Galaxy didn't really know what to think of his family here, nor his life for that matter. From the moment he was created, he was greeted by the sight of Professor Favre. His Dad, the professor, may not be used to being referred to as a dad, but he certainly didn't stop Galaxy from calling him as such from time to time.
This of course didn't go unnoticed by Rainbow Assistant.
They both are his siblings and therefore, all three of them have the Professor as their dad.
Except, only he was the one to actually call the Professor, Dad, unlike them. It was strange to think about, really, he didn't know why he was the only one to call him dad. Perhaps, it was because he's physically and mentally younger than his siblings or perhaps it's because he was created in a different manner than them. He wasn't sure and he didn't mind it too much.
He was the favorite child, not that he would ever tell his siblings.
He doubts they're blood related, Steves aren't naturally related, but maybe it had to do with the energy, but he doesn't know. He also doesn't want to learn and that's for the best, research involving life and energy goes under Rainbow line of work, he wasn't sure why, but that was what Dad had decided.
He may not know why his siblings are out to kill each other or trying to get their Dad to make them do work in the form of punishment, but he suppose he had it easier than any of them. Not because he's their Dad's favorite, but because unlike them, he was created to be related to their Dad in terms of energy.
What does he mean by that?
Simply put, they all know that their Dad, the Professor, has an ancient otherworldly Star shaped artifact acting as his heart. He had used just a tiny fragment of it in the creation of his own core. The very Star Core that created Galaxy. Hence why he's considered the most likely to be related via energy. Of course, even if he wasn't related to Prof. Favre, he would still consider them family regardless.
In the end, he has the greatest yet most difficult research field possible.
Astronomy.
He wasn't sure why he was given such research and he knows it can't be due to his nature as a Galaxy Steve, but he can't help but wonder if maybe– it's a research meant to help his Dad one way or another. After all, their Dad has an Otherworldly Star Artifact as their heart, so of course there's bound to be some concerns.
And yet...
Galaxy hums as they stopped reading the latest astrology book they had to look out the window of their room. A room that's specially themed after the Constellations itself, as he gazed at the beautiful sky full of the stars and constellations that could be seen.
He knows for a fact that the sky he sees now shouldn't be possible, not in a normal, natural sense. After all, who can say that they get to gaze at the Universe itself every night? Not many, really. This an unnatural world they live in– or could it even be considered a world? He knows that his Dad had explained how the world they live in is constantly moving, much like a comet constantly moving or a shooting star that endlessly moves world to world.
Their home wasn't a world or anything.
It just exists between The Void and The Universe itself.
Nonetheless, he continues to gaze at the seas of stars that covered the sky, it was always a beautiful sight and it is one he will always cherish. It's a good thing he's a night owl, but he supposed, by the time morning comes around, he would be sleepy, but that's okay.
His Dad wouldn't mind letting it slide if it was for the purpose of research anyways.
The joy of being the favorite child.

Yep, another extremely rare and wonderful miracle that is comforting fluff and majority of it consists of Galaxy calling Prof. Favre his dad and being known as the favorite child.
