It is six pm and as I expected, Ethan has come to pick me up from the restaurant. It's also raining.

"Hey"I say as soon as I get inside the car.

"Hello"He replies curtly and soon focuses on driving.

I stare at him with a mischievous smile and smirk and he looks at me too.

"What?"He asks raising his eyebrows.

"Oh, don't play dumb with me.You thought I wouldn't know? "
I say.

"Huh? Know what?"He asks.

"How about if you start explaining how a box of candies,chocolates and a teddy bear got to me today in the morning? "
I blabber and I can clearly tell that he's trying so hard to fight back a smile.

"I don't know anything about it"
He replies.

"Fine then, you don't want to admit it"I say.

"I didn't order for anything"
He reply.

Suddenly ,three messages pop up on his phone he put on the armrest in the car.

I quickly grab it and gosh!
The messages are from a girl.I roll my eyes as I scroll to read it.

I know this is very awkward but I miss you.

"Awww looks like playboy has got some messages from one of his chicks"

I say playfully even though I'm a bit jealous.

He quickly turns and yanks the phone from my hand.
He stops the car and starts to read the message.

He starts to get tensed as he looks like he's going to smash the phone any minute from now.

"What happened"I ask.

"Nothing.."He replies as he grits his teeth.

"What do you mean by nothing?"
I ask curiously.

"I said nothing, don't you get it.And about this...She's not my chick. Why are you so nosy and go about interfering in other people's lives? What even gives you the slightest hope that I'll like a girl like you and go all the way to send you chocolates, candies and a teddy bear? You know, you can do me a favour by shutting up your mouth so that I can drive home in peace."

He growls as tears sting my eyes and threaten to run down my cheeks any time soon.

"You know what, I wouldn't even fall for a guy who has such a big ego like you.You're selfish. You don't care about other people's emotions. You just hurt them anytime you want"

I shout and scream with my voice raspy from crying so much.

I quickly pick my bag, ready to open the door when I felt his hands on my arm.
"No, please don't go.I'm sorry"
He says, his voice breaking slightly.

"Get your hands off me"
I scream before slamming the door shut with all my might.
It's raining heavily but I decide to walk in the rain even though I know it's not good.

It's getting late and there are no cabs on the road.I continue walking despite the horrible theft stories I've heard of that takes place on this street.

I think of Elsie and I pick my cell phone to call her.Great! My battery's dead...In the middle of a rainy evening!

That's just what I needed, I think as I sigh to myself and continue walking.

I'm feeling very cold and I'm shivering so badly that I'm surely going to catch a cold.
I should have listened to him..Even though he insulted me...
