Where despite the second dance seems so brutal and aggressive, at the end all ends up relatively good.

The music that started playing was calm but fast, gradually more and more violins were heard and a cello. All monsters around Fuku were dancing and moving to the rhythm, each and every single one in their own way. So many different moves that seemed to respond perfectly to the music.

With the only similarity being that they were all dancing and moving clockwise. Magically and out of nowhere, in the hands of the dancers appeared long black shawls which they moved gracefully to the rhythm. And a few seconds after suddenly, with one last abrupt swing, the shawls were stuck to them.

Now they were completely covered in black. Fuku was staying motionless in the middle of the circle all this time. She wasn't dancing. Instead she had bended her knees lightly and staying on guard while looking around at all monsters circling her.

And suddenly, (at 0:11) the first attack occurred. To Fuku's left a ginger cat with intensive turquoise eyes and big fluffy tail started coming towards her leaping jumping and backflipping, generally doing acrobatics. Behind the green flame a big sized fire salamander just dashed at her.

Understanding the attack behind her back, gracefully Fuku stepped to the right. As the salamander ran-passed her she fired at them, causing them to fly and almost hit one of the monsters that were still dancing. Geno clenched his teeth to that, almost feeling phantom pain from what happened.

But seeing the salamander just coming back to the circle and dancing as if they were never blasted away, he wondered and at the same time sighed, a tiny bit relieved. However the ginger cat then, assumingly a male, spitted and fire came out of his mouth.

Fuku bended backwards gracefully, avoiding at the very last moment the fire. But that seemed to work more as a distraction because the cat found the opportunity to approach and kick, aiming for the green flame's head. Geno covered with his hands his mouth, preventing the gasp of surprise and agony that threatened to escape him.

Luckily Fuku was faster once again, grabbed the cat's leg and then placing her hand on his chest blasted him away, sending him a few meters up in the air. But don't worry, as we know, cats land on their fours🤷🏽‍♀️😃. Not even 2 seconds after the first 2 opponents were 'eliminated' and just returned to the circle (at 0:27), 2 more stepped up.

The first being a bear monster, mainly brown with fur fading to maroon. The other seemed like a metallic knight figure, except their eyes from the opening of the helmet were emitting a hellish orange color. They were both in Fuku's field of view, the second one just a little bit more to her right.

"But won't the armor melt?" Geno thought. Suddenly the armor from the knight's left arm fell off revealing a limb purely made out of lava. Soon that formed into a fat whip. "Nope, screw that, he's simply lava underneath there, he will withstand the heat! He must be a monster ghost genetically capable to posses the fire element huh?" The small skeleton thought now, terrified as he saw the knight swinging that whip arm at Fuku vertically 3 times, who dodged all attacks but on the 3rd from inattention fell right into the bear monster's arms.

They wrapped their big arms around her neck and kept her in one place. Fuku tried to break free but against the bear's strength that was impossible. The knight figure raised again their whip arm aiming for the green flame. Geno almost literally started nibbling the tips of his fingers from agony once again.

"No hard feelings Arcado!" Fuku suddenly said loud enough and stepped on the bear monster's foot. Who growled surprised from pain and moved just enough for the knight's whip to find instead of Fuku, Arcado.

The bear monster growled again from the second hit and his grip relaxed. Fuku broke free. When the knight tried to hit the green flame again, moving the whip horizontally, Fuku instead of avoiding his attack she allowed the whip wrap around her left wrist.

Then she held with her right hand the whip tightly and with a seemingly impossible for her to exist strength, doing it at the same time with amazing gracefullnes, she swung the knight towards Arcado, hitting him and almost sending both monsters flying towards the crowd that was watching in agony and shock.

"Should I worry for the bride more or for her opponents after all?" Geno thought half-surprised, half-scared from what Fuku was doing.

However, like the first 2 monsters, the bear and the ghost in metal armor returned to the circle of the dancers and kept vibing to the rhythm without showing that they were hurt by the fact that a much smaller than them in size green flame woman sended the one flying at the other a few seconds ago 😄👌🏽.

And again, right after the second pair returned to the circle (at 0:41), another entered. This time they were 2 big fire snakes with a devilish dark red color starting from their head and fading to the tail to a sick white-yellow color. These 2 didn't even wait, they immediately just dashed at Fuku with their mouths open.

This round was constant dodging, jumping and attacking from both sides. The serpents would whether throw fire from their mouth at Fuku, dash to bite, or wrap around her. Fuku was trying to blast them but the opponents were always slipping away and dodging gracefully. However the green flame didn't seem frustrated at all.

Maybe starting to get tired from the constant intensive dancing, dodging and fighting, but not frustrated. In fact her face seemed to have something mischievous as she made the snakes attack her, at the very last moment dodge them and even taunt them to come at her.

