Prof. Favre stares at TFC within their imprisonment, it was...for the most part interesting to see how they have gone from being high and mighty to someone as lowly as this. It was also painfully familiar, he hated that he could associate himself with TFC, just a little, but unlike TFC, his own circumstances were far worse than what they could ever handle.
He should count himself lucky that he never gone through the same pain that Prof. Favre had gone through himself.
It had resulted in his eye being taken away in a not so pleasant manner.
The physical embodiment of enchantments can be considered curses, as much as they are blessings. To cast one on a living being is essentially a forbidden curse anyways. It was no wonder that Origin could not handle its powers properly to the point that they have reached now.
"Oh how low you fell, The First Curse, you have been trapped in an imprisonment that can not be broken by normal means." Prof. Favre mocked in a cruel smile, he didn't have to see it when he felt the surge of anger radiate from the cursed armor that imprisoned The First Curse.
It made him laugh to see how much anger radiates from such a foolish creation, they are part of the loop, one of the very reasons that it even continues at all. One of the starring actors in this never ending story that continues over and over like a carousel of agony that is always and will be soaked in blood.
"You know, I was like you once before, an extremely long time ago, it was an experience that I can never ever forget. No matter how much I want to, my body will always remember the trauma it had endured." Prof. Favre suddenly started off, earning silence– not a single wave of change from TFC presence. They were intrigued by the tale in which Prof. Favre had begun to weave, it was only fair after all.
This was the first time Prof. Favre was ever willing to tell his own story, even for someone in the loop, TFC will remember anyways. Being one of the key figures in the Loop existence anyways.
This made Prof. Favre giggled as they sip their cup of Hot Chocolate.
"You're trapped in a cage, while I had run away out of pure defiance, as one would say. Or rather, that's how my own Creator would explain it." He answered with a huff as they leaned against the stone wall. "I only ran away for my own survival, even if it means I would have to defy my own creator to free myself."
Judging by how silent TFC had been, they were likely processing just what it is they're saying, almost like they can't believe what they hear. Is it really that surprising? Probably, he never really talked about himself unless he felt like it.
Although...
"Your cage is obvious, mine wasn't. I was trapped in a gilded cage, really, but either way, we both are trapped, but I escaped out of defiance. The chance to live, whereas you?" He suddenly chuckled as he stood up and began to walk away, ignoring the angry lashing of energy from the imprisoned maker of Curses.
He doesn't dare turn to face them, but it was obvious that Prof. Favre is smiling.
"You are trapped in a cage, but that is just one of the many imprisonment you endure. I pity you, truly, but not even your creator can defy the laws of the Loop without ending all of your existence."
With that, Prof. Favre left the cave, ignoring the angry senses of energy from TFC, he ignored that, even when he felt his missing eye ache, but it was worth it. It was worth sacrificing his eye to escape the gilded cage that once bound him to a never ending play.
The Act of Defiance can be a double edge sword, at the end of the day.
