"juhyun let's go the moving truck's here!"

"i'm coming" juhyun sighed as she looked around her empty room that was once filled with her possessions.

this was tough for her. she grew up in this house and it was all she ever knewーher heart felt heavy even though she got over the fact that she was moving, leaving all her friends behind, leaving her home behind.

juhyun and her mother continued to bicker for a while before they decided that they were both too lazy to continue arguing and just got in the van.

it was a long ride for sure, a five hour drive maybe? juhyun had a playlist that she'd been making for a long while now and she hoped it wouldn't bore her too soon. it's silly that she'd been planning out a playlist for just this drive but she liked to attach her memories to music, that way she can listen to these songs again whenever she feels homesick.

as time went on juhyun's eyes were giving up and she started falling asleep.

"honey wake up, we're here" her mother said, tiredness evident in her voice. she must've slept too.

juhyun looked outside and was met with the sight of the apartment building they were going to live in. the building itself looked pretty average, but the space between it and the apartment building next to it seemed a bit odd, it was almost negligible considering the size of the buildings.

it was 7 pm by the time she was done with her room. she was still shocked that it took her this long to unpack all of her stuff, but the room was honestly looking pretty good and that made her feel proud.

juhyun decided to start getting ready for bed because she had to wake up for school the next morning, so she got in the bathroom and got dressed in the first comfortable thing she could get her hands on.

her new bed was bigger than her older one and looked much more comfortable, she slipped into the sheets getting excited. she loved sleep more than anything in the world.

an hour or so passed and she was still tossing and turning. the mattress was just too soft and comfortable for her liking. she was used to sleeping on a tough small mattress and this was just very new to her.

she huffed and looked around the room, her eyes brightening up at the sight of the window bedding, it was more similar to what she was used to.

she got up from her bed and headed to the window bedding, it felt more uncomfortable which made her feel more comfortable. if that even made any sense.

after minutes of trying to find a good position to sleep in, she closed her eyes and started to fall asleep.
