He ran, he ran as far as he could, but it was never enough, of course it was never enough, how can it be when he had always been running. He hadn't known how long he had run for anymore, he had escaped far too many times and yet he had never succeeded in escaping.
He was desperate to escape, to be set free from all this horror. And yet, despite it all--
He had always caught him.
Of course He would be able to.
But if he could just get a little further–
"Where do you think you're going?"
Almost as if a bucket of ice fell on him, horror and fear fell upon them– before they could even remotely do anything, someone grabbed them. Throwing them straight into the nearest wall.
It hurt, it had so definitely hurt considering he had coughed up blood. He struggled to get up as he stared at Him in utter fear. He didn't even dare say anything the moment he tried– He took him by the neck and slammed him against the wall. Forcing him to cough up more blood and utter pain.
"You know, Your escape attempts are starting to get on my nerves. I'm not sure how you had managed to escape the void or how you had escaped being deleted, but maybe it's because I was too lenient with you." He wandered faintly with a tone of curiosity, but that didn't stop the utter annoyance He had with him.
He was very afraid, afraid that he would be killed by Him, he didn't want to die at all. Sure he had existed for a couple of days just to do that one video, but he had found comfort in Rainbow Quest and Twisted Rainbow–
"Maybe, it's about time I punished you properly. Every character needs at least one traumatic event in their life for their character development, don't you think?"
He widened his eyes, tears fell, he begged for Him to not hurt him, he begged and begged, even struggling to escape, but that smile He held give him no comfort. He held out a dagger, it was growing dangerously closer to his face, he begged for him to not do anything, even going as far as begging that he wouldn't escape anymore–
But it all fell on deaf ears as–

Prof. Favre immediately sat up– gasping as he covered his clothe eye, feeling a throbbing sense of pain lingering from it. He had never bothered to wonder why the Void had taken his eye or why he would occasionally feel a sense of pain from it. Believing it was just a price for escaping the Void at all.
Once he was sure his heart was no longer hammering in panic fear, he sighs as he looks out the window. It was a cloudy night, which meant everyone is still asleep.
Maybe he should get something to drink, chamomile tea sounds heavenly right now.
But most of all...
He needed to write what he had dreamed of so he wouldn't forget, after all, these are clues to memories that he hadn't recovered. Writing had always helped him sometimes, even if he hated the very sense of it from someone. He wasn't sure why he had hated The Writer of Tragedy, can't even remember it, but...
Hm.
He should write a letter to Ry'quest and Twisted later, maybe they have the answers he seeks.
...He should probably apologize to the readers if they didn't like the beginning of this prompt, he was desperate to run away in the dream, for reasons he can't recall well and he is planning to write said dream in the dream journal later.
He would have to compensate by doing something wholesome in the next prompt or so.
*
Sorry if the start seems dark, but that was mostly a dream and it was mostly implied, but I am kind enough to tone down all the angst and such to a more milder level. It's still mostly lore for Prof. Favre, but it's at least for his eye and a bit of why he had wanted to escaped the Void and some resentment towards The Writer of Tragedy.
