The celebration of life
turned rueful;
the bridegroom
locked out
of His own wedding feast.
Christmas,
a cheer to
many who jeer;
at the reason
for the celebration.
Hiding under the guise
of tinsels and mistletoes
while they bled out His heart,
on the day
He was birthed
for their sake,
till it could bleed no more.