Playing with her luck much? Geno was shocked how quick her reflexes were though, but confused about what she was trying to do. Soon that was answered as Fuku suddenly stopped moving and danced in a taunting way, provoking the snakes to attack her again. But they didn't.

The young green flame had played them- rather danced them so well they hadn't realise they were twisting with each other. Eventually they seemed like a ball of twirled scales. Fuku approached calmly without any fear that the snakes would be able to attack her and pushed them with force out of the circle.

"Yyyooo, someone untie our friends here while we're proceeding!" Danarei suggested cheerfully. As the new opponents were approaching Fuku (at 0:58), indeed Geno saw small children approaching the fire snakes giggling amused.

Even though at the same time they were helping to untie them. But he quickly turned again to see the next round since he didn't want to get distracted much from watching the marriage. Now there was a panther monster and another monster ghost. Without vessel however.

Just a dark red shade with 2 pupils, mouth and a vertical line for nose. It's soul could be seen glowing inside it's body. That ghost did what Geno remembered Alter telling him from the last things about ghosts and so much had creeped him out: straight out went and entered Fuku's body.

The icon of the green flame suddenly jolting and spasming as if she had seizures, trying to keep her balance had brought to the small skeleton ugly shivers. However it didn't seem exactly as if the ghost wanted to fully posses Fuku.

Rather to only keep her motionless. Made sense. The panther monster easily dropped the green flame on the ground and got on top of her. At the same time the ghost was seen leaving her body and just watching. Perhaps because it wanted to leave their partner finish the job, or to not get hurt too if it stayed in the body. But if you were to ask,

Rookie mistake.

Once the green flame was freed from the ghost, at the very last moment she moved her head to the right the time the panther's paw was about to slam her face. Without hesitation she wrapped her arms around the other monster's waist.

And then, unexpectedly she managed to roll over, on top of him. But then the other moved his right arm and to Geno's shock saw Fuku flying back and falling on her back. When she stood up she shook head left and right. Now she seemed angry from the hit.

"Sh*t. Truly in this dance no one holds back their strength." Geno thought. The panther attacked again but Fuku held him from his wrists. The 2 started a competition, the one trying to push the other back.

The ghost flew and tried to posses Fuku once again from behind. But the green flame wasn't going to get possessed twice tonight. Oh no. At the very last moment she suddenly used more strength and pushed back the panther a tiny bit. Then bended. The ghost possessed it's partner, causing him to start jolting and paralyse.

After that, Fuku blasted the pair out of the circle, finally getting rid of them too. Geno realised the panther hadn't even use fire powers. But perhaps he was simply fireproof. Maybe that bear from before too. In such dance like tonight, monsters like these were allowed, it was said.

Now the next opponents seemed easy. (at 1:12) a Vulkin monster and a flame figure with similar body type as Fuku and Grillby but as small as an 1 year old baby entered the circle. Despite the small size, the little flaming guy immediately attacked Fuku and with an incredible speed started dashing around her.

Geno found himself almost unable to follow that monster's movement. He had actually did manage to hit 2 times Fuku's face, causing her to stumble by the speed and force of the hits. However after staying on guard and with some patience, Fuku managed to grab the small flame man with her hands.

"It's just a joke sis!" He said and chuckled awkwardly. Fuku rolled her eyes and still holding the little guy approached the Vulkin that had done nothing except daydreaming as if it had forgotten it was in a battle. The green flame putted the little man in the little volcano's crown on top of it's head.

"Do you want a hug buddy?" She asked cheerfully.

"Don't let her hug you, we talked about hugs!!!" The little flame guy yelped. But the Vulkin seemed excited.

"Yay yay! I want a hug!" He said in a childish voice and hearts in the place of the eyes.

Fuku picked up the little volcano and squeezed him tightly. So tightly the little flame man flew out of the circle towards Geno. The poor skeleton squirmed and hissed, almost fell off Alter's shoulder seeing the flame monster coming at him at such speed. Luckily Alter was fast enough to use telekinesis and stop the little flame guy.

"Thank you SO much sir!" He said looking at Alter smiling. The priest putted him down slowly and the flame ran back to the other fire monsters.

"My life saver!" Geno shout-whispered.

"Don't let the panic get the best of you and stop you from acting." Alter adviced.

"Do you ever panic?" Geno asked.

"Well, just now seeing the little gentleman flying at us, I was a little worried that he might hit you. But instead of freezing I acted. Just like how I had to act back in Vilanterna when realising you had leave and before that guy kidnaps you. Oh, I felt I almost lost 10 years from my life then!" Alter said.

"Ah that. I'm sorry ok?!"

