another school day had passed and juhyun still had no fucking idea why she needed to be told about the structure of a cell or about how the total of forces in a direction is equal to zero when a body is at equilibrium.

this made her walk back home with thoughts about what she was meant to do and how her life will develop to be. if she had to be honest, she did not want to grow up. having responsibilities scared her way much more than the clown attacks going on.

as she walked through the corridor to her apartment she got a text from her mother.

her life was getting so bland ever since she moved here and it's killing her. so far all she's done in the 'intriguing seoul life' was go eat ramen from a rundown convince store and meet people who were simply basic. to top it off she was going to church now which was something she never liked doing.

her life back in her hometown was much more interesting. she and her friends didn't necessarily do whatever it is other korean teenagers did.

what they did was simply get high together, wether it was weed, cocaine or even benzos. everyone would judge juhyun if they found out but she thought the feeling of the smoke burning her throat and inhaling the toxic air around her was worth it. she just loved the feeling of carelessness.

now that she was here though it was difficult to get her hands on the substances she longed for so she kept chewing strawberry flavored gum all the time and bought basic ass cigarettes.

she sighed in distress pulling on her dress and tying her hair into a small ponytail since it was being very wild today. she sat on the bed placing on her shoes and huffing. 'why am i like this today?' she thought to herself being very confused as to why she was feeling so agitated.

before juhyun knew it she was getting up from her bed and heading towards her drawers to get the one thing she needed the most right now. her pack of cigarettes.

smoking a cigarette was nothing compared to a blunt but she had to deal with what she had and so she put the deadly item in between her lips and unlike augustus waters, she lit that shit up.

she took a whiff loving how the smoke filled in her lungs and how it burned when she inhaled for too long. she then sat on the floor and got out her phone scrolling through Instagram and taking casual puffs of smoke.

unfortunately after a few minutes her phone rang signaling that her mother was waiting for her in the car and so she got up and sprayed half the bottle of deodorant all over herself to mask the pungent odor.

after she was done she took the elevator to go downstairs and was met with the sight of her mother. she got in the car and the first thing her mom said was "god juhyun you smell like you just came out of a perfume factory "

"would you like me to go to church smelling like i ran a mile then ?"

"is there no in between with you?"

"never"

and so juhyun got out her phone, not really wanting to talk to her mother all that much. the church they were going to wasn't that far so it was only a matter of minutes before juhyuns mom was parking.

they silently got out of the vehicle locking it in the process and started heading towards the large building that looked newer than most churches.

they went in along with all the other people and looked for an unoccupied pew to sit in. there was one at the left front row that juhyuns mom did not hesitate to speed walk to.

after taking a seat and waiting for what seemed like hours, the priest arrived and made everybody give their undivided attention to him. all except for juhyun of course.

she looked around for a while a long sigh escaping her lips. she was about to doze off but she felt a light buzz in the dress of her pockets.

before juhyun could see seokjins reply her phone got harshly snatched from her grip. she looked to the side and saw her mom placing it in her pocket.

she was about to question her mom's odd action but her mom gave her the 'shut the fuck up and focus' look and so juhyun let a silent groan escape her lips.

she kept looking around still not wanting to pay attention to the 60 year old man standing on the steps. she kept admiring the works of art on the wall trying to keep herself entertained. she looked towards the other side of the room and spotted a woman wearing a rather inappropriate dress for church? it was too short and bright in juhyuns opinion.

she decided to keep staring at the woman due to the attractiveness of the color of her dress but as her eyes drifted to the person seated next to the lady, she started to knit her eyebrows. was that jimin?
