Once all of the songs are sung, everyone has fun in the snow and then has lunch after.

During lunch, Laura feels a sharp pain in her lower abdomen and sees blood spreading along her shorts.

Laura is taken into a back room and operated on. The amniotic sacs are taken out and placed in special wombs to support them and Laura is stitched up and the bleeding is stopped.

The midwife comes back to everyone and tells them what happened.

Josie: Laura is doing fine. We had to do an emergency C-section to remove the amniotic sacs. Her body was rejecting the pregnancy, so I removed the sacs and placed them in a man made womb so that they can survive. I also stopped the bleeding. Laura should be on bed rest for at least a week, and then we can send the womb home so she and Jordan can watch over the twins.

Jordan. Thank you so much for saving them and Laura. I don't think I could live with myself if any of them had died.

Josie. You're welcome. Would you like to see her?

Jordan. Yes, please.

The two of them go to Laura's recovery room, and Jordan sits down next to her. Laura wakes up and smiles at him.

Jordan. Hey.

Laura. Hey. I guess I'm technically not pregnant anymore.

Jordan. Yeah, I guess not. But they are growing in the man made womb. I wish they could continue growing inside of you, so that you could have a  baby bump, and give birth, and breastfeed them, but as long as they are safe in the artificial womb, that's all that matters.

Laura. I agree.

They kiss sweetly and then carefully curl up in each other's arms and fall asleep.

Later that night, everyone has dinner and watches the news. They see that the man that burned down the cabin and killed the Barrington family, was Caleb and he is now in a maximum security prison.

Everyone finishes their dinner and fall asleep in their respective beds. During the night, a giant snow storm comes through, and prevents anyone from leaving.