"I know you are sorry, I know. It is fine. But I just told you that yes, I panic too sometimes." The taller said. Meanwhile Fuku was pushing gently away the Vulkin monster.

"You did perfect little man. Go back to the others, there there." She said. The Vulkin, still with hearts in his eyes got away and kept dancing with the other fire monsters.

After so much fighting and beating, that round was certainly fluffy. Now at (at 1:32) a Pyrope and a male lion monster stepped up. The big feline roared at Fuku and from his mouth fire came out. From Fuku's hands came out green fire and the 2 exchanged forces, almost reaching the crowd from how strongly they collided.

"Woaaah!" Geno did.

The Pyrope threw its first magic attacks at Fuku, bombs! The bride avoided them all before they could explode near her, while at the same time avoiding the lion monster, who except from firing at her was also dashing. The Pyrope tried again and this time it's attacks looked like ropes which had in between little flames.

Fuku started avoiding again the attacks, all gracefully or rather, she was running towards them, passing through the flames. On the last magic attack however, she actually grabbed the rope, swung it and wrapped it around both her opponents, getting them tied up.

"Clever." Geno simply said and Alter nodded in agreement. Fuku blasted out her tied up opponents.

"HOT! HOT! HOTTER BABYYY!" The Pyrope was heard yelling excited as it flew out of the arena with the lion monster. Fuku seemed to be smiling triumphantly, her eyes were betraying the most of it.

But then (at 1:47) Pyros attacked her from behind with his right fist being surrounded by fire. At the very last moment the green flame prevented to avoid him. But she wouldn't rest soon, as now Tefra summoned a blaster, which opened it's mouth and shot at her.

"Wait wait wait! Why is it all of a sudden THIS difficult?!" Geno yelped who started squirming on Alter's shoulder.

This round had suddenly become really intensive, constant attacking and dodging, magic was flying everywhere in the white circle. Fuku was blocking the attacks, running and maneuvering, at times attacking too but mostly it seemed as distraction so she could buy time.

Well, attacking is the best defence they say 🤷🏽‍♀️☺. There was rage and seemingly hostility in the goat siblings' eyes, which were glowing an intensive magenta color as they were attacking without hesitation. Many times they were teleporting close to Fuku, going for obvious hits, their hands filled with flames.

Despite such intensive fight, no one had managed to harm each other. All that fitted in so little seconds. And Fuku had gotten really exhausted. It was even more obvious on her. Her chest was going up and down quite fast, showing she needed air. Her hands and legs were shaking from fatigue.

But she had to carry on a little longer. Just that. And if she was still standing, she would pass her labour. Suddenly the Infernal siblings stopped moving and attacking. Completely. Instead they teleported away. All fire monsters that were constantly dancing suddenly stopped moving too (at 2:00).

"Here comes her final opponent." Alter said smiling lightly.

"You did well young monster. You sure are trained well. But now let's see how you battle against him." The Judex' voice was heard grim and serious. At last, Grillby entered the circle.

Unlike any other dancer, he was walking slowly and calmly. But then he sighed and raised hands in the air. Geno watched shocked as flames danced and swirled around the flaming man's hands, taking a shape. Soon a sword made out of pure fire and lava was on his hands. And with that he suddenly dashed at his daughter.

All of a sudden Fuku seemed unable to attack or fight back, only dodging and walking backwards. She seemed completely unwilling to do the slightest attack to her dad. Suddenly as Grillby swung his sword again and Fuku bended, he moved his leg and with lightning speed kicked her with all might he had at her side.

"He didn't hold back on that kick..." Shocked, Geno watched as the green flame flew a few steps away and tried to stand up holding her side.

She was clearly in pain, as her eyes were also betraying. Grillby approached with fast steps, no hesitation in his moves. Unreadable as his expression was, Geno realised that the flame man would probably keep going on beating up Fuku without holding back at all if she wasn't doing something.

"Stop holding back. Just imagine me as the one face you hate the most in this world. Just what would happen if they were me right now? Ł ə t t h ə m k ī ł ł y ø u ?" Grillby was heard, questioning at the end in a more creppy voice.

Geno was ready to cover his eyesocket, scared and agitated about what would happen. But Grillby's suggestion suddenly worked wonders on the young green flame. Fuku stopped showing pain and hesitation. Her little eyes were now filled with anger.

Grillby raised his sword ready for a blow. But then (at 2:24) a passionate war cry escaped the young green flame and despite her pain, with an even faster move than when her dad kicked her, she punched him on the side of his face hard. Grillby stepped back, his glasses fell off and so did his magic sword.

The moment the weapon touched the ground, it melted and got destroyed. But Grillby didn't fall down. He stood for a while holding his cheek and seemed... disoriented as he tried to look around. Right. How well could he see now without glasses? But soon his expression focused at Fuku completely.

