"Gale, look at his eyes. Oh, Gale." Celeste Freeman held her newborn child, Jay, in her hands. It was the first time he had opened his eyes, and unlike his father, Gale, his eyes were icy blue instead of pitch black. He did not look like his mother either: His mother had dark black hair and golden eyes, like the midnight skies with stars.

"Oh, gosh. Cele, his eyes! No one ever has blue eyes. The only blue eyed child that lived was..." Gale looked at Celeste in fear, "... Lady Selene."

"Princess Selene, Gale. She was the Lady until she was up ranked." Celeste said with a stern look on her face.

"Who actually cares?"

"Why wouldn't they?"

"It's all myths!"

"No they're not!"

"Yes they are!"

"Proof?"

"Not a soul has blue eyes..."

"Jay doesn't have blue eyes?"

"Oh, heavens."

"Darling," Celeste patted Gale on his shoulder, "Our boy is special. We'll have to be harsh, so the Shadow will not appear."

"Alright darlin'. I'll do it."

"Good."
