Chapter 2: Willow
Willow was extremely surprised when she saw Sky-guy swoop down from the skies toward her. In his dive, he had suddenly hit the barriers between the two realms and started to fall at an incredible speed towards the beach. She ran towards him, at super speed, continuing to run as she caught Sky-guy to insure the impact would not have killed him.
"Flower-girl?" Sky-guy had came conscious again, "I never noticed it, but you're kinda hot."
"The name flower-girl is for maidens who throw flowers at the bride and groom at a wedding." Willow grumbled, "I'd rather my real name, Willow, Sky-guy. What's for the heroic appearance."
Sky-guy looked stricken. He most probably never met a girl that didn't coo over him and squeal in delight when they saw him.
"Nice name, Willow. I'm Jay." Sky-guy/Jay shook her hand. He had not noticed someone that was nearby turning the corner in the woods. "Jay Freeman."
"Shut up!" she hissed, grabbing him behind a nearby tree, "Can you turn us invisible or something?" Suddenly, she could no longer see herself, but felt a tugging on her hand, the one she used to shake Jay's hand.
"Sorry. Were you joking about turning invisible? Coz I can, just for the record."
"What?"
"Well, you got da super speed and da saving boys by calculating that you had to run super quick so we wouldn't die..."
"Jay, you're really annoying. Can you turn us back and tell me how you just turned us invisible?" she was already getting frustrated at Jay. He just fooled around.
"Oh, my invisibility. Well, ya know cloud-nymphs can turn to mist?"
"Ya... Duh."
"Well, my mist-form is invisible, but you can see it when it's real cold. But I don't mind the cold coz I'm a pretty hot guy."
Willow grabbed Jay and ran towards the deep forest. She looked around and suddenly, she saw a familiar blond figure running towards her. It was Marigold.
"Willow!" Marigold rushed towards her. "Where have you been? Aren't you supposed to be training? And who is this?"
"Marigold... " Willow was searching her brain for a reasonable excuse, "This is... uh... Winter! He's from one of the colder districts and I've, sorta, communicated with him so, um, we're gonna try and meet our other friend that's from the hotter regions and her name is... uh... Peony." Jay smiled beside her.
"Winter Falconi." Jay put out his hand, "Nice to meet you, Marigold."
"Marigold Goldner!" Marigold smiled like a maniac, the way she did when she became excited, "Nice to meet you too, Winter."
Willow pulled Jay away, waving to Marigold as she made them run to the beach. She needed somewhere that no one could find them, and the beach should be free since the running tracks were far from the seaside. Sea-nymphs didn't appreciate them running near their element. She stumbled to a stop when she saw a small paper... crane? Floating at the edge of the water.
Willow and Jay,
I know you two have met. Dive to me and I'll show you the truth. Now! It is starting to get desperate. I need your help. Please!
Pearl
Jay looked at Willow. "So, Willow Walker." he said with a smirk, "interested to take a dive with me?"
