I muttered something and slightly open my eyes to adjust to the sunlight that was reeking through the room. The sun was peeking from the east and the sky was beautifully lit and blue. My eyes darted to Ethan who was sitting in a couch by the bed.

Was he watching me this whole time?

"Hey beautiful"

I smiled at him warmly but suddenly winced. My head was throbbing badly and it really hurt.

"My head's hurting pretty badly"

I placed my palm over my forehead and hissed, muttering  under my breath.

"Hangover"
Ethan gave a short chuckle.

"You probably had too much vodka"
He said and smirked at me.

"But last night was fun"

My eyes widened in horror. What did he mean by that?

"Did we-"

I stopped abruptly and lifted the blanket on me to stare underneath it. I sighed in relief to see my clothes intact. Seeing the look on my face, Ethan burst out laughing.

"Come on Emily. You know I'd never do that to you. I'd never take advantage of you"

He said and shot me a genuine smile that reached even his eyes.

"What about Elsie and Bennett"
I asked.

"After watching the movies, they went to the balcony to talk privately so I guessed they returned to their rooms after that"

He said, handing me over some pills I assumed to be painkillers and a glass of water.

"What are those?"
I asked deliberately wanting to annoy him.

"Oh these are broomsticks. I got it off the broom of the wicked witch of the east in Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz"
He replied and rolled his eyes.

I laughed at him and collected the pills from him. My head was killing me. I sipped the water first and then swallowed the pills before emptying the remaining contents of the glass. I thanked him for the pills and the glass of water.

I pulled him closer to me as I lay on my back,making him face me.

"I must admit that your cockiness and sarcastic remarks is sometimes a turn on for me"

I said and hang my arms around his neck, drawing him closer till I could feel his peppermint smell caressing my skin gently and spreading tingles all over my body.

"And I must admit that I love it when you get feisty sometimes"

He said and kissed my cheek. He pulled the blanket to cover me.

"Go back to sleep. When you wake, I want you to meet my brother "

He kissed my forehead and then exited the room. I grinned wildly and closed my eyes, slipping back into sleep.

I felt relieved and refreshed as I stretched and dragged myself out of Ethan's bed. I headed towards my room and found Elsie talking to her mother on the phone.

"Hey Emily. I was telling mom about the birthday party"

"That's nice"
I responded with a warm smile.

"So did you guys...you know-"
Elsie said, winking and giggling mischievously at me.

I arched my brows at her, guessing what she was probably thinking.

"Naa. Nothing of that sort happened"
I said and swatted her arm playfully.

"Alright. And guess what?"
She said excitedly.

And I think I forgot to mention that I was a really terrible guesser,emphasis on really.

"Your dog is missing"

"You fell in the pool again"

"Or Justin Bieber commented on your blog"

She shook her head at all my guesses and laughed.

"Bennett asked me to be his girlfriend"
Her voice came out as a loud squeak, probably due to excitement.

"Oh my God! I'm so happy for you"
I said and gave her a bone-crushing hug. She was a very wonderful person and deserved all the happiness in the world.

I quickly took a shower, dressed up and then headed downstairs with Elsie to meet Ethan's brother.

Joel, meet Emily and Elsie and Emily and Elsie,meet Joel"

Ethan introduced us to Joel. He shook our hands and smiled at us politely. He was such a gentleman.

"Nice to meet the girls that have captivated the hearts of my brothers"
Joel said and my heart warmed up to him already. He was cool and also hot.

I guess hotness ran in their whole lineage.

"So Emily and Elsie, Joel is my annoying,little brother and he studies abroad"

Ethan explained and shoved Joel's head playfully while Joel did same to him and ruffled his hair.

"Nice to meet you again,my beautiful sisters in-law"

He said and gave us another charming smile.