"Ok. I might not see well, but that doesn't make me blind." He just said and suddenly fired at the green flame, exactly where she was. The other did the same and their flames collided. But then, still holding up their flames, they started approaching each other, closer and closer.

"What are they doooing?!" Geno yelped shocked. What would happen now? The music was about to end soon, that's how the small skeleton was hearing it.

Indeed the melody (at 2:39) started relaxing betraying it would soon end. Father and daughter were now really close about 2 breaths away from each other and still firing their attacks, the flames were growing wilder and wilder. Moments before the music stopped, a last explosion was heard.

Grillby and Fuku were lost from everyone's view. Geno scanned the white circle area shocked. Where were they? The smoke slowly started clearing and at last, the 2 flameheads could be seen standing a little further away from each other still standing as if they would keep fighting.

Both seemed ok though. If they were standing 🤷🏽‍♀️. Nobody spoke, nobody moved. They were waiting for what? The Judex slowly entered the circle and stood between the bride and her father. After that he kept a few seconds silence before turning to look at Fuku, approach and hold her hands.

"Woman, tonight you proved your strength and worth more than enough." He then held her right hand and raised it in the air. He continued talking in a louder voice so everyone could hear more clearly. "You've proved you're as strong as the other ones from us who control the flames. You are welcomed to join your forces with ours in a time of need." The crowd went crazy clapping and cheering the very next moment. Geno whistled loudly.

All fire monsters that participated and a while ago were so hostile towards Fuku in the dance (except from the Vulkin probably) approached the bride and once the Judex stepped back, they all hugged her. Except from Grillby, who was just standing and probably looked like he still had a hard time find his orientation.

"Someone find and give back Mr. Grillby's glasses and a shirt! Cause I have the feeling it suddenly got hotter in here~" Danarei said, on the 2nd half in a playful way.

Indeed, from the time the battle ended, Grillby's torso was exposed. Whatever thing he was wearing and was supposed to be fireproof had burned! On the Tiefling's words he touched his shoulder. A few seconds later he pinched the bridge of where his nose would be if there was.

all grillby stans and simps be like:

"... De novo não..." He said quietly. 2 monsters hurried to enter the circle.

The one went to get Grillby's glasses from the ground. The other indeed was holding a shirt for him. Geno looked around. Many women were now staring at the flame man in adoration, with hypnotized-like expressions. Well, which woman wouldn't stare? The guy was FINE! He had ABS- ok wait stop.

"Never have I thought the metaphorical and literal definition of hot could be combined together in one." Geno said unconsciously. Too late to take it back.

"Mmm, you like it?" Alter teased and Geno wished for the ground to open up and swallow him, or shove his head in a barrel of water so his boiling face could cool down.

"S-Silence!" He stuttered looking away.

"Statements Mister Grillby! So many ladies admire you, do you ever wish to find a new partner too?" Danarei asked teasingly. Grillby didn't respond immediately. But once he buttoned all buttons of the shirt given to him and putted on his glasses, he looked at Danarei and crossed arms.

"I know you don't mean it in a bad way Miss Danarei. But for the time being the only new member I want to welcome in my family is my grandchild." He then looked at Fuku and suddenly the flames on his head swayed playfully. "You know what to do honey later, if it is all over successfully." He said. Fuku didn't respond, she just lowered head and the flames there grew wilder. Her whole head was now a darker green color. Skate could be seen a few meters away covering her face groaning.

"Wait- is Fuku supposedly blushing now?" Geno asked raising brow.

"I do think so." Alter said chuckling quietly.

"Daaad." Fuku whined embarrassed.

"Alright alright, I'm sorry. Now, you hugged the others, come and give your parent a hug too." Grillby said as he approached her with opened arms and at last, like the other fire monsters he closed her into a warm hug. Fuku hugged back as if they weren't fighting aggressively a while ago. The crowd cheered and applauded.

"Aaaw." Many of the monsters did.

But anyways Geno could realise that despite everything, the hits exchanged were not with bad intentions. It was brutal, yes, but it was part of the monster marriage ceremony. There was nothing to stop such thing. At least now it was over. Fuku had overcome her dance. That was important.

"Congratulations now to both brides for overcoming their dances separately!" Danarei spoke again. "We are genuinely happy too for the 2nd success done by Miss Fuku! I do feel positive their 3rd dance will be successful too. But now! May the brides step aside and enjoy the dances you all citizens have!"

apologies for being this late. such chapter made me many times loose my focus and motivation. but it's done now. and i hope you enjoyed. now though buckle up, because i do believe you're absolutely going to love the next 2 chapters, maybe even the 3rd. they will have what i months ago promised you'll get (referring especially to the most thirsty for afterdeath readers 😏)
