eating" Rose placed her hands on her hips

"What a spoiled princess you are little kitten. Looking for something more, entertaining?" Lord Druitt questioned placing his hand on her waist

Rose leaned into him "You know of other amusements? I'd be most interested"

"Of course." Lord Druitt smirked "I'd be happy to show them to you kitten, my sweet little thing" he pulled her closer to him.

"When this is all over I swear I'm going to kill that creep" Ciel mumbled as he watched

"Oh really, like what?" Rose asks

"You want to know?" Lord Druitt questions

"Yes, I'm simply dying to my lord" Rose replies "Now don't teas me my lord, I'm a lady not a little girl"

"Yes, anything for you my sweet. Right this way dear" Lord Druitt smiled opening up a curtain "We're going somewhere I'm sure you'll find very amusing, I know I do. Please."

Rose went in with Lord Druitt following.

"Damn it" Ciel gritted his teeth "where are they going?"

Rose smelled something weird, her vision darkened.

Lord Druitt smirked "See, aren't you enjoying yourself? Little kitten"

"And now what you've all been waiting for, tonight's crowned jewel."

Rose opened her eyes

"I'm sure she'd make a lovely decoration, or sweet little pet. You can keep her whole and healthy, or sell her for parts if you'd like to."

"Black market auction" Rose muttered

"The bidding shall begin momentarily, we'll start at 1,000 ginnies"

"2,000"

"3,000"

"5,000"

Rose closed her eyes and her right hand's mark glowed "Sebastian, come get me now!"

All the lights went out

"What's this?"

Sebastian appeared "Really miss. Are you good for nothing but getting yourself captured? How sad"

Ciel stood next to Sebastian "As long at the contract remains in place, you'll follow us everywhere whether we ask you to or not. Won't you?"

"This type of contract is sealed by a mark a demon places on his prey. The more noticeably placed the mark is, the tighter the demon and prey are bound to one another" Sebastian says "Yes I will be with you everywhere. Until the end. I shall be at your side no matter what. Even should I parish in this world, I'll still be there, in the very depths of hell my lord. This is how I differ from humans: I do not lie"

"Good, you will never lie to us no matter what." Ciel commands "Understood?"

"Yes, my young lord." Sebastian replies

Sebastian knocked Lord Druitt unconscious while the others ran away. Ciel opened up the cage and untied Rose.

"I suppose this solves the Jack the Ripper case." Ciel says "Well that was easier than I had expected."

"It seems a bit too easy brother," Rose replies, turning to him.

"We can't possibly be wrong," Ciel says

Sebastian walks over to the siblings.

"I imagine Scottland yard will be here before much longer." Sebastian tells them "We should take our leave."

He picked up Rose and Ciel, and they leave the party.

"Jack the Ripper strikes again?" Lau says confused

That was the tittle of the newspaper that just arrived, their had been another killing last night.

"So the Viscount wasn't our man after all" Madam Red said

Ciel looked angry.

"I told you brother," Rose looks up from her book "The game isn't over."
