Different start, same ending
Jack woke up in the middle of the sea on the little boat he used on his travels. He took his spyglass and looked the distant shore of Great Iron.
On the land Ambhara, Max and Cedric were trying to find Ruth, disappeared after wearing the ring made of the meteorite.
"There's no point in looking for her." Said Ambhara tired.
"She's right." Replied Max.
"What should we do then?" Asked Cedric.
"We don't have many possibilities." Said the girl taking the little book from her satchel and opening randomly.
"This leads to my mother who is held captive."
In that moment a zeppelin covered the light of the suns. Everybody looked up and tried to understand whom was that metallic structure.
"Captain Thorns." Said Ambhara pressing her hands together.
On the flying ship Aldis was watching down really thrilled by the possibility of living in Great Iron. A man wearing a blue long jacket was standing behind him and was smiling proudly. The monk took out a scroll and handed over the captain.
"This is all you can do with the boxes of weeds they gave to you." He said while they were landing.
"My men will take you safe and sound to the temple." Replied Thorns shaking hands.
"We need to find a way to defeat the necromancer." Said Max.
"How?" Asked Cedric.
" We need more shards."
Jack adjusted the sails of his little boat and proceed full speed ahead to the shores of the island that was once his enemy land. He had a perfect spot to hide the boat so the guards would have never found out his arriving. He was used to cloak himself and become one of the population. He could tell that the city was in ferment for the news of the scarecrows approaching to town and the necromancer menacing the whole group of dry lands. It would have never stopped conquering the world known. While he was lost in his thoughts he heard a noise coming from under the boat. He leaned over and saw a wooden barrel that was carrying a man with a beard and old clothes very dark. He didn't think about it and in few seconds he took a rope and jumped in the water. He swam to the man who had lost consciousness and carried on the boat that was going fast pushed by the strong wind.
"Who are you?" Jack asked whispering.
He checked his breathing and his heart. He was still alive.
Aldis got down the ship and looked around like it was his first moment of life. Everything surprised him, the people, the houses and constructions with flags and clothes hanging from every wall. Two men walked with him to show the direction of the monastery in town. When they reached the stairs of the place they left leaving Aldis all alone. He sat on the stairs of his new home wondering what would have been like being born there and living a normal life. Gazing at nothing he saw a female figure he already knew. He remember the vision and he stood up following the girl who was moving through the crowded streets with two other men. They entered in a tavern and the monk knew it wasn't allowed for him to walk in, so he sat in front of the door, waiting patiently her to come out.
