I came to a dead stop outside the door on the sixth floor that leads to the office's,I can't believe Kyle just asked me that
"Did you seriously just ask me to cross a line?" I said not looking at him
"What line?" Kyle asked confused
"I dated your father for a few years,I'm not crossing the line by going out with his son" I said angrily
"But why not,it's not like your dating him any more." Kyle asked" Plus we would make a much better couple" I didn't answer him,I pushed open the door and headed for the person at the end of the corridor.

"Excuse me can you tell me where Maddox Huxtable is?" I asked the man in the dark blue suit
"What do you want with Maddie?" the man asked
"She is a person of interest in a on going murder case" I said
"Oh I see" the man said" Well Maddie isn't here at the moment,she is on holiday"
"Can you tell us where?" Kyle asked
"Portland" the man said
"I'm also going to need all the information you have on her" I added,ten minutes later I am back outside the building waiting for Frank to return. Thankfully I didn't have to wait very long,we drove back to the lab and Frank went off with Kyle to handle the info on Maddox.

I looked around for H,I have to tell him about what his son said to me. But he isn't around at the moment, so I made myself busy as far away from Kyle as I could get. Unfortunately though since H was so busy I didn't actually get to have a proper talk with him for the rest of the day. I had to head out early to inform my step dad about the ongoing case,so he could inform his mother. When I got back home,I left a voicemail for Horatio asking him to call me . Half an hour later H called
"You asked for me to call you,you mentioned it is important" Horatio said
"Yes it is" I said" I think I know what your son is keeping from you?"
"How do you know,did he tell you?" Horatio asked.

"Yes but it's more than likely not what you think " I said
"Well then perhaps I shouldn't know" Horatio said
"Trust me H,you need to hear this one" I said
"Well since you sound very serious,then you should tell me" Horatio said
"I believe your son Kyle has a thing for me,as he asked me out on a date earlier in the day" I said,the other end is silent for a few moments
"I'm sorry did you just say Kyle asked you out?" Horatio asked
"Yes that's what I said,Kyle asked if I was seeing anyone and then said he wants to go out with me some time and thinks we would make a much better couple than we did " I said.

"And what did you say?" Horatio said,his voice calm so it's hard to tell if he is angry or not.
"I said no because that is a line I wouldn't cross" I said
"You are right Y/n,that is something I never thought of that my own son is keeping from me" Horatio said" I'll see you tomorrow at the lab."
