Forgot for the Last Time
"Thank god you got here."
"I always deliver."
"When you say always you mean sometimes."
"Where do I put this?"
"Oh put that in the fridge, and leave the other thing in the drawer, but be careful and don't let anyone see you."
"The other thing?"
"You're joking right?"
"Of course I'm joking! I bought it!"
"You almost got me for a minute."
"But let's pretend it wasn't a joke. What are you talking about?"
"You forgot... you've really forgotten... I can't believe it..."
"Calm down, I'm sure we can work it out."
"Are you crazy? You really don't know what I'm talking about?"
"I really don't."
"Take a look at this. Do you remember now?"
Diana was pointing a gun right at Brian's head.
"Well, now do you remember?"
"Diana what are you doing?" Brian asked starting to freak out now.
"You all ways forget the simplest things. I asked you to bring me some bloody peppermint tea for my nerves, but you forgot. AGAIN!"
"Diana relax I'll go get your tea right now."
"NO! It's too late. You have forgotten something for the last time."
Diana pulled the trigger, but nothing happened. She tried again but still nothing.
"You should check to make sure your gun is loaded before you shoot." A voice said.
Both Diana and Brian looked towards the voice and saw to their surprise a man, in a blue suit, was leaning against the wall playing with the bullets in his hand. The man had perfect gold hair that fell to his shoulders like a cloud, and eyes as blue like a crisp summer sky.
"What are you doing in my house, and who are you? Diana asked and pointed the gun at the man.
"What are you going to do with that?" The man asked in an amused voice.
"I-I..."
"Put the gun down and I'll answer your questions."
Diana threw the gun at Chris, but Chris reached out easily and caught the gun effortlessly.
"Such manners! Well since you did put the gun down I'll answer you. My name is Chris, and I am here to kill you, Diana."
Brian looked from Diana to Chris and started backing up towards the door slowly.
"Where do you think you're going? Chris asked.
"It seems like your having lots of fun with Diana, so I'll just be on my way," Brian stated.
"Hmm... I guess you can leave." Chris said with a shrug.
Brian ran out of the door and drove off.
"He could have said thank you," Chris stated annoyed.
"What about me Mr. Blue dude? Can I leave?" Diana asked.
"Um no, you can't leave. Didn't you hear what I told you? I'm going to kill you. How am I going to kill you if you leave? Then I'd have to find you all over again, and I have much better things to do than that."
"But why do you want to kill me? I haven't done anything."
"Oh my god your so right. Killing three hundred innocent people because they voted for another governor isn't anything. Not to mention attempted murder against Brian, plus calling me Mr. Blue dude doesn't add to that." Chris stated sarcastically.
"So what if I did that. Why does it matter to you?"
"So you admit to killing the people?"
"I do."
"That's good. Now maybe we can settle on a decent punishment for you." Chris stated as he sat down on the kitchen table.
"Come on dude I just cleaned that."
"Well maybe if you were nicer to me and stopped calling me dude or Mr. Blue dude I'd be nicer to your stuff."
Diana folded her arms and said nothing.
"That's what I thought. So how can we get down to business?"
"Do you really have to kill me? I mean it's not like those people didn't have it coming."
"The fact that you just said that means that I have to kill you."
"Well if you have to kill me then can you make it painless?"
"Hmm... I think I might be able to do that."
"Great you already have the gun so let's get this over with."
"Don't rush me," Chris said in a hushed voice.
Chris then put the bullets he had in his hand on the table standing up, one by one. He then looked at Diana picked up one of the bullets and threw it at her. The bullet stopped right before it got to her and was looking at her.
"What the hell is this!"
"Since you decided to rush me I'm going to kill you very painfully and very slowly."
Chris then picked up all the bullets and threw them all at Diana. The bullets stopped right before they hit her, just like the other one.
"You see those bullets are looking at all the spots that are going to hurt you very slowly."
"What! You said you were going to make this painless!"
"No, you said that. If you hadn't rushed me it would have been easier for you, but too late now."
"Wait, no!"
"Good day Diana."
With that, Chris got off the table, walked to the front door, and snapped his fingers.
The bullets unfroze and went slowly into Diana causing her to scream in pain, but she felt frozen and could not move.
Chris walked out the door and said, "That'll teach you for calling me, dude."
