"Let me play with it! Please! It's a ball and a ball is the center of the universe!" Mel yipped, jumping around excitedly as his owner Hank worked on hanging Christmas ornaments on the tree. But to the pug puppy, they looked like shiny tennis balls.

"Mel, be careful," Hank murmured, watching his step as he tried hanging up the ornaments. The puppy was making it difficult though to move around. Sighing, he came up with an idea. Finding what he was looking for, he held up a tennis ball and cried, "Look what I got!"

"BALL!" Mel howled, bouncing up and down. The moment Hank tossed it across the living room, the pug puppy tore after it like a speeding bullet.
