As soon as me and chica got back to the other side, Jack led us back down to the chapel where everyone was waiting for us. Once everyone saw chica safe and sound it was like Christmas, they had come here to save her and the mission was complete, they did it. Everyone loved chica and was so relieved to see her once again. Plus, she enjoyed all of the attention she got.

The betrothed were now either tied up or knocked out. After everyone got to see chica they started to tie up the remaining followers. Jack began to show me all of the weird stuff on the stage.

"The hell is all of this?" I asked Jack as I looked confusingly at everything on the stage.

"Honestly I don't know, it looks like a satanic ritual that we would normally expect from these guys but the set up is all different. That and I don't recognize any of the symbols they used, besides their own" Jack stated to me also looking as confused as I am.

I didn't recognize the symbols either but I couldn't help this strange feeling that I had seen them before...or like I knew what they meant. I couldn't explain it but this began to worry me.

"You ok mark?" Jack asked with a worried look. I realized I had been staring at this for a while.

"Yea" I said trying not to worry him. "Just heebee jeebeez" I wasn't that convincing but he didn't seem to want to push it.

"Well it looks like this is where they were gonna sacrifice chica" he said motioning to a huge circle with candles around it on center stage. "But, again this is completely different than what these guys normally do, none of it makes sense. Were they trying to summon something else?" he asked confusingly.

I continued looking at the huge circle. "I don't know man" I said with a worried look. I had a gut feeling but I didn't want to admit to it.

"Hey Mark!" wade called walking up the stage. "We have most of em tied up now. What should we do about all of this?" motioning to everything on the stage.

I hesitated before answering while looking at the circle. "I guess we just leave this stuff for the cops to figure out" I shrugged. Really I just wanted to take chica home and forget all about this.

"Alright everyone lets wrap it up and lets go!" wade called to everyone in the huge room.

I was just about to start walking when I felt a force tackle me from behind and a had me pinned down. Then I felt a sharp, stinging pain run across my lower arm.

"Hey! Screw you!" I heard wade shout as he pulled off and slammed whoever was on me. I quickly stood and turned to see it was a follower they hadn't tied up.

"You ok?" I heard Bob calling from over wade.

"I think so" I said reassuringly but I still felt that pain on my arm. I looked to see what it was, a cut. It wasn't bad and didn't hit anything important but there was some blood. "He just got me a little" I told them looking back up while clutching the wound. Then the follower looked up at me with an evil grin.

"The resurrection is now and the master shall return and claim is rightful place. Your worst fear is now!" he stated looking like he accomplished something important.

When I looked back down, I realized I was in the circle. I then looked at my cut, a single drop of blood fell from my hand and hit the floor. I felt a cold shiver down my spine as I knew this wasn't going to be good.

Suddenly, everything was in darkness. I felt like I was floating, but I couldn't see or hear anything. Just the feeling that my worst fear really was coming true. I felt lonely, I felt scared, helpless, it was all horrible. But then, I wasn't floating anymore. Everything was still. I tried to comprehend what was happening and where I was or even what was happening. I found myself staring at the floor not knowing anything and too scared to move.

"Hello Mark" I heard an all too familiar voice call to me that felt like a cold stab to my core. "It has been a while"

I slowly looked up to see him standing right across from. "Did you miss me? I've missed you...SO much" he said staring right at me with those evil eyes that only God wouldn't fear.

"Darky?" I slowly said in a state of shock, not taking my eyes off of him.

"I said we were going to be together forever and I've been waiting patiently all this time" he continued slowly and creepily "and now that your here...we can finally get reacquainted" he said with a sick smile across his face.

Of course, this all made sense now. Everything that had happened as of lately...it was cold, it was calculated and it was classic darkiplier.

"This was all you?" I asked still not fully able to believe this.

"Chica was the reason you betrayed me and if had been her blood...I would've been free" he said slowly with an angry look but then switched back to a smile "but this is just as good" he laughed. "And yes I connected through their minds as I did yours, convincing them all to do my bidding and having it all fall into place.

"You son of a bitch! You?!" I said angrily. "I didn't betray you! I got rid of you because all you ever did was fill my life with fear and anger and you tried to inflict that on all of my viewers! You tried to ruin my life and turn me against everyone!"

"Suffering is all people like you will get in this life, as long as you continue to worry about your subscribers then all you will get is sadness. It would be best to just forget them and let me come back. This world is not worth saving. Its filled with hate and aggression and you can't do anything to save it...and deep down....you know it"

I had to admit, he hit me pretty deeply. This is what he did, he made me doubt myself, made me question what I was doing and why I was here. I started to think about everything wrong with the world and the kind of affect I had on it. Wait, that was it. I started thinking about all of the people who wached me, my loved ones and what they did for me and what Jack had said to me the other night.

"Face it! You need me!" he continued.

"No I don't" I replied after a minute. He gained a look of shock on his face. "This world is worth saving, I know because I've done it time and time again. I've saved people, I showed them how beautiful the world is, I show them that things can get better and I show them that we can all defeat our inner demons" darkiplier was speechless. "You can't have me dark, you can't beat me and most of all, you cannot take away the love I have for this world and everyone in it, especially my friends" I never felt so good to stand up to him and I had never seen the priceless look he had on his face.

"You can't get rid of me, I'll always be right here with you" he replied.

"No, you don't control me dark. You can't destroy my life or tear the people I love away from me. You. Will never. Defeat me" I stated to him

"I already have and you can't make me go away" he immediately replied.

"Yes you did, you made me hate everything, you made me hate myself, you made me afraid of failure and of the people I try to help. But then the people I love and especially chica helped me. They showed me who you really are and they saved me from you. I saw what you wouldn't allow me to see and rised above everything you threw in my way. I know who I am, I know what I do is right and I know what I do is saving people. You will never be able to make me think otherwise. You will never again have any effect on my life or my friend's" I looked him boldly in the eye.

"You can't keep me away I'll come back" he said hesitantly with worry.

"And if you do, I'll send you straight back to hell where you belong" words cannot describe how good I felt or dark's reaction. "I love...all of this" I breathed with tears of joy running down my face. "I will not hate, I will not fear, I will always love....and you will not scare me ever again!" I stated with more confidence than I ever had in my life and with all of my friends, family and especially chica in my thoughts.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!!" he shouted as he obliterated and a huge light bursted, blinding me and knocking me back.

I heard a voice calling my name. It was distant, but then became more and more clearer as my senses were coming back.

"Mark? Mark!" I opened my eyes to see Jack checking on me and everyone else was with him all around me. "Hey! You ok? You had us worried there" he said looking relieved I was awake. I stared speechless at everyone and tried to comprehend everything at once. I slowly sat up with some of the others supporting me. I looked straight at Jack unable to form words. "It was him wasn't it?" he asked with worry.

I smiled at him and said "yea it was, but he's gone now, its over, thanks to all of you" I said looking at all of the people who were there and then saw chica walking up to me whimpering. "Especially you" I continued to smile while petting chica and she licked me happily in return.
